Best room/house deodorizers/fresheners

Hi mga sis, please share po mga techniques or brands na gmit niyo for a convenient and mabangong room or house na mga freshers?

I buy mine at the Duty Free.  When I buy,  I get 30 spra cans na - till the next trip.
I am sure meron sa S&R -- but bigger sized spray.

Yup, meron sa S&R, meron sila nung big cans and meron din nung small ones that can fit in your purse.

Febreze din ang gambit ko kaya lang the spray can will get clogged it won't spray anymore kahit may laman pa, kakainis ang mahal pa naman.  maya yung spray bottle na lang kaso hind mist kundi liquid talaga kaya Medco basa pa spray sa sofa.
Backup ok ay Glade spray and Renuzit Super Odor eater, mura pa.

ENNAIRA:  bought Febreze stock again today
9.7oz spray costs $4.30  at DutyFree Phils.

It's the "all natural propellant" version -- so far, hindi pa ko naka experience ng clogging.

Sa US, I was able to buy that thing that lasts for a month -- every so many hours, it automatically sprays.  Ewan ko lang kung meron na dito noon.  That's what I use there.

We also use Febreze but sparingly or as needed lang. We get our supply at S&R. We also use high grade baking soda for all-around cleaning/deodorizing plus a steam mop (I love our steam mop!). We have 15 fur kids so we really have to exert effort na hindi nangangamoy our house. So far friends who come to our house for the first time are surprised to learn we have indoor cats since wala daw amoy our house unlike some of the houses they've visited na amoy panghi.

Yes, FEBREZE  is only for "emergencies":  hubby forgot, & smoked in house;  fish/shrimp cooked in the family kitchen (Me, guilty).

I would have wanted a Dyson sana just like my brother's in the US pero vacuum cleaners and fans pa lang meron available dito (the animalpro is my next project!). Got the B&D mop at 20% off at SM so pwede na. Cheaper pa rin in the US but I don't want to buy appliances there anymore. Mahal mahal ng transformers dito. 

You mentioned the automatic sprayer? Is it the Glade Sense & Spray freshener? Got a bunch of those on my last trip. Nakakagulat lang minsan kasi parang meron nag-aaching

Sis how much ang steam mop sa SM? Aside from B&D meron din dito na Bissell, Philips and Hoover, I am still looking for reviews kung ano mas maganda sa kanila.  BTW, may liquid deodorizer or disinfectant nilalagay sa steam mop? Oo nga pala, the B&D steam mop you bought, is it for hard floor or for carpet or for both? TIA

MAMASQUEAK - yes the Glade. Lol, I use it in NYC.  The first week, I would wake up thinking "may intruder!".   Hahaha.      Nag uwi ka?  Sa bagay, refills nga.   I will bbox nga next time. 

Pls give us the model of your steam mop.   For tiles & stone floors?   I don't think it's ok for wooden floors  - masisira ang  floor finish.

Do you need what refills?   How often to change?  May refills available dito?

PS.  IT's better daw to do grocery in Guam. You have a lotta freebie flights --  it may be worth your while to shop there big-time. .

I use yung glade automatic spray. Kaso ang hirap makahanap nung refill.

Also naglalagay din ako ng baking soda sa gilid ng room para hindi mabaho yung room. Effective naman so far. Kaso medyo hindi lang maganda tignan pag may visitor so naghahanap pako ng idea how others use it.

Im also looking for the best fresheners, what i dont like with manual spray or even automatic spray is that too strong yung amoy once sprayed then mawawala na, what i want is subtle but continuous andd consistent lang yung amoy

kaya ang choice ko right now is yung reed diffusers, but will try if thtere are better options

@gabjumz, got it for 6K+ kasama na yung discount. Water lang nilalagay ko. Hindi sya pwede sa carpet pang floors lang talaga. I don't have carpets since I have cats hindi tatagal sa amin ang carpet. Lol!

@aquacharly, yup I bought refills din good for at least 3-months supply. If I want to make tipid I just take out the batteries. I don't get to use it regularly naman only when I'm expecting guests. Mahal din kasi. BBbox lang talaga katapat natin hehe...

My steam mop looks like this. It has a dial for three floor types: vinyl/tiles, stone/marble, wood/laminates. I have tiles and laminates and it really cleans. I can see the difference especially on my light-colored tiles. Nung una medyo worried ako to use with my laminate floors pero with the dial selection it releases just the right amount of steam kaya dry sya agad.

The mop comes with a cloth pad velcroed to the unit and can be washed after each use pero kami we washed ours after our third use. There is an extra pad that comes with the mop so the two pads can probably last a year if hindi gaanong ka-extensive the usage. You can buy pad refills (Php700) at SM or any store that sells B&D products. Pero hubby was saying madali lang DIY nung cloth pad tapos kabitan lang ng velcro.

Oooh! Guam! Sige something to look forward to when CebuPac starts flying there. 

@honeybunny, what we do with baking soda, we mix it with water and lysol then mop the floor. No not with the steam mop ha just your ordinary foam mop. We do this at least 3-4 times a week since we have indoor cats. Then I use our steam mop once a week lang for overall disinfecting/cleaning. If your room is kulob, it also helps to air it out once in awhile.

Baking soda is really a staple here.
I use it inside the fridge and freezer to absorb odors, for one.
Also I spray it on the carpeted area before vacuuming.
No I don't use as toothpaste  [size=78%], even though it's one of its uses,  sobra na yon.[/size]

Thanks for the feedback mga sis. Nakakstress lang kasi minsan malinis naman ang room mo kaso paranng may unwanted smell. I cant find FEBREZE spray(here probinsya kasi hihi) so I ended up buying renuzit, orang/citrus scent says super odor minimizer. Soo far okay naman Will try the baking soda thing nga rn

If you're looking for cheap deodorizer, charcoal is the best. I use it lalo na't mabilis kumalat ang amoy dito sa condo. Wala naman syang smell more of sinisipsip nya yung mababahong amoy. Sa branded naman Glade is okay or kahit anong cheap brand will do for me

Am in NYC now, just looked at the automatic sprayer I installed here early this year, it's LYSOL.

The problem is not just the transformer requirement, but that it's usually 50HZ in the US; vs  60HZ here.
