hi mga sis, I have a dillema with my L&S. Yung venue package ko kasi may kasama ng Basic Sound system and I feel the inclusions are not enough tapos the upgrades for lights sobrang konti ng choices and if I try to add everything in, its about the same package with rejectkrew. I'm willing to forego sana the included sound system but rejectkrew is not an accredited supplier sa venue so they'll charge me additional 6k for crokage.

Im thinking if kukuha pa po ba ako ng band or L&S na lang? mahal po ba masyado nag rates na binigay nila? sa totoo lang gusto ko maging maganda at buhay yung reception namin since all white ang venue namin madami nagsasabi na maganda lagyan ng lights. si h2b lang kasi ang gusto din magkaron ng band.

This is really up to you sis. Dati din kasi i thought of not getting lights and sounds. But without led lights, chandeliers are the only source of light and its kinda OA naman sa liwanag na white. Then to make your band sounds BEST, you have to provide them good speakers, mixers, na ipoprovide naman ng sounds. Yun ang naisip ni htb. Kasi maganda nga ang boses ni singer, pero basag ang speakers, sabog ang quality ng kanta, boring at mag aalisan ang guest. Remember that during the cocktail hours your guests should be entertained while waiting for the program. Dito papasok ang role ng banda at laro ng lights.  Kung ok lang sa iyo na walang lights at simple speakers nalang, this one is really up to you sis. 

I attended a wedding na walang band and yung program merong 2 surprise number. nagmukhang singing contest  kasi birit sila eh sorry naman, d ganun ka ganda ang outcome. Hehe.
Kung cd's naman depende na iyon sa DJ mo kung paano nia lalaruin ang songs na upbeat, etc. kung plainly CD kasi, parang walang "personal" connection. Parang nasa mall ka or restaurant na may automatic Lang na natugtog, parang ganun. Pero this is my opinion lang ha.

We also Got Infinite souls btw. 18K for church or reception lang? Is it full band?

@berryprincessy, great deal na yan sis kasi mura na lights and sounds may freebies kapa from the band. Better if sanay na magkawork ang band and sound system para smooth ang program flow ng wedding mo. Panget kapag walang band, I already saw a wedding na walang band as in super boring, kapag panay DJ naman hindi rin ganun kaganda.

Hi sis Maxim04 18k daw yun pero reception lang... yung plan ko sana kunin is yung package 2 nila  na 1 female, 1 male singer, pianist and i can choose between violinist or sax. my personal choice is violinist talaga para sana sa bridal march ko makuha ko pero si h2b gusto sax. ewan ko lang kung magkano nila bigay sa akin ang violinist nila pag kinuha ko sa church.

maganda ba sila magperform?


sis noveetwenty3 maganda ba talaga pag may band? nagiisip nga ako kung swak siya sa budget namin ni h2b. kasi parang gusto niya din talaga na meron na band, mas ok daw sa reception.

Based on my observation sa may band sa walang band, kapag may band ang wedding mas classy tignan and mas organized sya since makikita mo intervals na cocktails pa lang then nagstay talaga mga guests hanggang after party lalo na kapag full band kinuha mong band, super party-party talaga kayo ng guests sa huli , as in sobrang happy ng outcome ng wedding mo. Kapag walang band naman, somethings kulang, siguro kasi halos karamihan ng napuntahan kong wedding may bands talaga kaya hinanapan ko.

I think the only problem with a live band is that they have to be really, really good -- in my experience a mediocre-to-average band is worse than a mediocre-to-average DJ. One of the weddings I went to last year had an ok band, not naman horrible but not magaling; people were actually escaping to the balcony lol. If you've got the choice between a good DJ and a good band, I think it's just a matter of personal preference; I've booked a DJ that plays at clubs/music festivals because that's the vibe we want for dancing.

^what's wrong with the band sevenstars? Not good like pangit the quality of sounds? Mali mali ang chords? Hindi magaling ang singer?

belle_v2g, there were two singers -- the guy was ok but the female singer was not great talaga. The speakers were pretty loud so rinig na rinig when it was bad :/ It's interesting because I looked up the band afterwards (they advertised themselves at the end lol) and the samples they had on YouTube were excellent. The female singer on their site was different though, so maybe their regular singer got sick or went on vacation or something?

Chili, it seems like the bands that are in demand book up pretty quickly so it could be risky. But if you're happy naman with a good DJ as your "default" option (and you're sure one of your DJ friends will be free) I think you can wait and see

sis belle-v2g yun nga din ang iniisip ko eh pero ang nagugustuhan ko talaga ngayon eh yung Inifinite Soul Acoustic with L&S na sknila. yung budget lang talaga ang iniisip ko. kaya naghahanap talaga ako ng feedback sknila kung maganda ba talaga. ayoko naman kasi pumangit yung reception. gusto ko lang gumanda at gumaang yung feeling ng guest ko while waiting for the program. lakas din kasi makaset ng mood ang bands diba?

Sis berryprincessy.. Infinite Soul could win people's choice award here coz a lot of couples book them for their ceremony and reception music. They even have 3 teams just to accommodate all their bookings. However, due to hubby's musical preference, being a music arranger himself, we opted for a classical ensemble instead.

How much ba is their package sis with the L&S? I think they have their partner L&S ehh. Ayaw nila particularly RejectKrew. (I have read somewhere). Hehe!

Hello!! Has anyone here hired Sensitivity for not just L&S but also for venue draping? Has anyone seen a recent draped setup done by them?

There have been 3 stylists who have told me that Sensitivity is pretty decent at doing drapes and I am considering getting them to also do the drapes at my venue. But then someone else told me that Sensitivity uses old fabric that is sometimes already starting to gray in color. I wonder how true this is?
