Confirmed! Hubby cheated! Revenge or Not?
« on: July 25, 2014, 10:48:54 pm »
I just recently confirmed that hubby cheated.

They had a relationship from July 2013 to roughly December 2013.

Ni hunt ko yung girl and I found she's working sa LTO.

I confronted her pero hindi ko sya inaway, but she never apologized kahit umamin pa sya na maraming beses na may nangyari sa kanila.

Gustong gusto kong gumanti. Sa kanilang dalawa.

Ok kaya na ipatanggal ko sa trabaho si girl because I have her confession and pics and their conversation documented.

May laban pa kaya ako? I'm so angry, sa kanilang dalawa.

Also sabi mo last year  yung affair, parang wala ng impact.

My friend also learned her husband cheating, guess what she did? Spanked the living out of that girl!  serves the b1tch right though..  did she gained from it? yes, nalabas nia yung sama ng loob nia. Oo masakit and i feel you, but will it change a thing? no broken na ang trust. pero sayo? gusto mo pa ba? it isnt easy.. and the fact your husband cheated you means something is wrong and you need to back track but no sense na din kase nangyari na but in any ways, well na sa sayo naman yan TS, I will feel the same too pag nangyari sa akin yan, but getting even is something i will think carefully and plan carefully. my advise? pray harder, think thousand times. and think about your child if there is. punish your husband sis but do not give up your marriage and your wedding vows. i wish you well! :)

PINKISH23:  it is a waste of time to focus on the LTO partner-in-crime.  Hwag mo na kausapin or puntahan.  Kasi pag nakakakita  tayo ng ipis, eh gusto natin sapakin or grind underfoot .  Baka ikaw pa makasuhan or ma-You Tube.  Ngek.

The administrative & legal process to have her fired will be tedious.  Nothing is impossible, puede; she may  even deserve it.  But:  the energy & time you will devote to that --  kaya mo?
Puede nya ma lusutan & portray herself as the victim:  She will say she didn't know he was married; and dumped him when she found out.

O, so you hunted down the ipis, may I ask how you handled "the elephant in the room" - your betrayer.
Don't tell me you are taking it sitting down?

IMO, he is the 1 to blame for this.  Si LTO P.  eh ginamit lang nya to wound you with his betrayal.  It could have been another woman -- MMDA?  It really could've been any woman he could have sweet-talked.
Even if you are more imperfect than he is (we are all imperfect beings) --  he should have talked it over with you kung ano man hinanakit or gigil or boredom nya.
What am I trying to say?  Hwag mo ignore the elephant in the room by focusing on the ipis or blaming yourself.

Talk to your husband.
1 good starting point is to find out why the affair ended.  I hope he does not answer: kasi pinalitan ko sya ng iba (mababaril ko yang elephant mo).  Hopefully, he says he got an epiphany that having an itch scratched elsewhere makes him a bad boy.

Sis PINKISH23:   Every disaster/crisis/wounding/betrayal  can have a silver lining.
If handled & processed properly --  your marriage can become better/stronger,  & you gain strength & better knowledge of yourselves from it.
Or, The Truth will set you free.   Either way, you gain.   It never pays to live fooling yourself.

Also,  History repeats itself until The Lesson is learned.
And IMO,  letting your husband off lightly, or excusing him & putting the blame on the LTO or on yourself is not the big part of The Lesson.
I don't mean you gotta come down hard on him, get your pound of flesh so to speak -- but, you must make him see his betrayal as a lapse of better judgment.  That it is his Bad Choice, regardless of his list of complaints against you.  Reach out to him, he has to open up & see why philandering brings crap into your lives, & that he is destroying the family he works hard to advance.

PS:  Do not hold your breath waiting for an apology from the LTO woman.   Women who get involved with married men -- IMO, they are experts at rationalizing what they know is immoral.  But that is just my opinion, what do I know anyway?

Sis PinKisH_23,

I agree with Aquacharly. Yes, you have been wronged. What they did is unacceptable. Especially your husband. There is not even a morsel of doubt about that. But before you act on your thoughts, i.e. revenge against the kab*tch, think about it first. After you have done your "revenge", makakaluwag ba ito ng nararamdaman mo? Will it make you feel better? Will it make you a better person? Matatahimik ka ba? Matatapos ba ang gulo?

I believe right now you are hurting. Sino ba namang hindi masasaktan sa nangyari? You might think that your revenge is just so fitting for the situation. But I don't think it's a solution. And it's just a waste of your precious time.

My husband also had an affair. At first, of course I was hurt and devastated. What an immoral b*tch! I was tempted several times to make "sugod" or embarrass her in front of her colleagues. But I analysed the situation first and asked myself what I'd benefit from it. At that time nga when I discovered the affair, even if my husband ended it immediately, he still decided to leave me. So imagine my despair.

But I prayed hard--for guidance. And thought really hard. I decided to hold on to my marriage and stick to my vows, one thing that my husband forgot to do. And of course, even if I was angry at him, I still love him and was willing to make it work. That was MY DECISION. So I IGNORED THE OTHER WOMAN. I focused on my husband and how I can salvage my marriage. Bottomline is, we're still together--we're better and happier. We learned from our mistakes and are both geared towards working on our "forever".

I know we have different situations or circumstances. What I'm trying to say is that, before you decide on doing your revenge, make sure you can accept the possible consequences. Whether you can live with them or not. Whether you'll be happier or not, etc. The most important thing is, do you still love your husband? Are you still willing to work on your marriage? If you answered yes, then focus on that area first. Ignore the useless mistress.

As for the other immoral woman, I agree with Aquacharly. She will just rationalize. And in addition, WALANG INSIGHT AND GOOD JUDGMENT ang mga kabit. Take it from me, the only worst thing I did was leave a message on the inbox of my husband's kab*tch---to remind her of decency, self-respect and her worth as a woman. You know what she did after that? She wanted to see my husband! At nagkita pa sila and started texting again! WALANG KALULUWA itong babaeng ito! Parang na-challenge pa siya!

So sis, think about it.

Stay strong.

God bless.

Just an advice based on my experience:

My hubby cheated and lied to me so many times so dumating yun time na napuno ako and thought of seeking revenge by having an affair with an officemate. Anung napala ko? Wala. Nasira lang yun family namin and ngayon mas stress pa ko. Minsan iniisip ko what if pinatawad ko nalang siya at hindi ko ginawa or nakipag hiwalay nalang ako atleast tapos na.

Taking revenge won't let you live at peace sis. It's much better to forgive para may closure.

Sis you won't accomplish anything by taking revenge. In the end, you're only hurting yourself. You need to forgive yourself most of all for even taking part of the blame why your husband cheated.

Let me share from Henry Cloud's book, Boundaries: When To Say Yes, How to Say No:

The Bible is clear about two principles: (1) We always need to forgive, but (2) we don’t always achieve reconciliation. Forgiveness is something that we do in our hearts; we release someone from a debt that they owe us. We write off the person’s debt, and she no longer owes us. Only one party is needed for forgiveness: me. The person who owes me a debt does not have to ask my forgiveness. It is a work of grace in my heart.”

Hello mga sis, I've been through hell for the past week and ngayon ko lang naalala na nakapag post pala ako dito.

I've finally decided na hindi na mag revenge, pero I made sure hubby learned his lesson very well. In fact, the other night nakikipag hiwalay na ako and that nearly gave him a heart attack. I got so scared then kasi asa China sya, alone sya that time sa condo nila. I realized na hindi ko parin sya kaya i give up, so we patched things up but I made him swear that that will be the end of it.

I've been shooing him away para bumalik dun sa mga babae nya at mga kalandian, mamuhay syang binata, basta not on my expense. But he declined and begged for forgiveness etc.

Anyway, the best na nagawa kong pag ganti ay mag message sa babae nya, noted below plus her response.

Cathy, Jeff and I are starting out fresh again. I've given him another chance and one way of really moving on is for me to forget you, dahil sabi nga nya, you're just part of the past and ibinaon nya na sa limot ang memories with you and the other girls na dumaan sa buhay nya. With everything that we've been through together, I guess wala talaga makakapagpabago the fact that we're married and we've shared more happy memories than the not so good ones. Sabi nga nya, naligaw lang sya ng minsan and he swore na ayaw nya ng balikan kung ano man ang mga nangyari.

I believed him this time around because I can see his changes and his efforts in making our relationship work. At ipinakikipag laban ko sya because I love him just the same.

I never once saw that you were apologetic and that kept my doubts going. A simple sorry would've completed Jeff's apologies, but I didn't get that from you. I wanted to hurt you, your family, but I won't. Kahit na sinira nyo at one point ang buhay ko, I will not stoop down and do the same, because I'm the better person, because hindi sagot ang gumanti, I'm just going to move on with my life with Jeff again like nothing happened, like you never existed in our lives. And that would be enough for me to move on.

Yung makita kita na nag suffer when I was telling you everything that Jeff lied about, I may not see your reactions but I know you were hurt, that is enough for me. You were trying to show me you were strong but I know inside you were truly hurt because till now mahal mo ang asawa ko, despite na sinabi mong friends lang kayo sa ngayon. I knew you never had closure so I made sure he sent the email, for you both, para malinaw sa inyong dalawa at lalo sa kanya, na to keep me, he must drop you like a hot potato, together with his extra chat affairs, na dapat wala ng extra baggage. You or me, and walang kisap mata, he chose me, he even begged to be with me. Kahit anong pag shoo away ko sa kanya, he wants to be with me, not just because we're married but because mahal nya ako. He even mentioned once in our conversation, feeling nya hindi ka nya talaga minahal and he was just after the sex because he got it from you free the times na he's not getting any from me because I was busy.

I was jealous at first, but now, I only feel pity, because every girl deserves a guy who will love them back equally, it just happened that the guy you love turned out married to me and that he can't leave the marriage for you because he loves me more than anything in the world.

So to end this, I promise you won't hear a thing from me, as long as you stay away and keep away. With your nick sa YM, there's no way in the world for me to know who you are but I did, I told you, I have my ways. So, in one way or another, I will know if you make contact with him in any means possible. So goodbye Ms. Catherine ******* and good bless you.

Her response:

Hello! Good luck and God bless!

TS, you have proven me wrong.  Mistresses in movies who apologize do exist!  ;D  I never thought they do, kala ko sa pelikula lang.

In my case kasi, I never attempted to contact the mistress.  Now that I know hiwalay na sila ng ex ko, wala naman akong paki. But yes, a sorry can somehow make you move on. Kaso in my case, matigas talaga ang mukha ng kabit, wala naman tayong magagawa dyan.  like bwiset12, hinayaan ko nalang sila sa buhay nila and I go on with mine.

Hello mga sis,

It's been a month now since nalaman ko ang mga kabalbalan ni hubby sa YM, sa YM lang yan ah. Since April I've learned a lot sa pakikipag flirt nya sa iba't ibang babae, foreigner and Pinays. Kaya nga gustong gusto ko na syang hiwalayan, till now pag sinusumpong ako, nakikipag hiwalay parin ako, till now he still begs na ayusin namin. Halos 24/7 kami naka skype pwera nalang kung asa work sya which only takes 5-6 hrs a day at kung umaalis ako pag weekends.

Back nung April, I was in China for vacation, dun ko nalang nalaman na aside sa flirting nya sa mga Chinese dun, he was also chatting with his ex through facebook since 2011 pa pala, he never once mentioned about her. They were talking about a lot of things, their sexual exploit nung sila pa, plans on having sex pagbalik nya from China, etc etc. He ended their indecent chats a week before ko malaman ang totoo, but still I found out and sobra akong nagalit but I forgave him.

I was planning everything but a week before her birthday, sumabog na mas malaking bomba. I learned about my husband's cheating and affair. Kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko, I've already wasted 3 months of my life planning on revenge and planting hatred sa heart ko, I don't think it's good for me na.

Dumaan ako ulit sa depression but hubby's there every step of the way unlike nung first few times na inatake ako ng depression, he was there to be patient and to listen sa rants and anger ko. I guess this time he is truly sorry but I can't be too sure.

Paano kung ang ganting gusto ko manlalaki din ako, will that make me happy? Will it finally complete me again? Hindi ko rin sure. Kaya till now magulo parin isip ko.

The more you wallow in misery, the deeper the grave you put yourself into. The more you'll have a hard time getting out of it until you can't no more.
If you want revenge, then the best revenge is to live a better life.
That's my 2cents.

I was crying while reading your post. Kung magrevenge ka or what, I think it's your call. Ako kasi, di ko inisip magrevenge, dagdag stress for me to plan and execute it. I would rather let it go, stay away from the source of hurt and anxiety and focus on healing myself. Hugs and take care, I'll pray for strength to overcome it all and that you have your answers soon.
