i wish that when i was your age, someone had told me that when you get older, the thing that will haunt you the most is your career. don't get me wrong. i love my life now. but i wish that the time i spent trying to lock down a relationship, worrying about whether i will meet the one, blah blah, i spent traveling or starting a business or going back to school. it's not that it's too late for me now but it is much harder to pursue those personal goals when you have someone waiting for you. it's hard to be selfish when the decisions you make have an effect on other people. so that's what i'll say to you--stop worrying about your love life. you will meet lots of people eventually because your world will expand once you start working. i think as long as you're discerning and you're open to all possibilities and you take good care of yourself, you will find a good man. but right now, you have been given a great opportunity to pursue your post-grad and your not having a boyfriend is exactly what you need. someone to hang out with? madali hanapin. but if you want love, you want a serious relationship, i don't think this is the best time for that.
