Endometriosis Thread 3: Place for EndoWarriors

Almost 6cm yata. But I guess I want to get ahead of this also. I was given options for medicines only or this as a treatment plan. Although mag papa 2nd opinion kami pag uwi ni husband next week. Lakasan na lang ng loob din. I just turned 33, and we want to have a baby soon. Hopefully at least dalawa if we are to be blessed. 8 months minimum sa kwenta namin ang proseso na ito. Unang buwan ko pa lang hindi ko na kinakaya ang mga pangyayari -- from diagnosis to planning. Gusto ko na rin gumaling at bfp. Kung baga, nasa Diyos ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa.

Blessing na din sis. Medyo naging spiritual at life journey din ito sa amin mag-asawa. Talagang minsan kahit anong plano natin sa buhay natin, pag hindi pa ayon sa oras ni God, may ituturo muna siya. Ang swerte natin ang daming available information sa internet (medyo nakaka praning lang). hehe

I have PCOS, Endometriosis, Retroverted Uterus, Right Ovarian Cyst (~5cm), 3 Myomas in my uterus and thickened uterine lining. All of which were diagnosed mid-last year.

I underwent hysteroscopy to resolved the thickened uterine lining. I was asked in January by my OB to completely change my diet - I eliminated dairy, red meat. white rice and sweets. Then I was asked to increase my Metformin intake from 500mg/day to 2g/day. I also started taking liver detox supplements that I bought in Healthy Options.

I prayed every night for God to bless us with a child when He thinks we're ready and when it's time.

January 31, I got my period - I was so sad when I did. I read somewhere that Serrapeptase and Nattokinase will help. So I ordered online and started taking them.

Feb 24, 4 days before my next period, I got a second faint line when I took a preg test. Why did I take one? I don't know LOL I was just so nauseous and hungry that day and I went to Watsons to buy chips. Something tells me I needed to but pregnancy tests as well so I did.

I am now on my 28th week of pregnancy. We are having a boy.  Keep the faith, girls! God can surprise us with a miracle anytime.

I have a question sis, yung hystersocopy na ginawa sayo is only for the thickened uterine lining, not for the cyst? Also sis, anong brand ng Serrapeptase and Nattokinase ang did you order? Thanks!

Wow @momandnathan! That is the most inspiring story.

I workout a lot naman but I guess the high estrogen in my diet (I cried when I was diagnosed not because of my diagnosis, it's because my passion is cooking). I love eating out, but at the same rate, do a lot of physical workout to balance. My OB said that it was whn I probably suddenly stopped working out that my hormones went haywire. Ngayon mas mahirap mag workout ng todo for me kasi wala akong lakas kasi ang daming bawal! hahaha! Pero ang galing din, masaya din mag experiment now sa pagkain at pag kumakain sa labas. Pag gusto ko ng bawal, iniisip ko na lang, gusto mo ng BFP eh pang BFN yang ginagawa mo! Comedy na nga minsan eh. Minsan nakikitikim na lang ako kahit isang maliit na bite lang para hindi din ako mag crave ng sobra. I MISS TAHO! lol

Basta sunod lang ako kay OB sa bawal. Hopefully magka inspiring story na din ako like most of you.

sis andee, hindi ko nasusunod lahat ng bawal. ang dami kong cheat days, hehe. ang alam ko sis mas mahirap makabuo pag retroverted. ang advice nga ng dati ko OB, dapat d*ggy position pag BD.

sis jendometriosis, keri yan. balitaan mo kami pag nakapagpa second opinion ka na sis. mahirap pag natigil sa workout, ganyan din ako.. napansin ko kung ano ano tumubo sa akin when i stopped working out.

medyo kumikirot nanaman yung left side ko, sana naman hindi bumalik yung endo ko. lumipat na nga pala ako ng OB - sana si dra israel na makatulong sa amin maka bfp. nakakatuwa kasi feeling ko may na accomplish kami this weekend, matagal ko na kasi gusto pumunta sa kanya. hindi naman nya pinuna yung cyst ko. balik ako sa kanya pag dumating period ko.

Sorry na-miss ko yung question. Hehe! Well, the injections are for my hormones. Nag wiwild kasi sila! And also para daw lumiit ang cyst na din and help with endo and adenomyosis. Ang sabi ni doctora 6 months, subukan kong magpakabait pa at mag lose ng weight and healthy stuff para mag normalize baka sakali hindi ako grumaduate sa 6 months. Hehe! Then operation to truthfully diagnose staging of endo, and she said sa malamang na pag may makita pa daw silang scar tissue from endo + the cyst, isang tanggalan na lang. Pag napaliit ang cyst, kaya naman na ng lap procedure.

This is her plan of treatment. After my 6 months of injections (with monthly monitoring), ayan na, welcome na kaming mag pregnancy.

Blessing ito sa totoo lang. We just got married and problems like these really strengthens our relationship. Lalong gumagwapo sa mata ko ang asawa ko pag mas matanong pa siya sa akin pag check-up. Talagang paano ka naman hihinaan ng loob kung ganyan.

^sis, dinala ko last result ng tvs at hssg ko plus last SA ni hubby. mas ok if pa xerox nyo na kasi hihingin ni dra israel yung photocopy then sa inyo yung orig. sana sis magkasabay tayo minsan ng visit sa kanya para kahit pano may mameet ako sa mga sis natin dito.

Hey @andee_gurl - Yes para sa thickened lining lang yung hysteroscopy. Kasi pinapili ako ng OB ko noon - dahil sa price, inisip ko na sige baka naman mabuntis na ako after resolving the thickened lining. Yung cyst ko nandito pa din til now. Pati 3 myoma. So far, di naman affected si baby :-) Medyo lumalaki lang yung cyst pero sabi naman ng OB namin ganun daw talaga pag buntis.

Doctor's Best yung Serrapeptase and Nattokinase na ginamit ko. Inorder ko lang sa saveonshop hehe

Hi hello girls, may good news ako.

I just confirmed I am 5 weeks! Hopefully and pinagprapray ko na almost this is a miracle for us, ituloy na ni God hanggang full term.

It's the least month I am expecting myself to get pregnant cause I already pysched in my head (and my pockets lol) na laban na sa gamutan sige para sa BFP. All I can say is nagpakabait lang ako sa diet, exercise and vitamins. And of course, talagang God put me through it in HIs time.

Here's what I took:
-MX3 Mangosteen Capsules
-Prenatal Vitamins (na inuubos ko na lang before my supposed
 GnRH)
-Turmeric/Cucurmic Capsules (good for healing inflammations)
-Probiotic
-Ester-C 1,000mg Vit.C

Honestly mga sis, pinadugo pa ako ng OB ko for this cycle, 5 days ako uminom ng progestin to ready my endo for the GnRH. God willing hindi na ako nagka AF. So nag taka ako cause sabi in 3-5 days, expect ko na ang bleeding. Feeling ko ang progestin ay nakatulong pa sa implantation kasi yan nga ang problema nating mga may endo and adeno -- low progesterone and high estrogen. Parang na support ang progesterone (pregnancy hormone).

Ang galing ni God. Nakinig siya i-course niya ang blessing through sa doctor.

Sorry long post, I just really wanted to share this miracle to all of you. I win over endometriosis and adenomyosis (for now), PCOS, Ovarian Cyst, and Retroverted Uterus.

And malaking bagay also na may nashashare-an ako dito. Kahit di man tayo magkakakilala in person, ang laking relief. Thank you all!

btw mga sis what do you mean ba by BFP, GnRH, AF? I have endo pero never pa ako pina inject ng kahit na ano. so I never experience mga binaggit nyo dito..

Hi girls, makikisali lang ako sa good news 

I had my check-up last saturday and ang ganda ng result. Last ultrasound ko ng May, the size of my cyst was 6.something cm pa.. Then this August, after 3 months of taking Visanne, naging 4 cm na lang, actually yung max size ang kinuha ng OB ko which is 4.8cm para mas precise daw. Yung endometrium ko has thinned already. Nakakatuwa kasi at first sabi pa ng dra. 'totoo ba itong nakikita ko?" kaya ayun inulit ulit nya talaga yung pagkuha ng size. Magandang experiment daw pala ako. lol!

Sana next check up ko mawala na sya ng tuluyan para no need na for surgery, just before mawala yung effect ng gamot sa system ko. (usually after 8 months of taking Visanne daw, nagpa-plateau na lang yung size ng cyst dahil wala na effect yung gamot)

I'm super grateful to God talaga sa improvement ko.

Good evening.... ask ko lang po kung naexperience nyo po ba na delay period for 3 months after ng shots ng depo?  Normal po ba yun? Nagtry din ako ng pt once pero negative....   Inaantay ko kasi magkaperiod ako bago bumalik sa ob....

Nag aalala din ako baka kumapal ang lining ko dahil hindi na talaga ako nagkakaperiod....

^magkaiba sis. ang endometriosis nasa ovaries and myoma nasa uterus naman.

Myoma are categorised by where they grow in the uterus.

-Subserous or subserosal myoma develop on the outside of the uterus and usually have the least symptoms. Subserous myoma can grow to be very large. Subserous myoma can become pedunculated as they grow, meaning they can develop a stalk.

-Intramural myoma are located in the wall of the uterus and are the most common. They can cause the uterus to bulge.

-Submucous or Submucosal myoma are found within uterine lining and can protrude into the uterine cavity. Generally, these are ones that can cause the most problems. Since they are located in the uterine endometrium, they can cause heavy orrolonged bleeding during menstruation.
