Lyca is good but walang versatility, you will always hear Aegis in any song she sings which limits her song choices. Diction is bad but understandable and she can be trained. Sayang, Darren was really ready.

Darren didn't need to join the competition, he can go directly sa producers and he can highly likely get a contract

JK, I love his attitude. Maganda "pagpapalaki" sa kanya ni Bamboo. Before the announcement ng winner, nagtatawanan lang sila, cool lang (although parang kinakabahan din yata si Bamboo). When Lyka was announced as the winner, he hugged her. Nung iyak ng iyak si Darlene, he hugged her too.

Darlene, baby pa talaga. Of course, compared to Darren and JK, mas bata nga naman sha. Pero sana, hindi naman sha ma discourage. Yan kase nakakatakot sa mga bata na sumasali ng competition e.

Hindi ko din bet si Lyka, although that was expected na. Si Sarah, grabe ang campaign sa popsters, lol. Naisip ko din, since ABS was not transparent about the vote results (walang numbers, just rank), hindi kaya may input din ang ABS? Baka naghahanap sila ng itatapat ng ABS sa GMA (ryzza mae, kase same ang story nila).

Whether it's politics or showbiz, Filipinos like underdogs. Parang sa mga pelikula ni FPJ, kahit kelan di nanalo si Paquito Diaz or Eddie Garcia kay FPJ. Not saying that Darren is the contrabida because the boy really deserved to win kaya lang I think the Filipino audience felt that Lyca needed the victory more than Darren. Si Lyca ang makabagong Ate Guy, ang bulilit version ni Manny Pacquiao. She is someone that the masses can identify with and draw inspiration from.

I'm sure ABS-CBN would know how to handle and chart this child's career. Sana lang ma-handle nang maayos ng family nila ang new-found fame and fortune ng bata. Sana wag naman mapunta sa wala ang pinagpaguran ng bata. Sana maging Cheng Muhlach or Mommy Caring Seguerra ang parents ni Lyca. Even if Nino Muhlach and Aiza started working at a very young age, they made sure that there was a trust fund that was set aside for the their future. Sana magkaroon ng chance si Lyca to go to school to improve herself and prepare for the future. Fame is not forever. Even the brightest stars fade at one point or another.

As for Darren and JK, these boys were obviously raised well and have the right values. They both graciously accepted the results and i think that in an interview Darren said that he will give the house to Lyca if he wins because she really wants it. Such a magnanimous spirit at a very young age. They will for sure have their own careers even if they did not win. What about a Darren - Mariz & JK - Loisa tandem? Puede? Whatcha all think?

Give it a time, lyca can be honed on her diction and everything. For her age, magaling siya.
Si Darren, sisikat talaga yung bata manalo o matalo because he already has the talent. Maganda ang upbringing ni Darren pati, kahit laki sa Canada may puso yung bata. With that attitude, may pupuntahan.

i wish simon cowell was the one to judge the 4 The Voice Kids contestant.  kasi siya
he bases it sa merit lang talaga,  wala sa mga puti ang mga sob sob stories.  he can point it out if one is on key or off key.
having said that, whoever got the most votes won, so si Lyca yon.  what i don't understand is every site i go to, puro darren darren daw ang dapat nanalo.  so why didn't you guys vote him in?
i watched a short clip of each contestant singing, and for me lyca is the only one na hindi sintunado,  the 3 were.  sorry opinion ko lang ito.  and i'm not tone-deaf.
the other girl has no business being in the finals.

May text confirmation pala if your vote was counted. I suddenly feel bitter about it na. Thinking it could have happened to a lot of other voters. I was charged for my votes but I did not receive any confirmation that they were counted. I know that I voted right after they opened the voting. How many votes kaya were not counted? Could it have changed who won?

mas may violent reaction ako siguro kung si Darlene ang nanalo. kasi out of the 4, she's the most vocally weak.

Not because Lyca can't sing well in English, can't dance and doesn't have JK, Darren, and Darlene's charm, it doesn't mean she didn't deserve to be the champion. (Just to be clear, I am not a Lyca fan. From the beginning, I think I was pretty clear who my bet was.) Lyca did not win because of her sob story. Lyca won because she can sing.

Anyways, I found the video where Lyca was jumping because of too much joy(I think that was after she was declared winner and after she sang Narito Ako), JK hugged her one more time.

haayyy hanggang ngayon di pa din ako maka-move on. I really supported Darren .ang pinagtataka wala akong confirmation na nakuha sa sun. pero sa globe lang meron. saying naman ang votes ko kung di nagging counted yun 2 sun sims pa naman ginamit ko para lang makapagbigay ng text votes for Darren. I was really praying hard na sya sana ang manalo. sobrang bilib ako kase sa batang ito. nun ia-announce na winner kinabahan ako ng yun cam mafocus kay lyca parang may sign eh na sa kanya ibibigay. well my instinct was right. hay abs parating ganyan na lang strategy nyo. any news whats up with Darren now. ramdam ko yun lungkot nya iyak sya ng iyak after the winner had been announced.

Until now affected pa rin ang mommy ko sa pagkatalo ni Darren for us talaga he is the real winner.

Sa mga pacontest dito sa Pinas asahan na naten basta you have a sad story sure na sure mapupunta sa finals and will eventually win.

I hope we still see more of him sana mamayagpag ang singing career niya. Gusto ko si Darren kasi ang sarap niya panoorin plus magaling talaga.

So... everyday ko na sinisilip yung IG ni Darren. I feel like a silly teenager. Hahahahaha! Super like ko kasi yung face nya, maaliwalas. And his attitude too. And kid can really sing.

I personally think Lyca won because of her story, her votes, and her singing ability - dahil meron naman talaga. For a kid her age to carry those tunes in the way she does, you can really say she's talented. BUT, I say she won over Darren not because of that, but because she had the advantage of the first (story). And totoo naman, we Filipinos love a sob story, I do too. JK had a sob story too, and he was a way better singer than Lyca, but why did he only land in third place? Because there was another boy his age in the running for champion, that was Darren, and he won over JK pagdating sa singing ability. And siempre, mas may impact yung story and yung charm nung batang maliit

Sa akin, Lyca won the title and the prize - But man, Darren won everyone else over. I am starting to believe the 'votes conspiracy theory', dahil ilang beses din ako bumoto right after the vote lines were opened, at waley walang confirmation at all. Kung nangyari yun say, sa 200 or more pang tao, how do we know our votes were counted? Did this 'event' also happen for votes for the other contestants (Lyca, JK or Darlene?) Kung oo, bakit walang umaapila?

Pero water under the bridge na yan - hayaan na natin kay Lyca yung napanalunan nya, and wish her the best in her career. I don't get why people blame Sarah though. What exactly did she do (or not do) that should have people blaming her? She coached the kids, she encouraged her huge fanbase to vote for both - I mean really - why blame her?  Favoritism? I didn't see an ounce of that at all. She gushed and went crazy for both her kids. Not once did I 'sense' that Lyca is her favorite.

About Darren going back to Canada, may mga nagconfirm na close to him (read through social networking lang din) na he won't leave for as long as there are good offers here. And I'm pretty sure there would be a lot. Kid trended on Twitter just because people didn't want him to leave. If ABSCBN does not see him as a potential star for the station, ay ewan ko na. They don't even have to make effort to build a fanbase for him. Konting training na lang, and more build-up sa image - and he's ready for ASAP, concerts, an album.

^If you think about it, pwede din na blessing kay Darren na hindi hsa nanalo - hindi nya kailangan maging exclusive sa ABS, pwede sha pumili ng manager and producer nya, diba?

Mukhang di nanalo si Darren para hindi siya sa MCA Universal gagawa ng recording kundi sa Star Magic, LOL. This is just my guess.

Akala ko ako lang nakahalata sa pag-pabor ni Sarah kay Lyca. I can't say it's favoritism kasi nakita ko 'yung admiration niya kay Darren. You know, very transparent si Sarah when it comes to her emotions. However, nung Sunday nga e nakatutok talaga ako sa TVK kaya natandaan ko lang na si Lyca talagang in-encourage ni Sarah ang Popsters na suportahan by voting for her. Siguro naawa din si Sarah kay Lyca. Pero ate'ng ate din naman siya kay Darren at proud whenever he performs.

Bumoto ako kay Darren kaya nakaka-sad di nanalo ang binoto ko. Anyway, love na love ko 'tong batang 'to for being so grounded kahit pa laking ibang bansa.

Lyca is very talented. Hands down naman talaga ako sa kanya.. Pero IMO, we cannot deny na malaking factor na hirap sya sa buhay, even physically kitang kita naman. It helped her in a way.

Given na talented sya. Walang question don.
