Styling and Costing

I sent an inquiry to around 12 different stylists. I have received 8 replies so far. Most expensive quote I got was from She Dreams in Ink. I do love their work but I don't think we will splurge that much on the styling.

Cheapest quote I got was from Styled by Deiz. As in 10k cheaper than the others. I am seriously considering getting her na 😁

The event won't be until this September so I will just wait for the reply from the other stylists.

Question: is 40k a realistic styling budget for a party for 200pax (kids included)? Too much? Too little?

^How much did Gids quote you for your party? He also did our wedding but i havent asked him for a quote on my son's first birthday, baka ma heart attack lang ako sa price.

^no quote yet from Gids 😁 I don't think I will get him this time. I am pretty sure his rate has tripled since our wedding in 2012. Waaaay out of budget na. Will let you know 😊

My budget is 40K as well for the same amount of people, so hopefully reasonable! Though the stylists should describe to you the inclusions in their quotations. Do you mind sharing the contacts/emails of the stylists you've listed (except for Spark + Twinkle), I'm also canvassing for my son's birthday.

Anyone who has an idea how much partystation charges? They are the ones who havent given me a quotation eh.

Kidstarkastles quoted me 45k for 80pax and 20kids but my venue is kinda big, mga good for 200.

^^ Would like to ask for the same thing.  I was quoted 35k, for a specially made backdrop daw pero yung inclusions niya sakin hindi specific, balloons, pillars - Pero not so nice yung mga photos nila so medyo worried ako na binobola lang ako

Our budget is only 100k for 100pax - my daughter's 7th and son's 8th bday. Pinagsabay na nga namin para masmatipid.

^depende sa gusto niyo sis. Meron din naman around 20k. There are some suppliers who can work on your budget.

I wish to know if anyone here has experience with them so I know their style.  As you can see in their fb page, they either use the beauty and the beast or the princess theme, paulit ulit na ang design. If I want my own design, 35k daw yun which includes centrepieces, balloons, pillars, swags etc.  I feel that they weren't being specific and were not making suggestions so I'm worried na hindi kami pareho ng taste.  It's also very easy to claim they can do this and that, and not deliver. 

Would appreciate some feedback. Just pencil booked the church and this monday, we will get na the clubhouse din. This one nalang then food tasting at verleo and we are good to go.

Try The Party People Party Organizers (sa FB). They are flexible and can work on your budget. Basta you just let Patty know kung ano gusto mo, the expectations, etc. Sasabihin naman nya kung kaya with the budget or hindi. If hindi kaya, you can agree on the adjustments.

Got them for my daughter's binyag last year, and sila ulit magsa-style sa upcoming 1st birthday ng baby ko.

You can also check out the Kids Party Hub, Ribbons and Laces, and Styled by Deiz. These 3 gave the most affordable quote based on my peg for my daughter's baptism. Kaso may caterer has an in-house stylist na pala so i opted to get them na lang. But if my caterer doesnt have any stylist, i would definitely get Kids Party Hub.

For kid's birthday diba halos puro ganun lang naman talaga?  Included na diyan supposedly yung mga centerpieces and decors pero wala pa ko nababasa na talagang naging client na nila so nag dadalawang isip ako sa 35k na yan.

Fixed po sila sa starting na 35k e sayang super ganda pa naman ng gawa nila talaga. budget ko lang is 20k sana.

^ nope, not fixed ang sa Party People. You can talk to them to let them know of your budget and ask them if it is workable. I think 20k is manageable basta di naman exxag ang pegs mo for the styling..

Nakausap ko na po sila, hindi daw pwede. 35k daw ang starting nila. Super ganda pa naman talaga ng gawa nila. Nag ask din ako if possible yung 20k pag nagawa na nila yung theme na yun since may gamit na sila hindi daw talaga

^ awww, nag-iba na pala sila ng policy.. bago lang siguro yan kasi yung sa akin e nagbigay ako ng theme, pegs, number of guests, etc. Then she gave me a qoute.. tapos nag-nego ako na babaan konti, pumayag naman.

I like Party People kasi medyo swak kami ng gusto at ayaw. Like di ako mahilig sa ma-balloons, ayaw ko ng mga styro, etc.
