Mga sissy sino po kaya dito ang may BPEIF2? Kasi ewan ko ba kung bakit napapayag ako sa ganitong klaseng investment na may dala na insurance nag sign na ako ng policy nila ang kainis lang hindi ko masyado  maintindihan. hehe bali mga sis mgbabayad ako ng 5680 per month for 5 years tapos may worth 650000 sa life insurance & 650000 sa accident&health tapos 450000 sa CRITICAL ILLNESS matanong ko lang mga sis after 5 years makukuha ko ba ng buo ang pera ko na hinulog ko every month sa loob ng 5 years or may tapyas yon dahil sa mga insurance? TIA!

@fearich - sis, prang ganyan yung kinuha ko for my husband but fund allocation is 50% oddessy bond fund and 50% BPI high conviction equity fund yata. We opt for the annual 5 years to pay kasi mukhang cheaper sya.

As far as I know it has a cash surrender value at the end of 5 years but it's not advisable to terminate the plan until its 10th year. Walang monthly payout yun after 5 years kung same tayo ng plan. Kinuha ko to as additional coverage lang hanggang sa binubuo pa namin ni hubby ang target emergency fund level namin. Alam ko kasi after 10 years halos same na ang guaranteed insurance coverage mo at fund value then 15 years mas malaki na ang fund value sa insurance component.  May table yun sis, check mo and feel free to ask you agent. Prang ok naman sila kausap.

i tried opening uitf account with bpi.. since i live overseas, i mailed all requirements to my source account-branch, but haven't heard from them since.. siguro may 3 weeks na rin. ganun ba katagal ang waiting time?

It could be faster if you have a contact person in the branch and call them.. Pag present ka kasi it's just 30 minutes so I think the delay is because they prioritize present clients then ongoing workload.

^^Ako rin sis, I applied for short term fund and personally submitted the forms 2 weeks ago pa. Sabi sa akin eemail daw ako pero wala pa rin until now. Ifoforward pa raw sa main office nila yun. Ang labo lang, nag eemail sila sa clients para ma encourage mag open ng account pero ang tagal naman pala ng processing.

Hello sisses! 

Nakapag open na din ako ng UITF finally!  Nagpunta ako sa branch nung Monday then kahapon lang ako natext ng bangko na ok na daw, kasi nung nakakaraang araw naka-down daw yun system.

After 3 banking days ko pa daw makikita online yun sa investment.

^grabe sis ang bilis nung sayo. sinabi rin ba na ifoforward yung docs sa head office nila? tawagan ko nga mamaya yung branch ko, kalokaaa.

nag check ako ngayon lang.. reflected na siya sa online ko.

Sis crzysxycl, followup mo.. sa akin wala namang sinabing need pa i-forward ang docs sa Head Office ang reason lang nila sa akin down ang system.

Question pala...

Pwede na ba ako mag enroll dun sa Regular Subscription Plan (RSP)? Or need ko pa mag antay ng 1 month? and pwede na ba yun Subscribe online lang? or need ko pa pumunta dun sa branch kung san ako nag open?

wala kase akong mabasang thread or blog if outside the country yung mag avail ng investment products nila

Most banks seem to require personal appearance to invest and redeem. If you have an existing account with BPI and Security Bank, it'll be a step easier. For now, PNB is the bank that makes it easiest for OFWs to invest in UITFs. Their UITF online facility allows OFWs to invest and redeem even while abroad.

Nakakainis yung branch ko, nag follow up ako kasi hindi pa rin ako ineemail. Wala raw sila access dun dahil tiga-pasa lang daw sila.  Mag 1 month na next week yung application ko. Ang sabi pa sa akin, itawag ko raw sa 89-100 at dun ako mag follow up.. ang hirap pa naman kumontact sa 89-100.

Yeah, mostly loss din sa akin but not yet reaching my ceiling level. Especially today umakyat ulit ng konti

ayun.. bumagsak kahapon. Sakto lang din kakastart ko lang.. laglag agad! Haha. May loss ako na P500+, paano pala yun? Since, kaka start ko lang at maintaining balance lang yun nasa account ko tapos nabawasan pa ng 500, need ko ba mag deposit kahit atleast ma-maintain ang balance para makapag continue?
