Actually, not really obsessed but i like it when mas maputi ako kay fiance kasi chinese sya hahahaha! Ayoko kasi na mas makinis at maputi sya sa akin dahil feeling ko girl ako kaya dapat ako ang mas makinis, maputi hahaha

But I'm still not there. I was obsessed since 2004. (highschool days) I'm still not at the shade I desire to be Kahit laklak2 ng gluta, I just glow.. but hindi maputi like European. I dont match Chantilly, the lightest concealer sa Nars.

Obssessed magpaputi hmmm.. for me mas appropriate na obssessed i maintain ang skin at syempre i level up pa sana ng konti yung glowing. para himatayin na sa inggit mga inggitera kung sino man sila kaloka... mga bully din kasi talaga yung iba kung makapagsabi na maputi ka lang. parang gusto ko isigaw na ehem kahit po pumuti ka di ka gaganda! bad lang, haaay nasa restroom ako ng previous company ko and i don't even know this girl ha nagretouch lang ako tapos sinigawan ba naman ako ng 'MAPUTI KA LANG' ,RAMDAM KO ANG GALIT NI ATE! i have this aura kasi na unapproachable daw pero oh my mababaliw ka kakatawa sakin pag nakilala mo na ko talaga sad lang bakit ganun yung ibang girls...

same here sis.. not obsessed pero yung glowing effect kase habol ko. Maputi din ako pero medyo interesado ako sa mga gluta. Yung maputi ka lang na comment, true yan kala mo naman pag pumuti sila gaganda sila 😊.

^^Lol sis Gumball grabe naman pagka insecure nung babae sa restroom. Na imagine ko, ramdam ko inggit niya hanggang buto. Ako I agree may mga taong nag iiba kapag pumuti, and will probably won't look as good kung paitimin mo sila. Pero sa akin, no need to make such comments. It just shows insecurity. Bakit di na lang kasi maka appreciate di ba?

Ako I would say medyo over na ko dun sa stage before na talagang career ang pagpapaputi. The only thing I never tried was IV gluta, which I almost did. Right now, the only whitening products I use are soap and facial cream. Basta focus ko ngayon to maintain yung youthful skin and glow. Pero hoping  pa rin ako dun sa super pantay na balat. Siguro sa ngayon di ko lang pangarap maging snow white. I haven't checked my mac shade right now. Happy na ko sa nc20. Nc25 ako the last time i checked.

mga sis, i'm just really curious ah, kasi for me "glowing" is different from "maputi". so some people really thought they're one and the same? though admittedly some beauty products use the term "brightening" for nakakaputi. kala ko nga dati "brightening" and "glowing" are kinda similar. i think brightening is much closer to whitening. kasi if you're after the glow, there are products out there that gives the glow without the whitening, that is if ayaw mo na pumuti.

same here sis. may lahing chinese din si hubby. slightly mas maputi sya sa akin. hahaha. e gusto ko, mas maputi dapat ako sa kanya.

Yes for me too different ang glowing from maputi. Glowing for me is healthy and dewy looking skin. Brightening is more for achieving an even-toned skin by lightening or getting rid of the pigmentation. Some products will say whitening or lightening but most of the time it's just for brightening.

Sis NurseOnDuty / iwannabeasupermodel - naalala ko nanaman sya haha. baka ma appreciate ko pa kung whitelady yung sumigaw saken nun, charot! baka himatayin pa ko haha.

Regarding glow, yun talaga yung kakaiba at mahirap iachieve e kasi it's from within madaming factors na dapat iconsider nandyan na yung Aura, supplements, healthy diet/lifestyle , topical creams, lotions, scrubs etc. pero kung white na paper white lang though mahirap din yun I achieve mas appealing for me yung glowing, kahit siguro anong skin tone mo basta glowing bet!

I know someone who's so puti and hindi na maganda yung paleness niya. I may not have paper white skin like her but my skin tone  doesn't look dull and mas may glow compared sa kanya

no. but i am obsessed in achieving even and glowing skin. i agree too na may binabagayan ang pagiging tan or maputi. i hate when people say, ay maganda lang yan kasi she's maputi. yung totoo?

Sobrang obsessed ko! Yung tipong nag palipat pa ako ng shift from 11am to GY shift (9pm) para di maarawan. Kasi feeling ko useless lahat ng tinuturok, nilalaklak at ginagamit ko pag tirik araw ng shift ko papasok sa office. Kahit nga yung tumawid lang ako sa street, need talaga nakapayong. Di ko kaya maexpose sa sunlight ng 2 mins. Haha

^ Siguro if you are distinctly dark or morena, obsession yun. I would call it an ambition even, haha! But if you are already fair-skinned to begin with, and not naman several shades away from looking almost geisha white, improvement lang siguro yun

Okay lang naman na gustong maputi pero nakakagalit ang reason na kaya magpapaputi kasi mukhang madumi or dugyot pag hindi maputi. Mahiya sila kay Bianca Gonzalez, Megan Young, Angel Aquino etc.
