On Emcees or Wedding Hosts (part 3)

aNgelofThEMorning, ang laki ng range ng price for emcees eh. Based on those I've inquired with, the range if 3,000 to 18,000. Madami pang mas mahal diyan. The 3,000 is a package with my wedding coordinator. Maybe you can ask your coordinator rin if you have one, baka he or she does hosting or can recommend someone who does. In my case though I went for Darlene Tan-Salazar, who's mid-range.

Hi mga sis!  I've just finished backreading previous threads    I took one emcee off my shortlist.  Good thing nag backread ako and nalaman ko yung issue niya.  Anyway, may link ba kayo ng videos ni Darlene?  So far I've only seen one video and gusto ko pa sana mapanood yung iba pero isa lang nakita ko sa search engine.  She's top 1 sa list ko kasi.  Thanks

Bettebette, I didn't go for the 3k emcee of my coordinator eh. Ms. Darlene's present rate is 7500 with additional out of town fee.

So dinedepende ba talaga sa venue ang rates? Nakakainis. Paranaque lang [textspeak!] venue ko sis.

^Darlene quoted me naman 8k & 10k.  Bakit mas mataas quote niya saken?  Di naman OOT wedding namin.  So, tama ba iniisip ni sis bettebette na depende sa venue ang rates ng mga emcee?

^ Darlene quoted me 7.5k and 9.5k. Mukang depende nga sa venue sis. O baka cinoconsider din nila ang presyo ng gasolina? Hehe. Unlike P/V's, mostly isa lang pricing pag Metro Manila.

Hehe!  Baka nga sis bettebette..  Mas mura ng 500 yung quote niya sayo.  Pero tama ba na Las Pinas venue mo?  Parang may nabasa ako sa previous post or iba natin sis yun?  If yes, Las Pinas din ako eh.  Baka magpa quote na lang ako ulit kasi nabawasan guests namin.  Baka factor din number of guests?

Baka naman it depends rin on the time of the wedding, the number of hours, the date (i.e. peak or off-peak)? Medyo matagal na kasi ako naginquire sa kanya eh. I think mabilis talaga magtaas ngayon ang wedding suppliers due to the demand.

^^ sis rienny25 nope sis paranaque kami sa blue leaf filipinas. ibang sis natin yun  as i can remember di sya nagtanong regarding sa number of guests. time and venue lang ang inask nya sakin. then from there nagbigay sya price list.

^ sis happyheartheart maybe sa peak or off-peak you have a point. pero di na kasi sya nag-ask ng number of hours. yup ang bilis talaga.. though may bumababa din pag tumataas ang competition... pero mas marami ang papataas 

anyway sis, im getting a new emcee na kasi taken si ms. darlene sa date ko.

Sabi sakin ng friends ko, iwasan daw kumuha ng host na kamag-anak or friends kasi kahit magaling sila magsalita and makisama sa crowd, di pa rin nila kayang imaximize ang time frame unlike professional hosts na sanay na sanay na, at malaki possibility na mabored mga tao kapag di nila mamaximize ng tama ang program. I experienced it once, sobrang nakakabored lalo na sa games nila kahit nakakatawa, marami pa ring time na nasayang .

We hired Kiss the Girl events as our OTD coordinators. Puwede rin sa kanila kunin yung host and super affordable I was hesistant at first kasi wala ako makitang reviews but we were very satisfied naman!

Sis bettebette, sa dami ng nababasa ko hirap ng mag-recall kung kanino wedding yung sa isang place.  hehe!  Nice ang Blue Leaf.  Isa din yan sa tinignan ko. 

Siguro nga sa peak or off peak... Pero April kasi wedding namin.  Ang alam ko December-January yung peak.
