heads up lang din sa rainforest. jan dati nag stay yung officemate ko at so bra syang disappointed. nagkaargument pa sila nung kapatid nung may-ari na medyo may pagka-bastos daw magsalita. and of course, like marina, matagal din magserve ng breakfast. at yung mga towels daw hindi amoy malinis.

Feeling ko mas type ko ang El Nido Four Season Hotel, parang gandang ganda ako sa place at oks naman ang mga reviews nya, quite pa :-)

We stayed at Rainforest during our May trip at El Nido and it was the worst hotel. I don't recommend this place. Walang kwenta ang may ari. Kapag nakuha na nila ang bayad sa kanila wala na silang pakialam sa guests. Ang ingay ingay pa kasi may construction sa taas. Ang bastos pa ng nasa front desk.

Stunning Vistas sa Corong Corong maganda, beachfront - pwede kayo straight na magbook sa kanila ng tours anyway parepareho naman ang rates

Hi guys,

Nag iba na ba yung Northern Hope Tours? I mean standrad na yung Php1000/person na travel package kahit na private tour? Nasa 10 pax kasi kami, ang singil samin 1k/person. I was hoping makakamura if we avail of the private tour/boat, pero hindi din pala.

Baka may masa-suggest po kayo na boatman for our trip. Sana nasa 5k-6k lang per day tour.

hi. since 10 pax na kayo better to have private boat. last punta ko nun march, 6k daw dun sa mga nagooffer ng private tour sa mga pwesto dun.. pero nun nagpunta ako last aug 2014, nakakuha kami ng 4k na boat rental na combi-tour plus 500/guide/6pax plus 150/pax sa food. then sila kuya na bahala mamili.. then, nagbigay na lang kami ng tip ng 100/pax. so super sulit kami nun kasi for 2 days, nakapagtour ABCD kami ng less than 2k each..

Any suggestion po kung may alam kayong hotel with tour package na.

^ sis you might want to try Aqua Travel Lodge, sa kanila na din kami kumuha ng tours. Yung tours we got it for Tour A (1000/head) and Tour C (1200/head).. naka discount na kami dun.  accesible yung location ng hotel, walking distance sa mga shops and restaurants. and pag aalis kami for island hopping, lakad nalang kung saan nag aantay yung bangka. Its not beachfront pero nasa likod lang sya nung sister hotel nila na situated at the beachfront talaga.

hello!

I was there last may 25-28. It was supposed to be a couple trip kaso due to last minute changes naging solo trip haha.. spent my birthday there ng solo hehe. it was a DIY trip. no plans. spent 10k siguro (that includes taxi fare from antipolo to airport and vice versa).

i didn't take any offers sa airport ng mga packages. i just rode a trike, asked to be dropped off sa bayan to eat, tapos diretso sa terminal. i joined a van to el nido, who left on time, kahit 5 lang kame. very comfortable. 5 hours. for 450 pesos.

 tapos pagdating sa elnido, walkathon para maghanap ng bahay. i went to a simple inn, got an aircon room for 2 for 1000 pesos, probably 3 or 4 blocks away from the beach, yung beach na may pucca bar ata yun.

tapos for the tours, i just joined a travel keme sa baba lang ng inn, 800 for 1 tour.

ayon, anything goes ang nangyari. petix petix habang birthday. nang mag isa. haha

all i can say is that el nido is amazing. I'll definitely go back. the town seems crowded na pero yung mga beaches at sights, bawing bawi.

 

i really love travelling na anything goes ang peg. anyone else? tara lets!

me and BF booked naman Puerto Prinsesa for July 2016, 300 base fare din, so pumapatak 1200 lang kami 2, RT na + processing fee. Na charge sa kin is around 1700+. To follow na lang ang pick a seat namin.  
 
Sana hindi naman maulan yung punta namin, dun ko gusto mag post-celebrate ng birthday ko. We will be there july 17-21. Nakuha ko is first flight (5:50am) to PPS. Pauwi naman is last flight, (7:35PM)
 
First time namin mag out of town na hindi Boracay, every year kasi nasa Boracay na lang kami. Gusto ko El Nido, ayoko sa Puerto Prinsesa. 
 
Mga sis recommend naman kayo ng ITI and hotel? Trying to check Joaquinn's, dun kasi nagstay officemate ko last year and sabi nya ok naman daw and affordable ang stay.

Excited nako for our trip sa EL NIDO on Aug 30 to Sept3. tee hee!. Nakakuha kami ng ticket via CEBUPAC for P815 pesos lang RT na. hehe. Will back read for the tours.

I'm more into the first option since I don't want to travel anymore from our accommodation to the restos/town. But some helpful thoughts won't hurt.

For me, Your option 1 is better than Northern Hope, although sa Northern Hope kami kumuha before, beachfront accomodation is better kaysa sa Corong Corong na magtravel ka pa around 5-10 mins to Bacuit Bay.  At least madali na lang before start of tour at malapit sa mga restaurants. Before kasi sa Northern Hope Inn kami nagstay, mas cheaper yes dahil no breakfast included.

Sumisikat na din kasi northern hope kaya feeling ko hindi na kasing competitive as before yung rates na offer nila. My family and i went to el nido post christmas last year. From our pps tour to el nido tours, it was indeed hassle free and i got super discounted rates. We have 2 toddlers, free sila even pati when it comes to breakfast, tours, accommodation kaya i highly suggest them afterwards.
