Anyone who tried ivory and white bridal gowns?

and i thought i was paying too much for my gown, 50k lang binudget ko, hahaha I got Mak Tumang to do my gown. Simple lang naman yung pinagawa ko. I'm inlove with his work! He recently made 2 gowns for Megan Young if you follow her instagram! Omg, he first asked for 70k. Kaso out of budget talaga i feel like that's a big amount of money for a dress na one day ko lang masusuot.

planning to try out RTW wedding gowns at mi sueno, rosa clara and/or ivory and white. not really planning to buy, just want to try out a few designs that could possibly look good on me. okay lang kaya yun? any suggestions or feedback please? thanks!

^ I think it's ok, just don't tell them na gusto mo lang magsukat  . Parang ganyan nangyari sa akin, pero may plan naman ako na bumili talaga if may swak sa budget. I tried many RTW gown only to decide na papagawa na lang ako kase same lang din price ng customize at RTW na gown na gusto ko.

My only problem is October 2015 pa wedding namin, okay lang ba na kunin ko na by feb?

^ no prob i think sis as long as you can maintain your weight on that day.. and you can preserve the gown like brand new sya..

^as much as i dont want to get the gown yet, ganon kasi ang gusto nila eh, since RTW, need na daw kunin after 1-2weeks nila mafinish.

my friend is getting married in january 2015. yung isang friend ko ang secondary sponsor but couldn't make it kasi na assign for work abroad. i volunteered as her replacement para free na yung gown. madami kasi ako gastusin and i don't have a long gown. but unfortunately for secondary sponsors niya kanya kanya daw yung gown. pwede ba yung ganun? now mas lalo tuloy malaki problem ko kasi aside from buying a long gown need pa na maganda yung gown kasi nga part ng entourage.

nasasayangan kasi ako bumili ng gown na i will only wear once. siyempre pag may ikakasal ulit hindi naman pwede na yun ulit ang isusuot kong gown. pwede ba mag backout? madami kasi ako gastos and i'm scheduled to travel in january din. ano kaya best way?

i hope brides to be here won't get mad at me. hindi ko lang kasi talaga inexpect na hindi shoulder ng bride yung ibang ento. thanks in advance.

It's not new that entourage members pay for their dresses. This usually happens pag tipid mode yung couple.

Actually, when you volunteered, you should have been honest na part ng intention mo free gown mo😛 right then and there sabihin naman ng bride not free eh di out ka na.

Pwede naman mag back out. I don't think there would be any better way but to tell your friend the truth. Mas maaga sabihin mas ok para makahanap na si bride ng solution.

Sis amethyst028 close ka ba talaga sa couple, close enough to be their secondary sponsor?
Kasi based from what you said you only wanted to take on the role because you were expecting to get a free gown in the process and thus you wont need to buy yourself a gown for the wedding. And now na you realized they wont give you one, you're thinking of backing out. I think medyo mali ang intentions mo maging secondary sponsor nila sis. Kawawa naman sila if that is all it means to you.

Most entourage members who are asked to pay for their own gown or makeup or shoes will do so because they love and support the couple and even if they wanted to get a free gown and didnt, they'll accept the role still. As for you, dapat mas maaga ka nalang nagback out para naman naging considerate ka na may time pa sila palitan ka. But given na almost end Dec na and the wedding is in January, if I were in your place i would just bear the cost of getting a gown and not backout as a secondary sponsor, to be considerate sa couple. Kesa magcause pa ako ng problems for them. Just my opinion. Says a lot about you how you decide to manage the situation kasi.

^agree with sparklingjewel. If you back out, bibigyan mo ng panibagong stress ang couple kasi twice na may magbback out for that role. Eh next month na yung wedding. Saka sis, minsan talaga, lalo na ngayon, shoulder na ng ento yung gowns eh. Kasi willing ang ento members to spend for the bride/groom that they support and love. Sana pala sis nilinaw mo muna sa couple kung sino sagot sa gown. Or, singilin mo na lang kaya yung nag back out? Hehe

Your other options would be: mang hiram ng gown or mag pagawa sa divi (but advice the couple). May thread dito for cheap mananahi ng gowns sa divi.

hinde kaya sya  madumihan sis? nung nagsusukat ako ng RTW gowns eto isa kong dilemma eh. Kase pag inuwi ko agad possible na mangitim yung tela nya kahit pa naka-plastic sya. Pumayag naman sila na kunin ko day before yung gown pero pansin ko yung mga gowns na nakasabit medyo madumi na rin.

hi sis! ako din October 2015 pa ang wedding and I got an RTW din for my bridal gown. I already have my gown pero ang advise lang sakin is to keep it in the dress bag that it came with and also sundin yung instructions on how it is supposed to be hung.

hi thanks sa mga nag reply. actually ok lang for me to pay for the gown kung sila mapapatahi and design nila. but it's kanya kanya kasi and i have no idea what to wear. i guess when i volunteered i thought ok lang kahit singilin ako at least i don't have to think of what to wear anymore. and it would be fun to be a part of another wedding since she's 2nd to the last of my friends who will get married not really just for the gown.

hindi naman siya nagtitipid kasi 2 ang gown niya. she has a gown for the ceremony then change outfit sa reception. ang mangyayari talaga iba iba ang outfit ng secondary sponsors depende sa kanila what they want to wear basta long gown.


i told her na di nako mag volunteer na sub pero ayaw na pumayag wala na kasi siya makuha. we're not super close more on barkada since nagkakasama kame na gumimik during our 20's kaso hindi na siya sumasama samin kasi ang trip nya mga clubbing which hindi na namin gusto since most of us mga mother na and lahat halos married na.

i went gown hunting the other day. may mga nakita akong ok kaya lang not sure kung sakto lang siya baka kasi yung iba over na. and i want something kasi na simple lang. her only rule was ok lang any color huwag lang white and huwag mas bongga pa sa bride. so many choices nakaka confuse pumili.

Pero kung ako yung bride, hinde na kita pipilitin. I won't even mention kung ano magiging impact nito sa wedding ko. I have a bridesmaid na bestfriend ko pa, tapos nagback-out. I'm not convince with her reasons, parang naba-babawaan ako. So sabi ko ok lang, after nun naghanap ako ng kapalit but ang hirap palitan ng pwesto nya. Na-delay yung invitations dahil dito. usto ko kase talagang close ko yung ipapalit ko. I settle for 2 bridesmaids na sana kahit pa I have to pay the whole ento gown kase yun ang nasa contract. But in the end yung pinsan ko na lang ang pumalit, since ok naman kaming 2 and willing naman sya.

mga sis, are there any other suppliers of infinity gowns for bridesmaids like cheesecake? gusto ko kasi talaga ganito pero wala akong mapagpilian kasi puro si cheesecake lang ang nakikita kong kilala when it comes to infinity dresses. parang okay naman yung price, i just want sana may options.

sis bzbee, nung nagikot kami sa divisoria sa may ilaya to buy fabrics, may mga pwesto dun that sells infinity gowns pero made of silk and chiffon nga lang and not jersey.  Pero yung dress may mga beading na and can be worn in so many ways.  750 ang knee length and 1000(last price is 850  ) pag full length.
