^Thanks Mama Squeak! That's an option too. But as much as possible we want to avoid taking the bus. Our hotel is a good 10 mins walk to the nearest pickup point. It's so hard to handle 3 young kids (2yo, 4yo, 7yo) plus luggages. On our last day that's what we will do. Take the free to the Airport Express.

Hi sisses we have a trip planned this jan 15. Yung weather ba super lamig pa rin? Regarding ocean park kaya ba ng mga half day yun? I will be bringing my 3 year old son kase. Malapit lang ba ocean park sa avenue of stars or victoria peak? Is 4pm a good time to go up the peak or foggy na?

Contemplating if we will stay at Royal Plaza (Mongkok) or Royal Pacific (Canton Road, Tst). Spacious in Royal Plaza Hotel, accessible to shopping area in Royal Pacific. We are 5 adults. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Jusko, gusto ko nang gumive-up at magpasundo na lang sa GC pagdating namin. Hahaha. Kamusta naman mga sis ang train/bus from airport with both handcarry and check-in luggage? Hindi ba mahirap?

Tapos mga sis, anyone here knows what time check-in and check-out sa GC? And kung pwede ba mag-iwan ng baggage even after check-out?

Madali ang bus nila kasi may lalagyanan ng mga luggage. I haven't tried train na may dalang luggage pero marami ako nakikita sa MTR, mukhang di naman sila nahihirapan kasi may mga elevators naman.

@Heatherette, sis, maraming salamat! So excited. I started taking some lighter winter clothes out of our boxes. Would you recommend bringing gloves? Hindi naman OA na pang-winter, medyo manipis siya. Hehe. Lamigin ako eh.

I'm seeing friends wearing just jackets and scarves with boots, parang di giniginaw, pero ang laging comment nila is hindi pa rin keri yung lamig? Hahaha. Baka hindi sila prepared?

^Hindi ako lamigin eh kaya ok na ko sa jacket and scarf I don't wear boots, rubber shoes lang hehe But bring na rin gloves just in case.

what do you recommend we ride from the airport to hotel? we'll be with two kids, I've tried the A21 airport bus but adults lang kami that time. Iniisip ko, karga ko anak ko tapos hubby will carry our bags and stroller. Hindi kami magsasama ng yaya so wala talaga akong extra hand. ayoko naman lalo mag train ng andaming dala. Gusto ko avail airport shuttle service kaso parang ang mahal naman.

First time namin mag tatravel with my son, he's toddler na but he isn't that verbal pa, natatakot ako baka mahirapan ako i-handle siya. Okay naman to bring a stroller kahit maglakad lakad kami dun and how about bringing a stroller sa MTR? Kabadong-kabado lang talaga ako. I can handle my toddler, kinakatakot ko lang, syempre we'll be in a different country. How was your experience with your kid/s particularly toddlers when you were in Hong Kong?

^We brought 2 kids with us with yaya. From airport to our apartment (care of AirBNB), nag-bus kami. The yaya helped with the luggage and yung SIL ko in charge sa kids (ages 5 and 2).

Marami ako nakikita nagdadala ng stroller with kids sa MTR so hindi naman siya mahirap. Even locals do it.

Strollers in MTR, generally, no problem. Strollers sa bus, medyo hassle for me kasi it has to be folded. Hindi pwede nakasakay si baby sa stroller while nasa bus ride.

nag reply na ang Golden Crown and avail pa yung deluxe couple (1 queen bed) 2 adults kami and 1 9 yr old boy.. you think kasya na kami dun? thanks!

^ yes sis pwede kayo bumili ng tickets sa Golden Crown kahit hindi kayo guest. Regarding yung bed, I think baka hindi kayo kasya. Kasi kami 2 adults plus 3 year old kid saktong sakto lang. Maybe if payat kayong 3 then kasya pero I still think maging masikip sa bed.

^^ naku. i don't think kasya kayo dun sa room. we availed couple's renovated room pero saktong sakto lang talaga para sa 2 pax. ang sikip pa nung room. and ang tigas nung bed. sira sira na yung mga spring.

Good alternative ang New Yiu Fai Guesthouse. Same building din ng GC.

We availed of quadruple room sa golden crown for our trip this may. Parang mas mura sya compared dun sa may mirador mansion na hostels thru agoda. Hkd 600/night. Maliit lang ba talaga yung room?

Kung marami kayo best bet niyo mag-AirBNB nalang. Mas makakatipid pa kayo at malalaki ang rooms compare sa hostels or inns.
