^hi mga sis, just want to ask your opinion, i'm planning na ipatanggal na yun endo ko sa left ovary ko, ano po mas ok open surgery or laparoscopy. Thanks.

^ I have only experienced laparoscopy so I can only share what I experienced. I had a cyst in one of my ovaries and it was removed without having to cut me wide open. Recovery was fast. I was already out of the hospital 2 days after the surgery.

In terms of result, the very first period after the surgery was painful for me. Maybe because there was adjustment in my body. After that, I became pain-free naman. It's been 5 years since my surgery. Now, I'm experiencing some pains na uli. Mukhang bumalik yung endo ko.  I'm praying na mabuntis na ako para I don't need to go thru another surgery to remove it.

^hi sis! if i may ask, anong size ng endo mo? mine were 4cm sa right, 3cm sa left, i was also advised before to undergo surgery pero my OB also said na pwede pa ring bumalik so i opted for depo provera nalang and pills. awa ng Diyos lumiit naman sa right, tapos sa left nawala.

^^ and ^ ako din nag iisip kung ipapaalis ko na. Chronic pain is not normal daw kasi and di rin tama na the cyst is inside my body ng matagal or hanggang tumanda daw ako. I just hope na lumiit pa talaga sya until May to delay surgery.

I just had my second consultation sa new obgyn onco yesterday to show her the results of my trans v and breast ultrasound. It showed in my trans v that I have andemyosis and mejo kumakapal uterus, and I have 2 breast cysts (which kumonti na compared to last 2014)

she said that if I wanna have kids pa, I better do it now, as in asap. because endometriosis and ademyosis, which I both have, are degenerative diseases/conditions that gets worse over time. alam naman natin there is no other cure but to take out everything or menopause.

Altho I have no plans of having another kid, I felt very depressed hearing this..and once again I felt the desire I had before to have a baby boy. I do not know what the future will bring, I do not know if I will change my mind, but I want to prolong this uterus of mine to still be able to have a baby as long as I can.. just in case. parang ayoko magsisi na pinabayaan ko nalang ito to deteriorate in time. 

Has anyone heard of Dr.Homer Lim? my mom texted me his details which a friend recommended that I see. He is a natural oncologist and acupuncturist and his clinic is in La Consolacion college in Mendiola. any reviews about him?

May iba pa po ba dito nagtitake ng Visanne?

I've been taking Visanne for 10 months now. I was warned na magkakapimples ako or tataba.
Wala naman ako choice kasi gusto ko matreat yung sakit, nevermind the side effects.
At first ok lang kasi i lost weight naman last year. Pero eto na, this year ramdam ko na pagbigat ng katawan ko, natatamad din ako magkikilos... Kahit magbawas ako ng kain, nagbi-brisk walk pa ako daily for almost 30 minutes, pero wala eh tumataba talaga ako. Thank God wala naman pimples.

Hi everyone,

I was recently diagnosed with endomitriotic cyst 5cm left ovary. Suprisingly i dont have any symptoms its just that its an incidental finding lang sa kidney ultrasound kaya nagpa transrectal ultrasound. My first OB told me that i should undergo laparotomy. 2nd OB requested for another ultrasound but mentioned na mag GNRH daw ako if ever. now im confused.. may recommended OB po ba kayo sa QC area? preferably intellicare accredited ?

ang sakin naman ttc ako for 13yrs.nitry ko sa new OB ko Dr.oreta  during my pelvic exam baka meron daw ako endo,nakakapa daw nya yung likod ng matres ko and masakit. but sa tvs ko wala naman nakita..sabi nya talagang hindi daw nakikita sa ultrasound ang endo.kailangan daw ako ilapthen next procedure is IVF na.natakot ako kasi operation yun... and nalaman ko php300k operation for the laparoscopy.nakuu po! jusme! ang mahal pala...kaya stop nalang ako pwede bang meron talaga ako endo kahit wala naman nakita sa tvs ko?

^I suggest seek ka po ng 2nd opinion.
At sobrang mahal naman ng surgery. I'm not sure, pero ang alam ko even The Medical City hindi ganyan kalaki magcharge for a lap, lalo at hindi ganun ka-complicated ang condition.
Hanap lang ng hanap hangga't di nasasagot yung marami natin tanong tungkol sa sakit natin.

I've bad news to share, lalo na po sa mga nag-GNRH or nagti-take ng meds like me. (Visanne)
I've developed multiple breast cysts, possibly the side effect of Visanne daw accdg to my doctor. They are benign and small naman (largest is 0.96cm), pero nalulungkot ako baket umabot sa ganito. Late last year pa ko nakakaramdam ng breast pain, I also informed my OB about it. But since every 2 or 3 months lang kami magkita ng doctor ko i was told only last month magpa-sonomammogram; kundi pa sya sumakit ng madalas last april.

All I wanted was to get rid of this endometrioma, pero ang nakuha ko additional cyst

I was subject for lap na last year pa, but since I responded well w/ Visanne, yung dating 6 months of taking it naging 1 year na.
Di ko alam kung nagpabaya ba ako? Kinulang ba ko sa pagtanong? Kasi sinusunod ko lang advice ng doctor every check up ko. Gusto ko magalit at maghanap ng sisi kasi di naman na-explain ng maigi ng doctor ang mga side effects except for magkaka-pimples or pag-gain ng weight. I was just told before that side effects are nothing compared to the treatment of endometriosis.

So, stop daw muna ako sa Visanne, and wait for another 2-3 months to repeat sonomammogram.
I hope and pray that these will go away naturally; na hormonal imbalance lang yun nakita sa kin, similar sa mga nakakapa everytime dumadating ang monthly period natin.
Parang back to zero ako after almost 1.5 yrs.

gi10gi18 pasecond opinion ka muna sis. ang oa ng quote sa lap ha, nung ako dati ang sabi nasa 80k aabutin. too much yng 300k. saka baka mabigyan ka pa ibang options pag nagpa second opinion ka.

MisCalculus *hugs* sis! hay nakaka-sad nga yan. instead na gumaling, may dumagdag pang cyst. ang weird lang, sana sinabi agad ng doc mo na may ganong side effect.

sis gi10gi18, i tried dra. Oreta too. And the first time we consulted to her, ganyan din ang sinabi nya. Buti na lang i trusted my instincts and had a second opinion. at sabi naman, kung hindi ka dine-dysmenorrhea and no pain during sex then there's no problem. Now i'm 5 weeks pregnant na.

Hi mga sis,
Nakakalungkot dalawang ovary ko na ang may cyst.. 2. Something sa left then 4. something sa right.. sobrang active nya,nagstop kasi ako depo kasi natakot ako na hindi na ako nagkakaperiod  kahit walang injectable then nung nagpaultrasound ako this april ayon nakita tong cyst ko sa right....  tapos nerecommend your Ang gnrh... sobrang mahal pa naman nung gamot..

Ok lang ba kung dalawang beses ako mag take ng gnrh??

Hi po,

I am new to this site. Gusto ko pong malaman kung sino na po sa inyo tapos na magtake ng visanne for 3 months? and kelan po nagkaron ng menstruation? I just end using it last June 3. Until now wala pa din pong mense.
