^ Thanks sis. It's going to be like a month na since I emailed COL. I also have the PSIF already, pero ubos na shares nila now. Kaya di na ako makapag add. I'll try to open na din sa BPI UITF na equity. I'll still wait for COL though. Blog mo sis yung COL MF's pag okay na. :)

Hello girls! :) may nakapaginvest na ba sa MF via COL Fund Source?
Wanna try this kaso kelangan pa itake yung Assessment..
Kaya nag alinlangan pa ko i-take..
Like if moderate lang ako baka balanced funds lang pwede..
i have an MF with ALFM.. pinawaive ko lang kasi assessment results ko since face to
process?

Gusto ko sana philequity din.. :)

Waiver can be done online?
My results did not yield the fund I want so I'll redo sana but haven't gotten back to it yet.

^yes sis online. the waiver will appear once you place an order for a fund that is outside your risk profile. alam ko one time lang din yung waiver accdg to the info sa site nila. after that may access ka na sa lahat.

Parang wala sa site nila, may uncomplete application doon, dahil im waiting for tin# from q.c. rdo. I have the tracking number to gain access to edit/view my incomplete registration, pero hindi ko na mahanap kung paano ko ma access yun ulit.
Anyone here please help?

At the top of my head, kahit mag online register kayo mag susubmit pa rin kayo ng mga hard copy and signed forms.

As withe the tracking number, call the call center number found in their site

You can send an inquiry about anything :)

Sakit sa ulo mag back read pero it's all worth it. Will open a COL account for stocks and mutual funds by November. Thanks sa lahat ng info. Newbie lang ako sa ganito, marami pa kailangan basahin at pagaralan.

Can I have 3 different Philequity fund accounts, for my different purposes? (Eg, retirement, college, dream home fund. 3 different accounts, one name lang?

I have a philequity account under COL, planning to open 2 more sana.

There's no limitation but better to diversify. Like someone's worried here about closing company because PhilEquity is new compared to others.. Maybe low probability but still possible?

Yikes. That's true.  Baka better to put some in UITFs instead.

Thanks j.adore!

yup,nakakatakot.

kakaligpit ko nga lang ng insurance policies namin magkakapatid from my father. Pacific Plans. wala na sila ngayon. siguro noong 90's sila ang sikat. kawawa naman yung nagpasok ng pera doon na walang back up. imagine, paano na sila at mga pamilya nila ngayon

That's the advantage of getting an MF via COL. There are no charges.

My experience has been ok. It's similar to investing online with BPI.
There's just one extra step. I have to "pay" COL via BDO/BPI bills payment
and have to wait for 1 or 2 days I think before it shows up in COL.

Only then can I invest.

Mga sis yung mga gumamit ng COL platform for your MF what's your plan? Short or long term for this? And for how many years? I am still torn either to put up my MF through COL or direct sa Sunlife

^we are investing in MF through COL fund source. long term ang plano namin dito kasi it is intended for our future baby's education. mga 10 years and up. maybe after a year, we will start other MF naman for our travel fund - short term and for retirement-long term din.

for long term investing you can choose equity MFs pero kung short term like travel fund, house fund etc., better ang bond fund or balanced fund. but it will also depend on your risk appetite.:)

better educate yourself first about the nature of MFs before investing. may free seminar ang COL financial tungkol sa pag invest sa mutual funds but you have to register for the seminar first. checkout the website of COL financial

the good thing about this is, walang sales load. unlike kung bibili ka ng shares ng MF mo directly from the MF company, may bawas agad.

Kapag via Metrobank, within 30mins lang credited na
