Best Sunblock [Thread 5]
« on: May 04, 2014, 12:59:04 pm »
New thread mga sis!

All about sunblocks (for face and body).

FACE
Currently Using:
Matte-Finish Sunblock SPF 45 - Bought from derma. OK for me. No breakouts whatsoever.
Hamilton SUPERBLOCK Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Milk SPF 80 - Also bought from derma. Same effects as Matte-Finish Sunblock but can be a bit greasy.

BODY
Tried:
Beach Hut MAX Clear Spray Sunblock SPF 75++ - Spray-on. A bit sticky for me. Only used for a while during outing.
Snoe Here Comes The Sunblock Instant White SPF 45 - Instant whitening effect but not permanent. Hard to spread. Causes uneven skin tone if not spread evenly.

Currently Using:
Banana Boat SPORT Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 PA+++ - Not sticky. Not oily. Smell is a bit unpleasant but tolerable.

Kayo mga sis? Ano sunblock gamit nyo?

For everday use. Same sayo sis yung napansin ko.

Finally tried the much-raved Belo sunblock. Mukhang OK nga sya. No greasy feel. Compared to Hamilton Superblock Sunscreen Milk, I noticed less oil after a few hours. ;)

Ilan months usually nagtatagal yung isang tube when used for the face only? I'll be using Banana boat for my neck and arms. Kasi I'll be out of the country for a few months. Para alam ko ilan dadalhin ko. :)

Body :

Face :
Nivea collagen protect spf 50 - good, sya gamitin pag mag sswim.

Kaso malagkit pag everyday gagamtin parang oil based kasi sya. Hirap imaintain.

Ano kaya maganda gamitin pang araw araw pag papasok sa office?

Belo sunblock user here! Naku nakailang bottles na ako since the old packaging pa. One bottle lasts mga 3 or 4 months for the face kung everyday. :D

Thanks sis chuy.

For the face, Shiseido Perfect UV Protector is effective in keeping skin from getting dark. Used for a vacation abroad (tropical country too) where I was almost under the sun for the entire time, and my face retained its original complexion. Super light, not moisturizing though, can be a bit drying.

For the body, I used Belo Sun Expert Transparent Mist and unfortunately di effective. No sunburns naman but I think I went two-three shades darker. :(
