Hi girls. I noticed wala nang gumawa ng new thread for Endometriosis. Let's talk about it here.

Have you tried Vissane? It's the new pill formulated for endometriosis.

I found out I have this just last month.  Last ultrasound ko was September last year, pero wala naman nito. Nakakalungkot na ganun sya kabilis tumubo. I have it on both ovaries, nasa 3cm yung sa right tapos 2cm sa left. Sabi ni OB, pag nagkaron ako bumalik ako sa kanya kasi reresetahan daw nya ako ng pills, 3months para paliitin daw yung cyst. Sis x-y, natry mo na yung vissane? Kung sakali kasi, it will be my first time to take pills. TTC pa naman kami, hubby ko naman may varicocele. Sabi tuloy ni OB, parang sinalo namin lahat. OK lang sa akin basta magagamot at makakabuo eventually. May mga nabasa kasi ako na after nila mag take ng pills at naclear endo problems nila, nakabuo..

Yes sis. I already tried Vissane. 3-4 months akong nagganun. Daming side effects. Suffered from it for the first month until nakaadapt na yun body ko. Then yun, lumiit naman yun cyst sa right pero sa left ko lumaki pa rin so naoperahan nanaman ako.

Count me in mga sis I was diagnosed to have endometriosis 8yrs ago.. When I was operated.. Oopherectomy .. Right ovary ko yung tinanggal.. Then I gave birth 3yrs after that.. Then unti unting bumabalik nanaman yung symptoms until hindi ko na kinayanan at nag pills na ako

Thank God for Althea. My last ultrasound and pap smear was Feb.. All is clear. But my next problem is:

1. Mag 5th year na ako in taking pills next year Feb. I should stop na but for now wala pang alternative. My obgyn oncologist (the one who operated on me) suggested to use Mirena (IUD only found sa States)

2. Findings from my first ever sonomammogram showed that I have a lot of hypoechoic cysts :_( By August I should go back for a digital mammogram

sis momentum, bakit umabot ng 5years yung pag take mo ng pills, if i may ask? saka yung hypoechoic cysts, side effect ba yun ng pag take mo ng pills? natakot naman ako mag take ng pills.. wala ba ibang way para maalis yung endo..

Sis don't worry kasi ako may 2 endo na 2 cm angki sa left ovary ko detected sya noong 2011 before kami kinasal ni DH.  Regular mens ako normal cycle 28-29 akala ko before UTI kaya sumasakit tagiliran ko yun pala eto yung cause.  Pinag pills ako ni ob pero naka 7  lang ako kasi hindi ko kinaya suka, hilo at sakit ng ulo ang side effects sa akin so stop ko na lang. 

Pero last oct 2013 sa tvs ko .4cm na lang, wala ako ininom na gamot nawala naman.  Kaya mawawala din yan ask mo si OB mo kung ano pede gawin.  Sa bago kong OB sa CGH nabanggit ko na meron pa rin ako pero maliit na lang sabi na try ko daw uminom ng guyabano leaves tea.  Patuyuin at pakuluan ko then yun ang inumin ko.  Alam mo na chinese yung OB ko kaya ok sa kanya ang herbal medicine.

^thank you sis. anong pills yung hindi hiyang sayo? naku, akala ko rin dati UTI yung pagsakit sakit ng tagiliran ko. akala ko rin noon ovulation pain, kasi napapansin ko kapag fertile ako, saka may kirot pero nagtataka ako kasi sa right lang lagi, ito na pala yun, at kaya siguro sa right yung pain kasi mas malaki yung sa right ko, 3cm.  since 2011 nagpapa-OB ako tapos last dalaw ko kay OB september 2013, naging busy sa work tapos last month, sa ibang OB na ako, ito na result. galing naman sis, super liit na ng endo mo. sa CGH yung isa kong OB, kaso hindi naniniwala sa herbal. hindi na rin ako makapunta kasi hindi swak sa sched ko yung clinic hours nya. pwede malaman sino ob mo sa CGH sis?

the only reason I could think of bakit ako umabot na ng 4.5yrs taking Althea is I guess convenience..
At first I was very very hesitant..takot sa side effects..at first ang sama ng side effects sakin..i used to take it kasi in the morning..then when I started taking it at night..mas naging ok..until no more symptoms at all..nag-adjust yung body ko and my God I liked the feeling na ZERO pain ako during my period, shorter period days..hindi kasing lakas hindi tulad dati..hindi na ako pinipimples,,hindi na akong naging oily..somehow nag-iba rin hair ko (?)..ano pa ba hahanapin ko?  lol

kaya ako tumagal na ng ganitong katagal. I didn't visit na my obgyn oncologist after I got operated. My mom brought me to several alternative doctors but none of them helped me with my dysmennorhia, etc..only Althea did.

Kaya lang naman ako pumunta uli sa obgyn oncologist ko, after 8yrs of not seeing him lol, is to give him an update sakin at ipakita results ng sonomammogram ko, ultrasound, etc. Tinanong ko sa kanya ano cause nito, is it because of the pills..sabi niya no..wala rin kami history sa family namin ..yung pills kasi nowadays, hindi gaya nung sinaunang panahon, eh modern na at walang side-effect na ganyan.

Yung left ovary ko, na polycystic..for now ok siya..very quiet nga daw eh..wala pang "development"..I just have to monitor it every year via ultrasound..

^hello sis, thank you sa reply. i see, ok pala pag sa gabi sya tinake. ganun pala yun, magkakaron pa rin pala kahit nagpipills na. kasi sabi ni OB, kailangan ko magpills para di ako magkaron, yun daw kasi pinanggagalingan nung endo kaya akala ko hindi magkakaron while on pills, haha. ang ganda pala ng effects sayo, bigla tuloy ako natuwa. yung bestfriend ko, nagpipills din sya, tinanong ko sya kung nagpapaderma sya kasi ang ganda talaga ng skin nya, tapos walang pimples. yun daw ang effect sa kanya nung pills. sana maging ok din ang effect sa akin ng pills. thank you sis.

^ I guess hiyangan talaga sis sa pills eh. baka yung effect sa iba hindi nagkaka period. Pero usually talaga meron ka..at what's nice is alam mo eksaktong date kung kelan ka mag-kakaroon, provided na you didn't miss taking it for days.

napansin ko din lumiit pores ko..at yun nga hindi nagiging oily, no more pimples..mejo nag firm din breasts ko..pero minsan ewan bakit nawawala yun  . Pero sis like what I said, hiyangan talaga ito. May iba na nag gagain weight, pinipimples ng todo, laging masakit ulo..basta hindi hiyang sa kanila. Hanapin mo nalang yung hiyang sayo at yung ok sa obgyn mo..and alam ko lang kasi na nagapatigil ng period is a certain kind of injectible..not sure of the brand pero ganun..mejo hindi rin maganda side effects nun kaya I stayed away from them..


nakatulong din ang pills sa endo ko sabi ni doc..kaya siguro hanggang now very quiet yung left ovary ko..kaya ituloy ko muna at magkita nalang kami next year para pag-usapan next step..kasi pang 5th year ko na sa Althea..sabi talaga niya Menopause or ligation is the solution sa endo..he doesn't recommend getting pregnant as the solution, although it helps stop it, pero that is good ONLY for 9 months..once lumabas na si baby, balik sa dati..katulad ng nangyari sakin..akala ko after ko manganak, huwaw, wala na akong pain na nararamdaman pag may period ako or what..pero months passed by, unting unting nagcre-creep yung pain nanaman hanggang sa talagang hindi ko na matolerate pag may period ako! sobrang lumalaki tyan ko na parang 5-6months preggy..sobrang sakit tagiliran ko..I got so scared..so thats when I decided to take Althea..after syempre consulting with another obgyn..

^^sabagay sis, hiyangan nga talaga kahit saang gamot. ganun pala yun, pwedeng mag reoccur? waah. yung OB ko, sabi nya meron din daw syang endo, kaso nawala dahil sunod sunod syang nagbuntis, halos di raw sya nagkakaron kaya ayun. sa mens daw kasi nakukuha yun, ang hirap maging babae. haay, sana mawala rin yung sa akin para after nun makapag focus na ulit kami sa work up at magka baby na. thank you sis!

naoperahan ak last year. kakagaling ko lang sa doc kanina ang saki sakit kasi since kahapon (ayoko lang magpa emergency room) after the ultra sound anjan na naman siya ulit althout maliit pa lang. sana mabuntis na ako. please pray for me and for hubby. nakasked ang hgh ko sa fri..

I also have recurring cysts. It started 2011 when i had intense pain in my abdomen, yun pala i have an 8cm cyst and another 5cm cyst on the other ovary. I had the cysts removed (doctor found 3) but unfortunately after 6/7 months, may growth ulit. I decided against having anoter operation and resorted to alternatives - a little of acupuncture, juicing, guyabano leaves tea, grapeseed oil and watched my diet (no pork and beef). I also had 2 doses of GNrH agonist which nade my cyst shrink just a bit.  Then 2013, I got pregnant naturally with the cyst there. I just gave birth last Feb2014 and my Ob removed the cyst. However, he said that once i get my period, the cysts may go back. he is prescribing IUD also. Has anybody tried this? Any side effects? Its good for 5yrs daw an shoul also help with my myoma and adenomyosis.

^ IUD din the best resort for me rin sabi ng obgyn oncologist ko.. He recommended Mirena.. Can only be found in the U.S..

For the insertion, he will put me to sleep pa. Tapos he's also asking me to take evening primrose to soften the cervix daw. I might do it this May. I'm hoping sagutin ng company and IUD and anesthesia. Let's see.

My mom had this before.they remove th cyst but after 6 years she was diagnosed with cervical Ca.sabi nuns Doctor Kung nakapag larva cine ng anti cervical ca vaccine lab it papano an prevent.

No sis I have not tried. Though I asked my Aunt in the U.S to get a prescription for it sa obgyn niya and buy it for me..kaso hindi naabot sa pagpunta ng papa ko dito

My obgyn said naman he will put it while on my 2nd day period. doesn't need anesthesia..hindi ko alam bakit sayo kelangan? kasi naalala ko din I had a yaya before na she made me kwento nagpalagay din siya nun sa  center sa barangay nila and yun nga during her period din..I wonder bakit kelangan patulugin ka pa?

Hi girls. Ask ko lang kung may nag try na sa inyo ng herbal meds for endo? How about homeopathy? I have 2cm sa left and 4cm sa right. Sabi ng OB ko need laparoscopy or yung iinject na gamot para lumiit yung cysts. Kaso nabasa ko na may pangit na effects pareho. Sa former, pwede raw may maalis na tissues sa ovary while the latter naman nakakanipis daw ng buto. Naisip ko sana yung 2nd option ang ipagawa, buti nagbasa basa muna ako dito. Hindi na raw kasi kaya ng meds/pills yung 4cm na cyst eh. Pls help! Thank you.
