i don't think there's any problem if you have a prenup at a condotel or hotel room. some people even have parties in hotel rooms and it's not a big deal

i also agree with you about making the engagement session a representation of how you both are as a couple and showing your own unique love story

^^ sis some hotel prenup shoots are done really well. like yung kay bianca gonzales at raffles. chill lang sa bed and couch. coffee and pizza. i think its really nice. and practical with this kind of weather.

^dcpdane I agree that the best kind of prenup is the one that reflects who you guys really are... it's not about getting the best pictures if it's not you naman. So bagay nga sa inyo yung condotel shoot! Go for it! Sa amin kasi mahirap lang ang indoor shoot kasi it's totally not who we are...we like being 'gala' and travelling around discovering new places.. we get bored staying at home hehe.
So we shot prenup pics all over Japan and SG before and recently in Ilocos also. Ngayon nagpplan nanaman ako ng bagong place hahaha. You're lucky because indoor shoots are very in line with the weather these days.

dcpdane, we're doing an indoor prenup too. Shooting at my fiance's family's condo which is already fully furnished and coincidentally, that's where we'll stay temporarily until we fix up the condo we bought as a couple. We're also going to shoot inside one of my favorite coffee shops. I think it's totally fine and unique as there are a lot of outdoor shoots going on. Plus my fiance and I are really couch potatoes who are happy to spend the afternoon watching movies and drinking 3 cups of coffee.

Suggest you check Deal Grocer if you want to book a hotel and choose one with a lot of good light! I like the interiors of The Henry Manila and Picasso Boutique residences. Excited for you guys. Let us know how it turns out

Gail Bitoon did a prenup shoot sa Henry Hotel and it was really nice. Ang ganda ng feel doon, modern rustic and homey, hindi masyadong ichurang hotel room.

Kami naman we're a mix of both -- we're couch potatoes, just lying around, cooking, but we love backpacking too. So the location we chose (lakehouse in laguna) has all the elements we want. It has a rustic house (requirement namin was a complete kitchen), a lake, view of the mountains, tent area, etc. When i saw that one may 'this is it' feeling talaga lol.

You may also check Coco's Garden in Paco Manila. Nagshoot kami dun with our friends mga 3 yrs ago, siesta themed. Super laid back ng feel and may parang veranda area sila with a garden outside. Filipino-American yung style nung house. Maganda din kitchen nila, then may huge couch kaya perfect for the indoor cuddle type na shoot.

hi sisses! was wondering if may mga nakapag prenup na sa inyo sa mga "condotels"? but im not so sure kung pumapayag ba yung mga owners to shoot there. baka kasi taasan nila rate pag nalaman nilang hindi lang kami basta magrerent for an overnight stay, but to have a prenup na rin as well.

Sis, i think allowed naman.. People these days also check-in hotels to drink/party or hold bridal showers.. So i think prenup is okay lang.. You may do the check-in then after that, the photogs can just follow you in your designated room..
Yes sis, the prenup should represent how you are as a couple.. For us, we had our prenup in fortune island because we love going to beaches. Almost everyone thought that we would have a beach wedding kase nga we love going to beaches and we both wakeboard and surf. But we are Catholic, so yeah, it was a church wedding
Btw, pico de loro is nice too, medyo malayo nga lang puntahan sa nasugbu..

thanks so much sisses! pretty pala ng henry hotel! now ko lang sya nalaman. yung suites pretty! thanks so much for the reco! <3 nakakatuwa hehe. showed it to hubby na. pati yung pictorial ni gail and bianca gonzales. pag iisipan pa daw nya. pero i made it clear yung henry na ang gusto ko! haha. ganda ng balcony, flexible yung place. pwedeng glamour shots at homey shots. though di naman ako pa-glamour type pero at least may variety tapos walang oot fees hehe!

waiting game na lang ako sa approval ni hubby. mag iipon muna ata sya ng ideas haha!

Read the whole thread coz we don't have an idea for our pre-nup shoot. Akala ko concept/theme lang ang wala kami, pati pala stylists & props kelangan pa. Uh oh. Sounds expensive. I like the rainy day shoot idea, could be cute & sweet. We know what we don't like and/or can't do: we can't keep a straight face. So no modely poses for us, smiling pictures lang.

Our wedding will be Filipino-Chinese. Thinking of a Filipino themed pre nup shoot since most of the chinese part will be sa wedding itself. Anyone here shot at Las Casas na? Or somewhere similar? But then again, that's all we have, location lang. Walang story line. Nakakaloka pala this pre nup shoot thing.

rainy day shoot can be very romantic actually.  our photog, Ruffa and Mike, is good in any weather kaya we were not worried kung maulan man or maaraw.  luckily, sunny naman during our beach shoot kase it was Feb.  pero if ever umulan man, we would be happy din.  here's sample pic of their prenup in the rain of one of their couple clients.

prenups don't have to be expensive and props and stylists are not a requirement. it can just be the two of you walking down the street and enjoying the sights. it can be dramatic or it can be fun. it really just depends on the two of you as a couple

It doesn't have to have a theme, really. And stylists and props are optional. When i search for prenup ideas in pinterest, the ones i liked the most are the random harutan shots. Not staged, not posey.

I like what sis 120515 did na instead of having a cohesive theme, she listed the shots/poses she likes. Maybe you can do the same so your photographer know your style too.

As for Las Casas, it's a very picturesque place. Nakakita na ko ng isang set of engagement shoot there, nakalimutan ko lang kung sinong photog yun. Pero it was a formal shoot kasi [textspeak!]-am yung couple. They wore filipinana dress and barong which blended well with the feel of the place.

^ Thanks, simang! Actually searching pinterest din but to no avail. Parang walang unique na location or even poses. We're actually thinking of wearing Filipiana nga din if he'll not wear a barong for our wedding. Will google nalang that couple shot you saw. Thanks again!

Corpse_bride you can go with Las Casas, Vigan, Intramuros for prenup. Meron din isang part ng Jardin de Miramar na pwede. I agree that prenups dont have to have a full theme, stylist, props, etc. All of the prenups i like, walang props. I find it is classier that way. And styling, only needed if you really cant source the clothes yourself, otherwise, i would rather buy them on my own so i get to keep them and use them again. We had neither props nor a stylist. Just photog or videog then makeup pwede na. Better if you can also do your own makeup!

Thanks for the replies! Actually, last night we were stalking videographers. We have a short list of things we don't like (or I don't like haha) such as props, too much costume changes. We saw a couple of videos na they didn't change clothes. So hoping we could do that if the background is nice like Las Casas. Nice nga sana Vigan, but my sisters said bawal airplane travel once engaged, parang kakapagod naman if land travel.

Nagpanic ako with the stylist part coz most of the b2bs I saw sa videos/photos have burloloys (some too much). I'm not a burloloy person kasi.

Actually told my h2b that I could do away with the pre-nup shoot & sde. Gusto ata ng lolo mag posing mala model kaya sige nalang.

Like what one bride-to-be said previously, your prenup shoot could reflect on who you are as a couple   I used to be London based, and my then fiance and I had one of our prenups there.  We just asked somebody that I used to work with to do it for us so that it will be much cheaper.  I didn't have any stylist.  I did my own hair and makeup (which is pretty much minimalistic.. hehe.. parang nga wala minsan hehe)  and I didn't have borloloys hehe.  The background was pretty much our theme and style. hehe

Check out couple's poses in Pinterest. It will give you an idea on how to pose hehe.

corpsebride, i also had very minimal accessories...like bonzaigirl, i did my own make-up and i chose all our clothes for our prenup from our own closet, we didn't even have to buy new ones...according to an article i read on knot.com, it's best to keep the accessories minimal so that your engagement ring will stand out...on one of my portrait shots in our last set, our photographer asked me to remove my bracelet because he wanted to focus on the ring

Hahaha.. 120515, parehas tayo, I also didn't buy any clothes for our prenup.  I used the ones from my closet.  Although in saying that, one of the dresses that I have used in our prenup was new.  I bought it a long time ago and just forgot about it in the closet.  hehe. Wala kasing opportunity to wear it. hehe.  Yun lang nga, I forgot tochange shoes  when I changed my outfit.  Ang haba kasi ng linakad namin. Napagod na ako. And sinasabi lang ng photog namin o dito tayo.  Kaya I was wearing a red dress and blue shoes wahaha 😄😄😄.  But that is over and done with. Tawa na lang kami after lalo na nung inokray ako nung isang relative ng hubby ko. Keber.  hehe.
