My nephew's first language is English. We talk to him in english.When he transferred to big school, there wasnt any problem with him learning Tagalog. His grades in Sibika and Kultura, Filipino are as good as in Comm Arts,or/ and any english language taught subjects. Top 5 naman sa class. I think he learned to understand whenever his parents talk to each other.
Para sakin mas ok sana kung mas matatas magsalita ng pilipino ang mga bata at sana mas priority ito sa ating education system. Kasi sa school pag nagtuturo mga teacher english ang gamit kahit mali mali na ng pag pronounce at grammar sige sa pag english pa rin. Kahit yun mga books at exams english lahat pero minsan mali naman yun english. Kaya yung mga kawawang bata eh mali mali rin ang pag pronounce at grammar. Meron pang english only policy sa Ibang schools. Kaya unti unti na namamatay ang filipino language natin.
