^ thanks sis marose. i agree with you. waste of time lang talaga mga guys na na-intimidated sa mga girls like us. kung ayaw, move on sa next guy. hehe. saka tama ka dun sa unang post mo. mas depressing talaga ang mag flunk sa bar exam kaysa naman sa zero ang lovelife. wag naman sana mangyari sa akin yun. :)

I can relate to this thread.  :D Turning 23 this year and also a law student. Been single for almost 2 years na rin. After the break-up, wala rin akong nakadate or special someone. And my friends also tell me na intimidating daw talaga ako.  ;D

Pero come what may. If it's meant to be at will ni God, magkakaroon at magkakaroon kung hindi ok lang din.haha  ;)

Girl ang bata mo pa. I am 34 and ala BF for almost 5 years, because I dont want to settle for "btn" guy. Maximize the advantages of being single...enjoy life, pamper yourself and focus on making yourself happy. You'll meet him soon (;

Kung mahihirapan ka makahanap ng boyfriend once you entered law school then why did you study law in the first place?

24 years old, tama sila bata pa yan.
It makes us feel like a woman.

At 24 years old realistically speaking marrying age na yan especially for a woman.
Kaya dapat you look for a guy na husband material.
At dapat ikaw din you should be wife material.
Nabasa ko sa isang blog that men do not care a lot about a woman's career.
What a man wants is a feminine woman.
Feminine ka ba? Do you have domestic skills? What can you offer on a man?
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, di ba?
Wear feminine clothes (like dresses and heels). smile always, and your voice dapat feminine din. And the hair, keep it long. And wear make up too.

At 24 years old your chances of finding a good man is very high. Kumbaga ngayon ang peak years mo. Wag mo sayangin. That's the reality.

@langley

hi sis. i appreciate your advice but i still want to answer your question. nag aral ako ng law dahil gusto ko maging lawyer. di ko hahayaan na yung fear ko maging forever alone ang haharang sa pangarap ko. yun lang. salamat :)

i wish that when i was your age, someone had told me that when you get older, the thing that will haunt you the most is your career. don't get me wrong. i love my life now. but i wish that the time i spent trying to lock down a relationship, worrying about whether i will meet the one, blah blah, i spent traveling or starting a business or going back to school. it's not that it's too late for me now but it is much harder to pursue those personal goals when you have someone waiting for you. it's hard to be selfish when the decisions you make have an effect on other people.

so that's what i'll say to you--stop worrying about your love life. you will meet lots of people eventually because your world will expand once you start working.  i think as long as you're discerning and you're open to all possibilities and you take good care of yourself, you will find a good man. but right now, you have been given a great opportunity to pursue your post-grad and your not having a boyfriend is exactly what you need. someone to hang out with? madali hanapin. but if you want love, you want a serious relationship, i don't think this is the best time for that.

^ hi sis. oo nga eh. mahirap isabay lovelife ngayon sa law school kasi 4th yr na ako at sobrang daming binabasa. tapos nandyan pa ang nalalapit na bar exam. hopefully next year na ako makaka-take. so i'm very sure mas stressful ang life ko next year. so habang wala pa si Mr. Right, mag-aaral muna ako ng mabuti. tanggap ko na din na baka single pa din ako while reviewing for the bar exam. hehe. basta ako mag enjoy na lang sa life ko habang siya nagpapakabusy hanapin ako. :)

hello. bago lang ako dito and frankly, im looking for love kaya nag-sign up ako dit sa GT.
hope i'm welcome...sorry to intrude in your post a...baka kasi ikaw na yun hinahanap ko e. hehe. joke lang po...

baka nga most of the guys out there are intimidated. nagkaruon ako dati na GF na nagtatake ng Law, sa totoo, dominating talaga ang mga katulad nyo pero syempre minsan pag alam ko tama ako hindi ako nagpapatalo. pero sya, sobrang hindi kaya tumanggap ng pagkatalo. tatahimik na lang sya pag alam nya mali sya. kaya ayun nagkahiwalay din kami because of miscommunication...:(

Pag dadating, dadating. No need to worry about it. Focus on other aspects of your life na lang like yang sa career mo.

It'll also help if you'll expand your circle. Meet more people, go out more. Present yourself better, dress fashionably, etc. :)

24 is such a young age to be worrying about these things. focus on your studies first esp now that you are in your 4th year. after that comes the crucial review for the bar. you cant afford to have all these distractions. once you pass the bar, then by all means thats the time that you go all out and hunt for the man of your dreams. right now, it is useless and self-defeating to be wallowing and wondering about whether your "prince charming" will come. in the bigger scheme of things (and believe me, you will look back on this once you're older), whats important is you. as a person. you have to be complete first, and then be content. dont go searching for whatever is "incomplete" inside you, thinking you will find it on some other person. its a wrong premise na kaya mo gusto magka bf because "he completes you." before you even start thinking about that, dapat ayusin mo muna ang sarili mo and get your s*** together. right now, its best if you get your head off the clouds. stop daydreaming and start focusing. if its bound to happen, it will happen.

Hello! I really love your post. I am 24 and have never been in any serious relationship, most of them were dating or MU's because I don't want to neglect my career. I am still glad that I focus on it,  although sometimes I have hard time explaining my reason to my friends who keep on lecturing me about my expectations or standards, and never understand my point. :)
