Has anyone tried Aliexpress yet?

I've tried Aliexpress several times na and so far ayos naman ang transactions.

I have bought multiple items from Aliexpress - so far no problems naman. Some have been held up at customs. others have not. Most aliexpress sellers will undervalue so there's usually no taxes. if its excessive amount (in terms of pieces as commercial quantity has gone to 6 pieces and above unlike before na 10) then for sure mahohold sa customs. Pero usually naman you can just stick to your guns on whatever the seller declared - if its from china the customs is set at 10% talaga as thats the Phiiippines China Trade Agreement ever since. In my experience wag nyo dalhin yon invoice nyo. Tataas pa the tax.

Mga sis pahelp naman. I recently bought a dress from Aliexpress. It was shipped by the seller July 21. Sa tracking, ang status pa rin "enroute to delivery office". Do I just wait or for pick up na yun sa Post Office? TIA!

^ It depends. Here in Davao I just wait for the post office delivery man to deliver the package and I pay 112 for tax. I also tried claiming when I can't wait.

i wait for the card na nanggagaling sa post office bago pumunta. matagal ang delivery lalo na kapag free shipping ang item. at lalo na kung sa christmas season, matatagalan lalo.

@itlogspambot Average for me is 30 days. Sometimes meron mabilis dumating, mga 2 weeks lang. Pero majority of my purchases arrive after 1 month after the seller ships them. Kung pupunta ka ng post office, make sure to bring ID!

^Thank you sis, I got my item na! Haha malapit na mareturn to sender kasi antagal na pala sa Post Office buti nahagilip ko number nila. Sabi nila, if its purchased online & was not declared as gift talagang pick up daw. Pero pag sinend siguro ni seller as gift dun lang daw sila nagdedeliver. I only paid 112 petot. Not bad for a first time. Dahil dyan umorder ako ulet, atleast this time alam ko na gagawin ko.

Hi i ordered shades, Three pieces ganun ba talaga yun? Kahit same mo binili yung mga items from  different suppliers they ship with different dates? .. i  chose china registered mail

i've no aliexpress shopping experience but i suggest anybody out there want to shopping without credit card, use smart money(mastercard network) instead, it is safe because you can lock all online transaction with smart money using only your phone(smart phone or classic cellphone). with this you can pay aliexpress whatever amount it is, because upon reading this thread i noticed that one sis complaining the minimum cash that can be transfer to western union. wishing this post will help, i used smart money more than 4 years and i like its security feature.

contact the seller 1st bago mag order, ask for shipping rates ng door to door niya wag EMS wag Post office, saka mag order,
minsan kasi yun custom sa post office grabe manigil and sungit pa nila, sa EMS nasa may domestic po ang baksak hai traffic and ang layo

Mga sis enroute to delivery office na status ng package ko? Paano malalaman if pwede na ba ipick up yung parcel from post office??

^Sis try calling your nearest Post Office. Yung sa 'kin antagal ko bago naisip yan eh so antagal natengga nung package ko andun na pla.

Since alibaba group of companies has bought lazada... if your are buying something worh 1k++ try comparing prices muna sa lazada. Maliit na lang yung difference, at least free shipping na and your don't have to deal with post office handling fee of 112 pesoses.

And the items arrive a week faster.

It's fine. Although Lazada is just better overall, in my opinion.

may mga items sa aliexpress na hindi available sa lazada.

it's my 3rd time to order from aliexpress and so far yung first 2 transactions ko ok naman matagal nga lang halos 1month or more pa minsan and if you buy from different sellers iba rin yung date of arrival kaya p112 kada punta sa post office.

i use eon visa card para ma control ko ang pag purchase. i only deposit money on my card pag may bibilhin or mag a-abroad ako. most of the time less than p100 lang laman niya para iwas hacking.

^no maintaining balance kasi parang credit card siya. you can load it kung kailangan mo ako may mga ilang months din na less than p100 and laman niya and ok lang. may renewal siya kasi nag e-expire din parang credit card. it really looks like a credit card, visa siya, so accepted din siya abroad.

you can go to unionbank website or try to call their hotline and inquire about it. i have mine for 4years na para iwas over spending on my part. kahit sa app store eto rin gamit ko so i don't worry na baka nag buy na yung anak ko ng kung ano-anong app pati uber i use this too. OT na ata.
