Any San Antonio de Padua (Silang) bride/s here? How long do they process the church requirements? We've been trying to call them but we could contact them. :( Is 3-4 weeks enough to process both marriage license and church requirements? H2B will be assigned abroad for few months and his return would be a month before the wedding. We could only start processing when he gets back. Aside from birth certificates, CENOMAR, baptismal and confirmation certificates, what else can I process alone? A week before the wedding ba ang pang-3rd week?

Thanks in advance! :)

^ I'm a San Antonio de Padua bride, but unlike you we are already married civilly and will have our church wedding in June. When is your wedding? If it's going to be in 6 months maybe you can start compiling your paperworks. I would suggest to just try keep calling them. My mum is the one who mostly calls them, and she has not had a problem so far. They don't have office on Mondays (like most churches], but are open tuesdays to sundays on regular office hours.

When we went there last year pa[ overseas couple ], we asked for all the necessary documents. Maybe you could do the same. The new registrar is actually so patient and good to deal with.  Try backreading regarding the documents needed for marriage license. Most of our sisters here, have posted their experience here. Good luck sis.

2. Cedula of both applicants
3. One ID photo of each applicant
4. 25 yrs old and above -Family Planning only - Health Department OFFice
24 yrs old below - Family Planning and Counselling - Health Deve office, Social Services and Dev DEp
5. CENOMAR from NSO

   Application form ---- 50php
   Filing fee ------------  100php
   Marriage License ---  100php

   If applicant is Foreigner:
1. Photocopy of Passport (showing data and date of arrival)
2. Certificate of LEGAL CAPACITY TO MARRY, Issued by their respective Consular or Diplomatic Official
3. If divorced, copy of Final Decree of Absolute Divorce
4. Certificate of Family Planning & marriage Counseling and Responsible Parenthood.

NOTES:
   Parent's Consent (18-20 yrs old)
   Parent's Advice  (21-24 yrs old)
One of the applicant must be resident of the place where they will apply for the marriage license
The marriage license will be issued on the 11th day after the 10-day posting period upon submission of the application for marriage license. License expires 120 days from the date license was issued.

Hope this helps... Happy preps!

Hi mga sis, how does Parent's Advice work? Pano kumuha? Pano gawin? Sorry, di ko talaga alam e. I mean, is this just a letter from the parents or what? Thank you.

Pati na rin pala yung Family Planning and Counselling, san kukuha neto?

Meron ba ditong Imus Cathedral brides?  :)

^ i think sa city hall lahat yan sis, patri yung seminar, ask mo nalang kung san ang venue, sa parent's advice actually no idea, hindi na din kasi ako nagtanong dun since hindi ko kailangan... better search sa google or ask directly sa city hall  ;) ;) ;)

Hi girls,

Just starting to read on church requirements. Fiance will only get to come home mga 3 months before our wedding and roughly have 2 weeks to arrange for the church docs. Kinda confused how to start the marriage license, he has to be physically present when we submit this? In regards to marriage seminar (for marriage license) can pre cana fall under this too? I was wondering how to get his cedula he has not lived here for 20 years e. TIA!

Better not to declare he lived abroad for 20 years pero ndi naman tinatanong sa cedula yan.

HI sis fornarina, tama si sis lueeesa, gather all the needed requirements sa church and sa city hall, don't divulge everything! hahahaha!
icomplete mo na yung ibang pwede mong makuha, like NSO certificates, cedula, etc. so that pag uwi nya hindi na hassle na maghihintay pa ng ibang documents bago kayo makapagpasa sa church and city hall... as much as possible, seminars nalang ang aatendan nya

Yes magkaiba yun.

Separated na kasi si mama at papa and parehas my new partners na. Medyo pasaway kasi yung tunay kong tatay. Pwede ba yung tatlo sila? Hindi naman bawal sa church yun diba? Thanks

Hi sis mapoo, pwede yung half half, if you want, at first you will be  with your dad then in the middle waiting si mom and stepdad, sila ang mag usher sayo to your groom... or vice versa nakita ko yun sa isa sa mga SDE na napanood ko, can't remember lang kung saan sa dami ng pinanood ko

When I was in Manila, I asked everything. When it comes sa church naman, iisa lang general requirements though when it comes sa pag submit ng docs pwede pakiusapan sila as long as you can provide everything at least 1 month before the wedding. Kami by 1st week December pa estimate ko ma complete kasama marriage banns eh December 23 wedding namin. I talked to the Parish secretary ok naman daw basta complete lahat. Yung marriage banns kasi you can do it naman kahit overseas both couple or kahit isa overseas basta ma complete lang requirements which is Pre-cana seminar. The pattern goes like this as what the Parish secretary told me.

Baptismal + Confirmation certs for Marriage purpose > submit for Precana > Precana cert with Baptismal + Confirmation certs submit to Church for marriage bann > church gives marriage bann request for both B/G churches > wait for 3 consecutive sundays > get no objection permit then submit to church where you'll get married > church docs + civil docs > wedding day!

Thanks shygirlme and vhena14. Nako! Gusto ko na maloka sakanila. Haha.
