Lito din ako. Last time I went here, we stayed at Zhongxiao Fuxing which I liked. This time, we're thinking of staying in Ximending, pero sabi nung isa kong cousin di niya daw enjoy masyado dun.

Ngayon iniisip ko Xinyi kasi dun yung mga malls diba? Hahaha Ano ba yung parang TST / Orchard road ganun ng Taipei?

may booking na ako isang hotel sa zhongshang district. Pero i will most likely cancel and book an airbnb apartment instead. I just couldnt decide yet on what area to stay at. Hay oo nga san ba yung parang TST area?

Hi. I'll be in Taipei from Oct 4-11. What clothes kaya would be best to bring. Last time I was there was in June so I have no idea if cold season na ba yung October? Thanks in advance! excited to eat na. Love their foodie..

ang ganda ng Taiwan except Taipei hehe. Yung last day lang minalas kami dahil malakas na ulan. Favorite ko ang Nantou country. sulit ang byahe  We used our japan visa instead of applying Taiwan visa. hehe

^sa Royal Hotel kami nagstay. Maganda ang location nya less than 5 mins to Taipei main station. Malinis at bago pa ang room.   buffet style ang breakfast nila pero konti lang ang choices.

This is true I live in Taipei but I love the countryside more. The countryside has so much character and a different vibe. Taipei is a bustling city, but visiting it still offers a unique experience, or charm, as compared to say, Hong Kong or Singapore. It has a good balance of modern and ancient to say the least

^sis, recommend how to go out the city? What place maganda puntahan? Will be staying kasi for 8 days there, naisip ko baka ma bored lang parents ko sa tagal if sa taipei lang ikot namin. Hahaha.

^Sis, I recommend Sun Moon Lake, Hehuanshan, and Cinjing.

sis yanah12 ok yang 8days, madami na kayo mapupuntahan.  Visit Sun moon lake, Cingjing, Yehliu(etc).  you can hire private car or taxi since may kasama kang senior.

Cingjing then Hehuanshan, Hualien, or you can take the High Speed train to Kaohsiung, You can also go to Yilan... or explore Jiufen-Keelung in one day...

Wow. Thanks for the tips. Wala pa nga ako hotel in Taipei. Haha. Pero if ever, paano ang Transportation going to sun moon Lake, cinjing and huehuanshan from Taipei area?  Magkakalapit lang ba yung 3? Need din namin mag overnight dun?

When we went to cingjing and he huan shan from last February, we took the bus lang (i think there was a promo with e-go bus company at the time, it was only NT$ 1400-1600 if i remember it right. ride is around 3 hours). We got off at Cingjing, booked a hostel, then signed up for a he huan shan tour with our hostel the next day.

If you include sun moon lake, it may be better if you take the local or high speed train to nantou, then from there may mga bus siguro na papuntang cing jing (not sure which bus number and which bus company, pero if mag overnight kayo in sun moon lake, you can ask your hotel to help you book).
