^Baka pwede na yang [textspeak!] mo sis para di ka na kukuha. Ask the municipal office where you are going to get your marriage license kung ano nirerequire nilang validity ng birth cert and also the church kasi bibigyan mo din sila ng copy nyan.

Hi B2Bs would you know any Church in Metro Manila, preferably QC/Makati/Manila lang sana, na may regular schedule ng pre cana seminars? Like on a weekly basis? TIA

^ Hi sis. We had our pre-cana seminar at the Hearts Jesus and Mary Parish (Daily Mirror St. cor. Bulletin St. West Triangle Quezon City). Just a suggestion if you guys live around this area.

While they only conduct the seminar once a month (not sure kung every second Saturday of the month pa rin), one full day na siya with discussions on natural family planning and then you'll get the certificate immediately before you go home.

Also, what documents do we need to prepare?

 I've heard nga most of the Churches, 2nd Saturdays usually, if so we can do it naman. Baka lang sakali merong mga walk ins.

^ Hi sis! Keri lang.  You may need to register kasi magpprepare sila ng materials and food for the couples that day. If you're not going to get married in that church, I think may fee (pero kasama na lunch and snacks). August 2016 kami nag-pre-cana (kahit na May 2017 pa wedding). That time wala naman kaming naprepare na docs. They just asked certain details for the certificate.

Ask na lang rin kung pwede walk-in kasi tinanong kaming mga couples before kung may walk-in. Wala naman ata that time.

I've seen Pre-cana seminars that are online. Not 100% sure how it works pero I believe it's valid. My coordinator suggested it to me kasi we weren't sure if the pre-cana schedules will match our schedule.

^sis yung publication ng Marriage License sa civil registry is parang same process din ng Marriage Banns sa church. Sa civil Registry 10 consecutive days posting, yung Marriage Banns naman is 3 sundays posting.

Everything will depend kasi sa church sis. Pero samin kasi isa sa last namin inasikaso ay Marriage License dahil overseas kami pareho. Nauna din ang posting ng banns namin before the Canonical Interview. After the realasing of License and posting ng banns sa parishes, pinadala na namin agad sa church. It was almost 2 weeks nalang before our wedding.

May validity period naman yan sis, just check ilang months/weeks valid ang license before kayo mag apply. Hindi ko na kasi matandaan yung validity. hehe! Wala naman atang problem sa submission as long as valid ang license on the day of application and up until your wedding date.

Any San Antonio de Padua Church graduate Brides here? Or yung tapos na sa marriage banns, our OTD Coordinator is helping us out, but can I clarify lang kung papano ba talaga process ng banns, yung letter sino ba dapat magpadala sa Parish? Tayo ba or Parish to Parish? After ipost sino din ba dapat kumuha tayo ba or Parish to Parish din? Medyo nalito, di kasi clear ang info na nakukuha ko. TIA

^hi sis! Caleruega ako pero as per our experience, kami ang nagdala at nag pick up after 3 Sunday postings sa parishes namin kasi bulacan lang din naman kung san kami naka reside.

Siguro magiging parish to parish lang kapag sobrang layo ng parish sis? Not 100% sure lang. I have a friend kasi who got married 2015, and parish to parish yung sakanila kasi QC sila ikakasal then cabanatuan ata yung parishes nila.

Hay I admit we're about 70% done with the weddings preps / wedding suppliers for our April 2018 Christian Wedding, but the details regarding the wedding documents and requirements maybe close to 0% knowledge ako.

Is it true that CENOMAR is only valid for 6 months? I asked my Mom to process ours thru authorization letter since we're both based abroad. She already got it and our NSO Birth Certificate. By April we will start our seminar to our Pastor in church.

I'm lost. Don't know what's next

CENOMAR is only valid for 6 months.
Marriage license only for 120 days.
Pati church docs may validity period din, I think 6 months also.

The docs dapat talaga mga 3-4 months prior to the wedding dapat kasi they expire.

Ay grabe, we're so early pala tsk tsk. Need to plan our itinerary very well everytime we will go home para ma process din marriage documents accordingly. Didn't expect na may expiration pala, I thought the earlier you process the documents, the better.

Overseas based here decibel28 You can get your own NSO CENOMAR online through the ecensus website and pay using your credit card. It will take max 7 working days and will be delivered to your house. It's easy and hassle free. We used that portal to get our own CENOMAR and Birth cert.
