But if you do partial redemption kailangan yung current value ng UITF ay may maintaining balance?

I asked BPI hotline about the UITF "maintaining balance" and this is how it works:

If the actual money you placed in the UITF account is at least 10k, then there's no need to worry about it even if your investment is losing and has a paper value of less than 10k. No need to add more if you're not planning to just so your balance will reach 10k.

If you redeem and leave 0 to less than 10k in your UITF, then there will be a chance that BPI will close your account. They admit that it will "take a while" for that to happen, but if you want to keep using your account, they encourage that you maintain at least the minimum 10k investment in there.

EDIT for further explanation: View your investment account portfolio. If your "Cost" is 10,000 and up, then don't worry about the "maintaining balance".

May question ulit ako mga sis.., 

Nakapag subscribe na ako sa RSP, ang intindi ko sa kanya mag set ako ng date/schedule kung kelan mag auto-debit ang amount.  Sept15 yun start date ko and 2020 ang end date...

I assumed na mababawasan pa yung sa account ko on Sept15, pero mag submit ko nabawas na agad yun nilagay kong amount.  Ganun ba yun? Then, on Sept15 mag auto-debit na naman?

Nabawasan ulit ako today, since yun ang na-set ko na start date.. bali twice nung naregister ako sa RSP at yun first contribution ko nga today..

hi mga sis I've applied BPI Investment online then bring the prints to my nearest BPI branch last week, pano ko po malalaman kung approve yung application ko?

yun sa akin tinatawagan ko yun branch to confirm kung ok na.  Tapos kunuha din ang number ko, then nag text sila na ok na daw.  Nakita ko naman agad sa online.

^hi sis! nung naconfirm na OK na account mo, did you receive an email? yung sa akin kasi august 6 ko pa pinasa docs, wala pa rin. nag follow up ako sa branch, wala naman ako napala sa kausap ko. nag email din ako, pero wala rin reply. then parang a week ago nagulat nalang ako nakita ko na online, ganun ganun lang walang paramdam. hindi ko tuloy maconfirm kung kelan na activate kasi wala silang notification man lang saka hindi naman ako everyday nagchecheck online.

I think pag nakita mo na siya online, activated na yun.

natapos din magbackread!.. convenient nga sa Bpi if you can directly enroll it online..unlike sa Bdo na need pa makuha yong Cop bago pwede maenroll online..planning to have the short term fund nila..magkano minimum pwede istart sa short term?..and yong equity index fund unlimited ba yon hanggat sa gusto mo mag-add monthly doon sa initial minimum na 10k?depende na lang kung kelan mo gusto i-redeem?salamat sa mga sasagot..

sis thank you..you mean kahit kelan as in kahit hindi monthly unlike sa BDO EIP nila?what about yong sa RSP nila doon lang ba pwede i-set like gusto mo monthly auto debitting from your bpi savings acct?

yung sa akin equity fund din 10k initiial, hindi monthly may bawas, kagaya sa BDO EIP, nasa sa'yo kung kelan m o gustong mag buy and sell saka ikaw din bahala kung magkano lang gusto mong i-add
