sa experience lang namin ni hubby ha, we eat/snack on almonds to feel full (hindi ata okay ang peanuts). ok rin ata yung kasoy pero grabe hindi ko matigilan, nakakatakam kasi, so wag na yun.

as far as i know, if you eat protein in the morning (like eggs) mas normal ang level ng sugar sa body throughout the day so less cravings. ang bilis rin magpagutom ng carbs like pizza, noodles, bread, rice, biscuits such as skyflakes.

banana works for hubby but you have to drink a lot of water. your body needs it anyway so i guess okay lang.

Tinola,Steamed fish, and steamed beans palang nattry ko. Wala pa ako gaanong knowledge or alam na recipe for low calorie. Search lang ako ng search haha

Broccoli works best for me. Watermelon or cantaloupe naman sa mga fruits. Apples, for some reason, do not make me feel full.

ngayon nag-green smoothies ako! my main reason is actually so that i can eat more veggies and mas okay na fresh veggies eh. tapos i add apples, banana, melon etc. gusto ko kasi gumanda skin ko and to look much better. parang secondary reason na lang ang pumayat. and pansin ko pag yun kinain ko di ako madaling magutom and parang mas maraming energy ko. i eat it as meal replacement hehe. though i still eat 1/2 of a can of tuna for my protein and fat. fat is not really bad, esp if maliit lang kasi it paces yung digestion plus it increases your satiety so ayun.

Or as is lang na hot water for instant oatmeal?

^^ Hi sis, I googled it, sounds interesting. Or do I need to use instant oatmeal. And yung water ba need na mainit or kahit tap water lang? Salamat!

^ ang mabilis kasi talaga sis is instant oatmeal i havent researched yet sa mga steelcut/rolled etc variant. Ako minsan i use almond milk instead of water then add honey. Basic lang pero masarap ;)

Keep the suggestions coming, sissies. :) I'm fond of prepping my meals for the week, so very helpful yung tips nyo on steamed beans and broccoli(love broccoli!!).

I always have regrigerated/overnight oatmeal. Very convenient talaga for me(no cooking needed). I prepare it the night before and in the morning kukunin ko nalang sa ref and eat! I even take it with me para makapag breakfast ako sa work. Very filling and very healthy, better than instant oats na naka sachet(na-uumay ako nito and ang taas pa ng sugar content). Never going back to sachet oatmeals. Apples and cinnamon go very well with oatmeals, btw.

^^ if I may sis, no need na iluluto pag overnight oatmeal. Kase ibababad mo ng matagal sa milk so the oats absorb it and mag-plump sila. Just make sure to use rolled oats. Steel cut oats won't work with overnight oatmeal. Tap water lang sis. I even use cold milk. :D If you're trying to stay away from dairy, I recommend hazelnut chocolate milk. Parang nutella, only healthier. Nagugutom tuloy ako. Haha! I actually made a basic recipe about this a week ago. Haha. You can check it out sis: http://rawrbie.com/hooray-for-breakfast-enter-overnight-oatmeal/

If you eat a healthy, filling breakfast, you won't be craving so much for the rest of the day, no binge eating either.

^ Masarap talaga yung oatmeal sis. :D I heard steel cut oats are creamier so I think I'll buy it since pa-ubos na yung rolled oats ko.

Also, make your own granola bars. Merong mga no bake recipes if wala kayong oven. Make sure lang na low calorie, high in protein and fiber yung recipe na i-ffollow nyo. :)

Smoothies are also good. Healthy pa!

^ Thanks Sis!

^^ Meron din rolled oats ang Quacker sis, but I haven't tried it. Personally, I buy Bob's Red Mill Rolled Oats, sa Healthy Options. 150 pesos lang for 16 oz. Super sulit sis. :) Mataas yung sugar content sis, if you buy those chocolate ones. Pag regular, medyo okay lang but nakakaumay kase. And I prefer to tweak the flavors and control what goes in sa oatmeal ko kaya I make my own. Hindi din ako nabubusog sa instant oatmeal. Most of the content sa sachet ay powder kase. Pag rolled oats, mabubusog ka talaga, high fiber kase.

Just to give you comparison(Per serving):

Instant (Sachet) VS Rolled Oats
12g VS 1g Sugar
2g VS 4g Fiber
27g VS 27g Carbs
3g VS 7g Protein

:)

Original din yun not the flavored one.

^ I add fruits din sakin sis. Sometimes, i'll put in dark chocolate shavings. You can microwave your rolled oats sis, para na din syang instant hehe. Before ko na discover tong overnight oatmeal, madali talaga akong maumay. Ewan ko ba, maybe it's because of the texture. Pag instant or stove top cooked rolled oats, medyo mushy kase yung dating, as compared to overnight oats na may konting texture.

^^I tried din the rolled oats sis overnight.
