Wedding docs 101/Church requirements..

Sis Tincywincy same kayo ni H2B, sa chapel lang din siya kaya hinahanap pa niya kung saang parish makukuwa. If by the end of the month wala pa din, magpaconfirm nalang siya ulit. The church where we'll be getting married needs all documents before they accept payment for church reservation. Although naka block na yung date ayaw muna nila tumanggap ng bayad.

ay okay, naku sis goodluck din pala kay H2B sa pag hanap ng certificate nya  kung alam ko lang na magging mahirap to someday, dapat pala dun na din ako nagpa confirm sa church kung san ako nagpabinyag para isahan nalang pagkuha ng docs.

BBB21 Sis, since taga QC/Caloocan si h2b ko, ideal din samin dyan sa St. Peter, natetempt ako, lalo kung sasakto sa schedule namin since based kami abroad, kaso kailangan talaga nakalagay for confirmation purposes? Medyo hassle kasi kukuha na ng copy ng baptismal for marriage purposes naman as a Church requirement, unless pwede kuhain ng sabay no, and magrelease sila ng 2 at the same time? Sa Malacang kasi maski copy lang ng old baptismal pumapayag. Hmmm, check ko din yang option na yan, anong day/date ka nag pa kumpil sa St. Peter? May alam ka bang contact no.? TIA 

Yung sa Marriage License, super helpful info nyan, at least 1 seminar nalang, hitting 2 birds with one stone.

^Hi sis! Actually the one that I submitted on confimation day itself is yung original baptismal cert ko. Kasi nga akala ko same lang sa St. Michael. Hehe. Yung kay h2b naman is for marriage purpose ang nakalagay. They did not accept it kasi nga walang for confirmation purpose. Akala ko nga di kami papayagan umattend because of that. Pero pwede naman siyang to follow. 😊

Less hassle siya I think kung QC area si h2b mo. I think pwede naman mag-request ng 2 copies ng baptismal cert na different purposes. Ganun kasi ginawa nung sakin. Para isang request na lang. 😊

I don't have a contact number kasi yung ninang lang namin sa wedding na active dun ang nagsabi na meron dun once a month. I think you can google their landline number naman. 😊

Super saya ko nung tinanggap pre-cana certificate namin. Kasi ang init at ang daming tao dun sa seminar room! Haha.

We secured our marriage license early this month at QC Hall. It took us around 1-1 1/2 hours to finish. Tumagal lang dahil sa distance ng civil registry office sa health office nila. Good thing they accepted our pre-cana certificate kaya hindi na kami nag-seminar sa health office. 😊

Good to know they accepted yung pre-cana cert. Siguro confirm ko na lang ulit just in case. Thanks for sharing this sis!

Yung precana namin sa OLLP may kasama na din family planning. So kpag ganun pla no need na umattend ng seminar sa munisipyo kapag kumuha ng marriage license.. Great!😊

^^We had it at Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish in Pasig. Yun kasi yung parish ng chapel namin. 😊

When I asked sa civil registry kung tatanggapin yun, they said sabihin lang daw sa health office baka tanggapin daw nila. So kinabahan ako kasi baka di kunin. Then pinakita namin yung pre-cana certificate namin. Need nila ng photocopy nun then ayun tinanggap naman. 😊

Realizations I've had so far.

1. Baptize my future kids in churches that are accessible or known by most of our relatives.
2. Give them names that are not prone to mispelling. Im having a problem with this one coz both my hubby and I have names that are commonly mispelled. Ayun kahit tama naman yung spelling sa official documents, when I request for new copies nagkakamali pa rin encoders ugh.

Im not naman angry, pero yung issue ko sa Baptismal certificate is because ayaw pumayag ng Priest who baptized me na walang Saint name ko, he insisted lagyan ng "Maria" in front of my legal name maski meron na daw ako Birth Certificate, but now I have to face the consequences. Geez. Medyo matrabaho din, lalo na Im based abroad.

^Ang dami ko narinig na ganyan. Pinadadagan ng "Maria", pinoy sounding names, our names of saints mga pangalan ng mga babies on the spot sa baptism. Kulit ng mga pari LOL, mas marunong pa sa parents.

Tip rin girls, sa baptismal certificate make sure na maiden name ng moms nakalagay and not the married name. I think before lenient and wala preference ang church kung ano gamitin na name ng mom but now they are very strict about it. Instructions from Arzobispado de Manila mismo. This is so the name of the mom is consistent to what's written in her birth and marriage certificates. Problem ko din yan ngayon with my hubby's baptismal certificate. Only the parents or the person himself can request for name amendment. Kung wala, kailangan ng Special Power of Attorney pa. Too bad hubby is overseas.

^^ woah, may ganon pa pala, buti nalang sa old baptismal ko maiden name ng mom ko nakalagay. Thanks for the tip, may issue din h2b ko spelling naman, iadvise ko na din sya hehe.

^By June 2017 sis pwede ka na kayo each kumuha ni h2b ng ff:
Birth Certificate from NSO
Cenomar from NSO
Baptismal Certificate for marriage purpose
Confirmation Cerrifcate for marriage purpose

Lahat kasi yan 6 months validity. Whereas yung Marriage License naman is by September nyo pa pwede iapply kasi 120 days ang validity.
