Checked out new shows
Stalker and
Mulaney. I thought Stalker was alright at first, but after the first half of the episode, nawalan na ako ng interest. Will check the second one though, baka naman gumanda. Mulaney, forget about it.
I'm pre-conditioned to like
Gracepoint, because I loved
Broadchurch. I even watched the pilot of Broadchurch again, side by side Gracepoint, which is crazy, but I only wanted to see the shot for shot similarities nung first episode. Sinadya kasi nila gayahin talaga lahat. But I noticed some of the differences, in case you'd like to know:
1. Boss ni Elli sa Gracepoint (G) lalaki, sa Broadchurch (B) babae
2. Blunt trauma to the head yung pagpatay kay Danny sa G, strangulation sa B.
3. Connection ni Danny kay Jack, the old man, whale watching sa G, paper route sa B.
4. Hindi masyadong emphasized yung relationship ni Chloe sa older bf sa G.
5. Hindi pa clear anong nangyari sa character ni David Tennant sa dating work sa G. Hindi sya masyadong praning.
6. Yung journalist na pamangkin ni Elli, hindi rin clear na gusto nya lumipat sa national paper.
7. Obvious agad may tension yung tatay ni Danny at yung assistant nya sa G. Sa B hindi pa masyado.
8. Hindi nakakapagmura si Anna Gunn sa G. Lol. Paano kasi censored sa network TV.
9. Mas magaling acting nung tatay sa B (of course it's Andrew Buchan!). Yung tatay sa G pang telenovela ang delivery. Lol!
Gracepoint is a few minutes shorter. Some scenes were cut, not particularly important.
