Hi sisses! Currently in HK. Inuna namin mong kok for souvenirs then hanap ng shoes ng brother ko, kaso wala masyadong sale. nasa 400 up karamihan ng shoes.. Try namin mag ikot ikot pa later sa TST, sana may makita kami.. Totoo nga, ang susungit ng intsik sa mong kok haha!

Sorry mangungulit na naman ako about the roast goose to bring to Manila.

I will be in Macau then have to go back to HK for the Manila flight and planning to take the ferry direct to HKIA. Sa HKIA nagbebenta daw ng takeaway roast goose ang Maxim's. My question is this: is it worth it? Masarap ba sa Maxim's ang roast goose? Kung ma-bored agad kasi ako sa Macau babalik agad ako Hong Kong. Meron pa bang ibang mas masarap pa?

I will be in Hong Kong end of March for 2 days only. Kakabasa ko ng forums puro Tsim Sha Shui recommended for first timers but my heart tells me mas okay sa Central/Causeway Bay area. Soho ba parang 'hipster' area? Mas madami ba western restaurants doon? I just want to sample the local cuisine without breaking the budget. How is the cleanliness from the street food? Sorry nagka-trauma na kasi ako I was hospitalised for 2 weeks when I was young for eating street food but I just love them. Is the Peninsula high tea worth it?

Hi sis, for me worth the price just for the experience.  Pero prepared ka dapat to wait.  Punta kami dun ng sister ko on a Sun, around 2:20PM kami dumating, medyo long line na.  nakaupo kami almost 4PM na.

Thanks Artegirl! My cousin prefers Ritz for the view, ako naman Peninsula for the experience. Pag-aawayan pa namin pagdating doon. Sabi ko ang compromise is Robuchon. Anyway, may agreement din naman kami na we can go separate ways.

i was very unhappy with Kams Roast Goose. i cant believe they gave that resto a michelin macaron. anyway, dahil sobrang nagke-crave ako, pagdating namin sa airport i ate 2 orders (maxims). so, yes, nasarapan naman ako. i will probably order again kung hindi na naman ako makapag peking duck whenever our next trip will be. bakit nga pala hindi ka na lang mag peking duck?

Quinone, pasalubong ko sana sa family who are vacationing in Manila and haven't been to Hong Kong yet. Hindi pa kami nakakatikim ng roast goose. Peking duck most likely kakainin ko na lang sa Hong Kong and hindi rin naman masyadong gusto ng family anyway. I'll keep that in mind about Kams, thanks for the suggestion.

Sis try mo maglakad ng maaga andami sa tabi tabi nyan.... Nabibili sya don sa mga small chinese restaurant na may mga naka display na steamer pag umaga, tindahan ng mga dimsum.... Pero if you want to eat talaga sa restaurant meron nyan sa Crystal Jade.

Sis beijhing ano ba ang status nung MIL mo? ano ba ang hawak nya na visa? working visa ba?
yung magtu-tour ilang days ba nya plan mag stay? if less than 14 days lang pedeng wala ng invitation, bale regular tourist lang sya.

now if yung mag tu-tour is planning to stay for more than 14 days, yon kailangan nya ng pre-entry visa. At dapat may mag i-sponsor sa kanya na Hong kong resident.

sa philippine consulate kinukuha yung invitation at binibigay lang yon sa immediate family nung nagii-sponsor (asawa, anak, magulang). And kailangan din ng proof para dito, birthcertificate, marriage certificate etc.,

sis prettybarbie sorry for the super late reply. my MIL works in HK, yep working visa hawak nya. 5 days lang naman kami tour ng family ko don sa april. so hindi na namin kailangan yung sinasabi nyang invitation? thanks for clarifying sis.

Hindi na kailangan ng invitation sis, pero hingi ka ng copy ng HKID at passport sa MIL mo para mapakita sa immigration, kasi pag sinabi mo na bibisita ka sa MIL mo baka hanapan kayo ng proof na sa katunayan na related nga kayo. Sabihin mo sa asawa mo magdala ng birthcertificate just to make sure. Minsan kasi may mga officer na mahigpit at mabusisi. Dati kasi yung kapatid ko nagpunta dito hinanapan pa ng proof ek ek. Pero kung di nyo na sasabihin na may bibisitahin kayo dito, hindi na kayo hihingan pa ng ganon.

Ang online booking ba sa Golden Crown Hotel should be 3 mos prior to check in? Yan kase ang reply nila when i booked the  last time. I was worried kasi baka limited lang ang rooms at ma full booked na.
