I tried homeopathic meds c/o of an Indian friend and I find it effective kaso di siya available locally at di pa uso sa atin. Nakakahiya naman kung hingi ako ng hingi then I discovered Dr.Tan so Chinese meds naman ako.  Eversince I went to Dr.Tan maintain lang endo ko. I’m not a regular na linggo linggo anduon but I visit whenever I can aside sa I visit my OB once in a while for check-up and ultra sound. The thing is I stopped taking the prescribed meds since last year by my OB (injectables then pills para lahat na ata pina-try sakin) and even yung doctor ko sa breast cyst di ko rin iniinom ang gamot. Naglalaban ang meds nila pero di ko sinasabi syempre.

For me mas nakakatulong ng malaki yung tabletas at tea ni Dr.Tan for my endo. Hindi ko mabitawan ang food dahil love ko talaga ito but I try to limit my intakes at sinusunod ko ang bawal na sinabi niya most of the time pero nagcheat ako. Di ko matiis and so far maintain naman ang both breast at endo ko. Yung OB ko sabi wala daw bawal dahil hormonal ang endo pero mas naniniwala ako kay Dr.Tan. Yung doctor ko sa breast nagulat dahil may nawawala na isang cyst pero syempre di ko sinasabi na nagchichinese medication ako. Ang endo ko naglalaro size laki-liit pero manageable naman at di ako natuloy sa operation until now. I believe nasa food talaga. God has always been good to me. He always does and I am very thankful for that.

I plan to visit again Dr.Tan this month for the tea. Pero sana mauso ang homeopathy dito sa Pinas naniniwala ako sa gamutang ito than sa western meds na lutong luto na ako lalo at suki ako ng antibiotics noon. I believe dadaming mahihirap na Pinoy matutulungan ng homeopathy kaso tutulan ito ng medical association ng Pinas tiyak dahil mababawasan ng kita nag malalaking pharmaceutical companies na tie-up nila.

MisCalculus, hi sis. Sorry now lang uli nakapag GT. Oo nga sis, parang kelan lang. Going 2 months na rin baby ko. Re althea, nag take ako nito sis, 2 or 3 months ata. I think nakatulong sya para lumiit at mawala cyst ko. Nag depo kasi ako July to Nov, pero I always had spotting kaya sabi ng dati ko OB mag althea ako. December nagpa TVS ako, may cyst pa both ovaries, lumiit pero konti lang. Then TVS again ng Feb, wala na yung sa left ko, then lumiit sa right ko - from 4cm naging 2cm nalang.

Although nung nagpapawork up ako, napansin ko iba iba ang basa ng sonologists sa SLMC, meron sa kanila ang sabi bilateral, meron din namang ang sabi sa right lang. Hinayaan ko lang kasi importante sa akin noon mapreggy ako. Hindi ko pa alam kelan ako uli magpapa TVS, pero yung operative record ko when I gave birth nakalagay normal both ovaries. Sana nga nawala na sya nung preggy ako.

Thanks for the reply sis.. I deliberately did not take any meds this month, or Althea as prescribed by my doctor.
Pinag iisipan ko pa lang pros and cons tapos napaaga naman ang period ko. Ayan hindi tuloy ako nakabili.
Since you have positive experience with it, maybe next month try ko na din, for 3 months lang naman. Inferness naman sa system ko at sa endo ko masunurin sya sa mga gamot. Madali syang lumiit sabayan ko lang ng healthy diet

Just got married this year. Up until now, I have a sexless relationship with my husband because it's so painful when we're trying to have sex. I checked with my OB Gyne and one of the reasons of the pain aside from vaginism is endometriosis. There were pimple like cysts na natotouch ang OB Gyne ko when I had pelvic exam. Masakit pag natotouch niya. So she confirmed that it is endo. But no other tests were done. How did you know mga sis kung gano kadami and gano kalaki cysts niyo?

I had transrectal before getting married because of my polycystic ovary, hindi naman nila nakita before. I'm taking Althea for 7 years now. I want to get pregnant pero ang dami dami kong issues sa reproductive health ko (polycystic ovary, vaginism, septate uterus and now endometriosis). Sabi ng OB Gyne ko, iaaddress muna namin ang vaginism ko so we can regularly have sexual intercourse. I asked her that I want to know kung gaano kalala ang endometriosis ko. Sabi niya thru laparoscopy pa daw yun. Kayo sis, pano niyo nalaman ang size and dami ng cyst? May nababasa pa nga ako na may stages ang endo. Stage 1-4 ata? Pero sakin walang nabanggit. TYSM!

Have you had transvaginal ultrasound to confirm you have endo after marriage? It seems it will also trigger yung vaginism na magbigay ng pain while inserting yung probe na kagaya ng probe na inserted sa transrectal. Kami, transvaginal ultrasound ang ginawa para sukatin ang sizes ng mga cyst but not definitive sizes pa yun. To have confirmed at accurate sizes talaga ay laparoscopy ang ginagawa. Since sa babaeng walang vaginism, you can monitor the cyst in an ultrasound na kahit pano. Makikita mu dito yung darken na cyst, bilog na dugo ang laman nya. At sa ultrasound, masusukat bawat sizes ng lahat ng abnormalities present sa isang reproductive organs.

For staging naman, true that only laparoscopy can gauge what stage you are now, that will defend on the size and location of the cyst.

Kami 4yrs married then nadiagnose endo ko March 2014, got preggy naman November 2015 after 3 months workup sa OB ko.

^musta mga sis, been idle for a while. Anyone who experience rectal pain during ovulation? May endo ako sa left ovary pero hindi naman ako nagdidysmenorhea. Pero sometimes sumasakit sa may bandang balakang and rectal area. Ngayon tapos na period ko and starting day 10-12 i feel pain sa rectal area pati sa vagina. Parang may pressure umaabot sa legs. Planning to check it na sa OB. Hindi ako sure kung associated ito sa endo ko. 😞

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I last visited this thread.

@onlytechgirl: I do experience rectal and upper back leg pain. I usually experience it before, during and a few days after ng period.

Is Lupron more effective than Visanne? I've done some research on Lupron, ang daming scary stories about it. Nakakapanghina.

Ang sakit ng left breast ko . I dunno if this is because I've been taking visanne for 3 months.  I will go to my OB on saturday.

^after visiting to my OB lang talaga, she advise me to do open surgery na but I prefer to have the lap instead kung magsusurgery. So I decided to come back to my OBRe and according to her, surgery is not an option if I want to get pregnant. Regarding sa pain still normal for my endo, she prescribe me visanne to treat. Lumiit na rin kasi siya. Ano po experience niyo sa visanne? How much din po yun? 😊

I saw an OB for the first time last month because of super painful dysmenorrhea. And I was diagnosed with Endo and Adenomysosis din after ultrasound.

I have a cyst on my right ovary and hydrosalpinx on the left. I was made to choose between injections (that would simulate menopause) and pills. I chose pills thinking it was less invasive and cost-effective. I was prescribed Vissane for 3mos. Then ultrasound by Dec to check if may improvement.

I am hesitant to take this because of all the reviews I have read and the fact that it is still undergoing clinical trials in some countries for approval.

While backreading, napaisip tuloy ako if I should get a second opinion since a lot of our Sis here had several OBs before deciding on a treatment.

Should i get another one or push ko muna to for 3months?

I am not TTC. I just want peace of mind lang. TIA

hi sis, try mo muna mag pills.give it a try.
Be cautious sa hydrosalphinx kase ako from hydrosalphinx naging pyosalphinx tungkol eto sa fallopian tube. Kase sobrang sakit nito pag umatake plus endo ka pa.
Ano pwede gawin sa hydrosalphinx mo? wala bang reseta ng antibiotic for that?

pero kung in doubt ka sa OB mo ngayon, pwede ka naman magpacheck up ulit.
Kase naniniwala ako sa doctor kung saan magaan loob mo or hiyang ka..

Naisip ko rin yan since babalik naman ako sa office nya by 1st week of November and if hindi kami okay ni Visanne eh sasabihin ko na. Although scary talaga yung side effects.

Wala syang namention na antibiotic treatments for that. So far 3x ko pa lang sya nakausap:

9/22/ 16 - Initial check up. I complained of my severe dysmenorrhea incident na may chills/flu-like symptoms/all over body pain. She had me undergo ultrasound.

9/23/16 - With ultrasound results. She said na may Adenomyosis ako and quite possibly Endo (Thick uterine wall. Hematosalphinx sa right. Hydrosalphinx sa left.) And that "namamaga daw yung ovaries/tubes" ko. Then she gave me the option of the injections or pills. Pills yung pinili ko. She said she will prescribe me something that was designed for the pain but she's hoping na lumiit din yung swelling. We ended there kasi pag isipan ko muna daw until next cycle.

10/19/16 - I came back on the supposed 1st day of my period and she prescribed Vissane nga. No explanation of the side effects of what. Told me to come back 1st week of November.

The doctor was recommended by the HMO. The time na nagpacheck up ako concern ko lang is dysmenorrhea and alot of my friends na nagconsult alam ko binigyan lang sila ng pills (althea, dianne, etc) so I was kinda shocked when I researched the drug online and nalaman na tarageted sya for endo rather than [textspeak!]. And now first day ko na kaya I am so torn

I went to my ob last week. Improving na daw ako, binawasan na nya ang dosage ko ng metformin pero continue ko lang daw ang visanne for another 2months at baka finally maging ok na ang endometriosis ko. Sana tuloy tuloy na..

I was diagnosed last september with bilateral endo cyst both 5 cm. That time ko [textspeak!] nalaman kasi i don't experience dymenorrhea. Super heavy bleeding lang to which sanay na ako at light bleeding between period. Ininject ako with leuprolide acetate. This is supposed to be monthly for 4 months. Nagpatingin rin ako sa ibang o.b. and agree naman sya sa leuprolide acetate at maliit pa raw ang size if papaopera ko sya. After the first shot and true sa mga reviews na nabasa ko, i had pelvic pain, heavy menstruation, 2 weeks of spotting, dysme and swollen breast. After the second shot, no more pain, spotting and mentruation. Ang pumalit ay hot flushes which cause insomnia. Basically bigla na lang umiinit katawan ko kahit habang natutulog kaya putol putol tulog ko. Dahil sa kulang ang tulog, more than a week ako na super hilo. At 1 week rin ako na may ubo at sipon. After my third shot, hot flushes pa more. Mas lumala na insomnia ko, di na ako makatulog. Maximum  of 4 hrs a day na lang yata tulog ko. Nagkafever ako with upper respiratory tract infection and uti. 95% decided na ako not to have the 4th shot (last shot) kasi baka di ko na kayanin side effect. What do u guys think? What's the next step? Pills na lang?

I have endometriosis measuring 3cm,2.5cm and 1cm, I also have adenomyiosis pero nagrarange lang sya sa 1cm-1.5cm, my myoma din ako.. My OB suggested GnRH and Visanne,nahihirapan ako mamili sa dalawa kasi natatakot ako sa side effects and yung price ni GnRH is 8k a month while Visanne is 2800,anlaki ng difference pero kung yung effectiveness ang paguusapan alin sa kanila ang mas ok mga sis?TTC kame ni DH for 4yrs. please help mga sis to decide.. thank you!

Hello, newbie here..i was diagnosed of having endometriosis October 2013..i had 2 major surgery, november 2014 and september 2016..My right tube was damaged na ng endo ko kaya i had it removed nung last operation ko..we were on CCT for 3years but no luck yet..been on clomid last cycle, unfortunately i ovulated sa right ovary ko so im waiting for my AF anytime soon. Just so happy i found this site. At least i know this group will understand and feel the struggle im into 😊
