Got a spur of the moment trip to Tokyo next week. I''l be travelling with my 8 and 5 yo girls. Is this feasible?

Day 01: Arrival Tokyo Haneda around 1pm
            Check in at Shibuya hotel. I'm looking into Shibuya Excel (for the location, train stn n crossing) or Cerulean (heard great feedback)
            Visit either Tokyo Tower or Skytree
Day 02: Sanrio Puroland
Day 03: Disney Sea
            transfer to Narita Tobu Hotel
Day 04: some malling in Narita
            return flight back to MNL in the afternoon

Anyone here who tried taking some Japanese Homecooking Classes in Tokyo? I found a few contacts online (travel website), for 2-3 hrs around $70 sya. Sa bahay nung instructor yung class. Pls share if you've done this before. I'm going to Tokyo next week so I'm thinking of making this part of my itin. Para maiba naman

Nag-snow ba dun mga 2nd week of Dec?

Here's our draft itinerary... pa-comment nalang what you think. If feasible or not, esp. yung sequence ng pupuntahan in a day or meron bang di worth it puntahan na dapat palitan nalang namin Thanks!

Day 1
- arrival (noon time)
- check-in
- Ueno Park
- Nakamise shopping street
- Asakusa
- Tokyo Skytree

Day 2
- Disney Sea (whole day)

Day 3
- Yoyogi Park
- Meiji Shrine
- Harajuku
- Shinjuku
- Shibuya

Day 4
- Hakone (whole day)
- may pwede pa ba isingit sa gabi na on the way? Baka madaanan namin pabalik ng Shibuya

Day 5- flight to Manila (noon)

It's our 4th and last night here in tokyo.  We enjoyed it sobra! Naamaze ako sa washlet, trashcan na may sensor, vendo ordering in restos, their confusing but very efficient transpo system (kaya walang traffic!), their local food, and the people.  I had the impression kasi na japanese are intimidating, sobrang serious, etc like how they are portrayed in movies kaya sobra ako natuwa to realize that they are sooo nice.  Everyone's willing to help, very polite, always smiling, etc.

Anyway, just some reminders for our sisses here na pupunta ng japan.

1. The train is really confusing. Make sure to check to check first if the one you're about to ride is local, rapid or semi rapid.
2. Bring powerbank/charger.
3. Always wear comfortable shoes kasi maghapong lakaran talaga.
4. If you're going to Mt. Fuji, DON'T wear a skirt or a dress na pwede liparin.  Sobrang windy! Kanina halos matangay na ko ng wind may mga koreans na nakaskirt, ayun, muntik na makitaan.
5. Bring selfie pod kung dalawa lang kayo
6. Decide first what you wanna do in Japan - sight seeing ba? Shopping? Food trip? This will help if you're travelling for only a few days. Ang dami kasi pwede gawin so it's best to prioritize.

Submitted our docs at Friendship Tours last Monday (I consider myself a first-timer since my last 2 previous Japan trips were only overnight transits in Narita a looong time ago, though I was able to go around the city for a tour) and was able to claim them yesterday (Thursday). All 5 of us were given multiple entry visas. Sinabay ko na submission ng sa parents ko even if sa October pa Osaka trip nila. Mine and my daughters' flight is on Tuesday.

Any feedback on Cerulean Tokyu Hotel vs Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu? Also, is it ok to take my daughters around via train? I've seen some videos on jampacked trains and pushing people like sardines. Waiting for the hotel's reply re private tours. TIA.

^we didnt experience naman that in the train. Usually if it's full, they'll wait for the next train na lang. Mga 1 or 2 japanese lang sumisingit maybe they're in a hurry talaga.

Kids are safe in the train. You just have to be mindful lang when the train opens or closes.

Got back from Tokyo last Friday evening. Super sulit to stay in the Shibuya area. Got me around 15mins to study the train map. True that it is confusing whether it is an express, semi express, JR, subway, etc...It truly was hot the past few days. My umbrella came in handy for the short walk from Tama Center station to Puroland. My daughters had a blast there the whole day. So glad it's an indoor park. Was able to convince my kids we'll just do Disney Sea during cooler weather.

Shibuya Excel Hotel was very convenient to stay at, given the location and all. Medyo expensive nga lang but great if you're travelling with kids. The airport bus stops there, has a view of the crazy Shibuya scramble, and is situated on top of Shibuya Station and Mark City.

Was able to do some CDG Play and tons of Hello Kitty shopping. Plus of course my Starbucks necessities. Stayed in the Narita area overnight, too. Visited Aeon mall together with other flight crew. Nothing much to see there. Was truly amazed at the beautiful kimonos on sale.

hi sis, same ang schedule natin. I think it's still cold in Japan ng January, normal/average temp is 6 degrees, lowest is about 1 degree.  I experienced this weather in SoKor this year and it is indeed cold.

Mas ok ba mag Odaiba nalang than Harajuku?

Magkaiba sila. But if you'd have to choose one, go to Odaiba na kasi mas iba siya. Medyo malayo, pero may beach doon. Andun din ang Gundam Divers City.

Jan and Feb are the coldest months. Now september, magulo panahon minsan sakto lang minsan uulan minsan malamig. transition to autumn na kasi.

about JR Pass kung imamaximize niyo paggamit ng bullet train sulit siya i think.

Odaiba if you are into outlet stores and sightseeing and gundam (modern stuff).

Harajuku if you want to see the Japanese Fashion Culture and other weird stuff. In Harajuku you can also go to Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi park and you also walk to shibuya since there are a lot of small stores from Harajuku to Shibuya.
