Best room/house deodorizers/fresheners

I'm all for the use of baking soda and charcoal pero if I want luxurious scent, I use our Bath and Body Wallflower plug and my fave BBW scent Stress Relief bulb. Mabilis umamoy and most importantly, original. May Singapore-made pala na BBW? Bought it from online FB seller Ritzy Concepts, thankfully legit seller naman sya, items are from US. I buy most of my home and car scents sa kanya.

For our toilet, I use reed diffuser. Fave you yung sa Zen Zests, lahat kasi maamoy talaga. Perfect for bathroom.

i wonder if pwede ko ilagay to and at the same time ilalagay ko din yung glade na toilet block

How do you deal with kulob and panghi sa house ninyo?

I sweep and mop every day and it wasn't a problems in the dry season, but now that it's tag-ulan na, I keep noticing the bad smells in the house.

We have 2 dogs and give them weekly baths, but still, mas noticeable yung smell nila ngayon, nakakahiya. Add to that fact that anyone coming in or out tracks mud and dirt inside when it rains, di maaliwalas yung bahay.

I sweep, then mop once with Lysol lavender na diluted in water. Then I mop twice after, with plain water. Araw-araw yan.


As for the panghi situation... Ahem. TMI warning po, sorry po kung may mandiri.

My dad's 84 and diabetic. Sabi ng Mama ko and our once-a-week cleaner na ganuun talaga ang ihi ng lalaki, mapanghi, but it's just -- minsan parang olfactory assault when I use the bathroom after nagamit niya. Kumapit ba yung amoy, kuha niyo?

We used Lysol disinfectant spray pero it lingers. Is there any way to get the smell out?

Problema din kasi yung weather, nothing ever truly dries out when it keeps raining, so I think the damp contributes to the situation.

Anyone here experienced the same things or something similar? What did you do? Did it work? Any recommendations as to cleaning solutions?  Any little tip can help.

Recommended ng mga kaibigan kong madaming furry friends ang paggamit ng steam mop. Talagang nakakabawas daw talaga sa amoy ng mga furry friends. Pero wala akong first hand experience dito kasi laminated wood planks ang flooring namin so takot ako gamitin.

Instead of just plain water na pang mop, nasubukan mo na ba gumamit ng vinegar? Alam ko maamoy ang vinegar kasi ginagamit ko syang panlinis sa bahay pero usually e nawawala din naman pag natuyo na. Baka lang mas ok sya compared to Lysol. Mas mura pa kahit na yung soshaling distilled white vinegar ang gamitin mo.

I live with boys kaya pamilyar ako sa second problem mo. Ang nagwowork talaga sa bahay e banlawan lahat ng stray sprays agad agad para di na kumapit at mangamoy. Tama ka na kalaban talaga natin ang dampness pero if you don't have exhaust fan sa banyo, I guess mas ok kung palagyan mo para makabawas sa dampness. Usually iniiwanan ko ang fan naka-on for 10-15 minutes after gumamit ng banyo to air it para iwas sa amoy at amag. HTH. Happy cleaning!

we recently bought air humidifer yung sa sm surplus. ok naman sya. nakakabango ng room, hahaluan mo lang ng few drops of fragrance oil.

I bought this super luxurious thing that I would put in my purifier that I bought in surplus shop.  Ang bango I swear!  For my sheets and beddings, I spray on the anti-dust spray with citronella from sesou.  The smell looks amazing and it's organic.

We use glade block in the cr and in our rooms so far ok naman sya it removes the bad odor in the rooms. Also planbing to buy humidifier for the sala but dont know where to buy a good humidifier and scents...  :/

Nahihilo ako sa air fresheners, we use oil burner instead. May lola akong may alzheimer's di maiiwasan na magkalat ng wiwi and pupu. Ayun ginagamit namin and nawawala naman yung unwanted smell. Nilalagay ko sa sala pero yung scent nya umaabot hanggang 2nd floor. Meron din sa SM dept. Store na linen spray ata yun, i like the baby powder scent.

So far, these are the 3 effective deodorizers i've used:

- Baking soda (everybody knows about this na)

- Vinegar (i leave a bowl of vinegar for hours or a day in the room na gusto kong mawala amoy. it absorbs the stinky smell)

- Hydrogen Peroxide (sometimes diluted, sometimes hindi, nilalagay ko sa pampunas, then i use that to wipe the toilet bowl or toilet floor, or kung anong surface mapanghe, then tanggal ang amoy, disinfected pa. i also put a few drops sa toilet bowl minsan)

Rooms and bathrooms/toilets are clean and have no smell.

in my case I put the charcoal as is lang. lagay mo lang sa open container para d naman messy. I put this sa shoe cabinet namin ni hubby para di amoy kulob. I also put this inside my fridge or sometimes sa loob ng car especially if nagdrive thru kami na naiiwan amoy ng food sa car. Charcoal works. been using this for years na

my mom uses baking soda sa cr nila, budbod lang tapos scrub niya after or buhos with water. parang okay naman,

Recently bought those wallflower fragrance plug at bath and body works. Ang bango! the caramel pumpkin swirl makes my kitchen smell so yummy!
Sa toilet and bathrooms, any fresh smelling solid air freshener like glade will do.

Nilagay ko yung uling sa mga sulok mga dalawang linggo na. Di ganun kalakas pangamoy ko kaya di ko sigurado kung epektibo nga Di naman mabaho kaya tingin ko eh gumagana naman.

Dati meron sa SM na KingKing Fresh na fragrance oil - ito talagang sobrang bango pero matagal na itong wala at hindi ko mahanap.  Sobrang bango nito pramis!  Ang sosyal ng amoy
  Sayang lang at mukhang tinigil na ang pagmanufacture nito.
