Hi,

I've been reading mga boxing threads at nakakainspire mag box. Recently Ive been thinking of joining one near my place. Pero [textspeak!] available time na pwede akong pumunta ay morning before work.  [textspeak!] work ko 10-7, pero I leave the house mga 8:30 to reach there on time. Tas I arrive sa bahay mga 9++. So I was thinking of going to the gym 6:30-8. I'm not physically fit, so advisable ba before work?

Hello! What do you need to know? :)

I prefer the Elorde vouchers from Metrodeal over CashCashPinoy. Usually, 2 months ang validity vs. CCP's 1. Madali lang naman i-claim. Just print and present to the receptionist at your chosen gym. Usually, pag bumili ako ng marami, isang bigayan na yun (although your gym might be different). Magaling naman mag-keep track yung receptionist sa amin, pero I keep my own records din just to be sure.

I like using vouchers. Malaki talaga ang matitipid (99 vs. 250 for walk-ins), and at least may extra pang-tip kay kuya. ;)

^gusto ko rin makatyempo ng vouchers. Kasi I am planning to get the package, 1500 for 10 sessions, pero mas makakamura pa rin if vouchers

^ No problem! :)

By the way, kakakuha ko lang sa email, try promo code OCTOBEROFF10 for extra 10% off.

Yan yung isang advantage ng CCP over Metrodeal, may promo code.

Sis ava_camiile, 1 hour is enough as long as yung heart rate mo mataas meaning intense and workout. Ang HIIT alam ko less than an hour pero that is the best if you want to lose weight.

:D

Im glad na-enjoy mo ang HIIT sis icee_star. What i like about C. Raymundo madaling makagaanan ng loob ang mga coaches di ka maiilang sa kanila unlike sa ibang gym na parang ang formal masyado. Dun parang nasa bahay lang din ako

I'm planning to box din sa Elorde C.Raymundo :) ang saya kasi daming sis dito na dun din nagboxing :) Anong brand ba na ok bilhin na gloves and wraps? I'm thinking kasi since newbie lang ako, mura lang muna bilhin.

^Hi! :D If you're just starting, I suggest borrowing gloves from your trainer first. It's a good thing to get your own handwraps though (you know, for hygiene ;)). I know most Elorde branches sell handwraps. Get the stretchy, cotton type (okay naman ata yung Elorde brand). Those will conform better to your hands and will let them breathe. Don't go for the synthetic ones (like the newer Everlast wraps).

Na-tempt din ako dati na bumili lang ng murang gloves, but gloves should really be an investment. After all, they protect your hands. I suggest Twins. Although mas mahal, maganda talaga ang gawa. Anyway, I think after a boxing session or two, you can pretty much tell if you're going to stick with it. :)

I got my gloves and my first set of wraps from K-1 Extreme Sportshop in Bonny Serrano. They also have a branch in the Fort.

^ sis Thank you so much sa tips. :) sige ill try one to two sessions muna ng hihiram lang ako ng gloves sa elorde. I'll just buy my own wraps :D meron bang mga Twins na gloves sa mall? like toby's or Chris Sports?
