hi sis, same ang schedule natin. I think it's still cold in Japan ng January, normal/average temp is 6 degrees, lowest is about 1 degree.  I experienced this weather in SoKor this year and it is indeed cold.

wow, na experience ko na din sa korea nag negative grabe ang lamig haha kaya labas ko sa pic super layer ng damit ang taba hahaha!!! excited na ako for japan mabilis lang naman kumuha ng visa di ba? ano ba mga requirments hehe

when is it convenient to travel to japan? yung hindi mainit, di rin gaano malamig. we would want to travel light sana... is it possible to do it this year? considering na ber-months na?

it is not under the sea though. it is called disney sea, instead of disneyland, coz overall theme is sea-based. dont miss the spectacular night parade!

^ ahahaha... thank you for clarifying sis! hehe will avail of the free shuttle na lang from hotel to disney. hehe mga sis ask ko lang, ano pa pwede namin puntahan sa hapon sa tokyo, aside from the metropolitan bldg or tokyo tower? shinjuku area hotel namin. thanks!!!

Nag apply na kami ng visa kanina, sa thursday pa malalaman kung approve. Hay goodluck samin. Wala masyadong hininging requirements samin:

Passport
Copy ng passbook
Birthcertificate ng anak ko
Marriage certificate
And school letter

Yan lang. Di na nga kinuha yung Hotel and flight booking, binibigay ko di na daw kailangan. Pati employment certificate di rin kinuha.

any suggestion po for lodging within Tokyo na around 3k lang per night? 2 lang po kami ni hubby.
budget lang kasi nmin is 100k for 5days including airfare... enough po kaya yun? if we do not include airfare, will it make much of a difference? ;p

we plan to go to Disney Sea, Sanrio, and other sights.

architect si huuby kaya mas gusto nya temples, old villages etc.

btw, unahin ko po ba visa or tix? di po ba hahanapin ang tix pag nag-apply for visa?

^100K is enough for both of you, sis. that is if walang shopping to the max sa IT nyo.  Try booking.com, that's where I booked, no need to pay during booking, may option pa to pay in cash when you arrive sa Tokyo and you can cancel anytime.

Since, hindi naman hahanapin ang tickets when you apply online, ok naman to book it at a later time pero if you're after booking on a budget, pwede ka na din mag book ahead of time.

i read na yung museums & zoo sa loob is with entrance fee... which po are free? photo opt lang. hehe ;p

^sis ueno park itself is free as in yung park lang. once na pumasok ka na sa zoo or museums may bayad just like any other places. I don't have any idea how much pero madali lang naman yan igoogle.

we plan to visit lang disney sea, sanrio puroland and sightseeing sa mga temples, shrines, food trip; di naman fine dining... if we go to kyoto pa, where can we go there? gusto kasi ni hubby i-try bullet train. haha!
we plan to fly to mla from osaka...
enough kaya 100k namin?
5 days sya leave sa office; 3 days tokyo 2 days kyoto OR 4-1?

I applied for our visas without airline tickets and hotel bookings yet. My kids and I stayed at Shibuya Excel Tokyu Hotel. Room only cost approx Php15k per night. Via agoda pa yan. More expensive if booked directly. We stayed for 2 nights since Puroland, and Shibuya environs lang target namin. But sulit for me sa location, accessibility and facilities. Did the breakfast buffet on Day 2 but hindi sulit with my daughters so I just bought takeout food that night to consume the next morning. Stayed at Narita Tobu Airport Hotel on the 3rd night. Tired-looking and kind of old. And nothing much to do in Narita anyway. This one really for sleeping only.
