Here's my dilema, girls:

I was already set on this designer and was going pay a dp this week. But, since I started  asking feedback from people I know who have worked with this designer, I came to learn that not all her gowns are that well sewn. Like on the the date itself some bridesmaids dresses had to be repaired bec. sleeves and such were coming off bec it wasnt sewn well. btw this was the feedback from 2 diff weddings ha, one was the bride herself and another feedback from a bridesmaid in a diff wedding the same designer handled.

However, in all fairness daw the designs are nice daw, and the fit is good. Designer also seems to deliver gowns in time.

Would u still book a supplier like this? Ganda ng designs talaga but she quoted me 1ook for brides gown din, and parang for that price I would expect superior quality!!

Should I look for another designer ? I wonder if I am honest and tell her the feedback, if she can assure me she will do execute the gowns well? What would u do?

I would go for the quality, that's what sets the well known designers now apart from their counterparts. Designing is only the first part and since their names are sewn on the gown, the quality control should be good.

I suggest look for another designer. That's just my 2 cents.

thanks sis! I was so happy pa naman I found a designer already. Sayang lang bec shes new and young and is really becoming very in demand and popular. I feel she will make it big real soon.

But as u said sis ZoZ,  quality control should be good, and I agree. her bead work and embroidery has excellent quality, its the garment construction thats a fail. Sigh... sad!!

In my opinion, oh well dahil ako'y isang kuripot na bride, you should also consider yung sa quality ng gowns for bridesmaids, if you will go that price, the next question is, masusuot pa ba ng BM mo yung gowns nila for other occasions?
Ayyy parang lumayo na yung sinabi ko sa dilemma mo.. basta stay ka sa quality sis, lalo na kung di biro ang price ng gown na binayad mo..
I remember nung nag-abay ako sa isang friend, sa designer din kami nagpatahi ng gown, what we did is parang bride din kami na nakailang fitting (3 ata), no regrets kami kahit medyo mahal ng onti yung gowns namin kasi it fits well and the design is approved namin.. so ganun na rin gawin mo para sure na ok ang gowns ng BMs mo

thank u sis for the advice!  tama, dapat quality talaga, kasi sayang naman. Esp since bridesmaids' gown start at 1ok up each din. Ill pm u the name of he designer nalang sis.

woah 10k each pala BM mo... yung quote sa akin nung designer na napili ko (tho di ko pa nabbook) is 4k each lang, partida namamahalan pa ako nun.. ni PM ko sayo yung napili ko na designer

hello SG brides! just wanna share with you my excitement!
i already have a designer in phils but i am searching kase for bridal designers in SG to try on their gowns and para malaman na rin how much ang cost ng gowns dito.. i went to orchard central and delfi orchard.. daming gowns sa delfi orchard, halos tatlong floors yata eh puro bridal designer/shops.. i was able to try vera wang gowns din..  but as expected mahal ang mga gowns sa delfi orchard (around $4K ang minimum ng custom-made).
so kanina, pumunta ako ke vivian gown at sobrang natuwa ako kase andami ko naisukat na gowns na sakto ang fit sakin.  From the classic ball gown, to the mermaid cut, to the frou frou gowns, naisukat ko lahat.. saya! na-excite ako! sobra pa siyang accommodating! haha
and the best thing is, her price is very reasonable.. mas okay ang price niya compared kina mel orlina or von lazaro.. at angganda din ng works niya.. so if you're considering getting your gowns here in SG, i recommend her..

and the prices are reasonable ah.

i'm still very conflicted kung magdi-divi gown ako or designer gown na ang starting rate for gowns ay 20k. sa totoo lang mejo mabigat sa loob ko na gumastos ng 20k for a wedding gown. pero syempre iba pa rin ang feeling pag designer gown kase mas control mo yung process kahit papano at mahirap naman talaga makipagsapalaran sa divi.
sabe ko a few months back na sa november ko na proproblemahin ang gown pero ngayong september na mejo kinakabahan na ko. ayayayay.

^20k isn't bad na rin sis f878 to think na ang MTO niya is expensive and yung RTW under his line talaga is also expensive.. for sure next year magtataas ule ng prices lahat. and maganda naman yung designs in fairness!

Hi, girls! Meron na ba dito nakapagtry na sa Haute Lifestyle Manila? Yung custom-made ng apartment 8? Magkano price range nila para sa beaded gowns? Yung pang matron of honor/mother/maid of honor? Parang okay kasi yung beadings nila. Kaya lang baka mamaya super mahal naman.
