I got my Graco pack n play today from BabySavers. Excited mag-assemble just to see how it looks like pero syempre, we had to disassemble din after kasi maaalikabukan lang haha. I feel na i can rest easy now that the big purchase is done. Di pa tapos ang shopping, of course. I have to find fitted sheets and mattress protector pa (anyone has reco?). And buy more cloth diapers from Thrifty Mama plus haven't gotten any feeding paraphernalia yet. And also, excited na maglaba ng baby clothes. Sana umaraw na! Hehe.

I am experiencing toothache sa  bagang taas at baba yung masakit, sadly , we are not allowed to take mefenamic 
OB told me to take paracetamol instead. Sobrang namimilipt ako sa sakit umiiyak ako magdamag dahil sa toothache and then, biglang naisip ko... what if active labor comes? Toothache pa lang parang mamamatay na ko sa sakit at talagang umiiyak ako. Ano na lang mangyayari sa akin pag labor na? (ayun.. parang nabawasan ang toothache nung naisip ko ang labor)
Kaya im praying kagabi na sana kayanin ko ang labor pains 
Kasi naman.. schedule na ng pagbunot nito last april when i found out that i am preggy pala.

Also realized na lahat ng pain kaya tiisin para babies natin..
Goodluck sa atin lahat dito..  currently on my 31st week, ilang weeks na lang pwede na.. sana kayanin ang NSD.

Hi mga mommies! I'm on my 30th week and I'm just wondering, gaano kalikot ang mga babies niyo? Sa'kin kasi hindi siya ganun kalikot. I mean compared to what some of my preggy friends are describing, hindi ganun ka-active si Baby Girl ko. I already informed my OB and tuwing check-up ko naman sabi niya malikot naman daw. Pero hindi ko gaano nafi-feel. May times na malikot siya like ramdam ko na tumutusok tusok yung bony parts niya but most of the time parang "muffled" yung movements niya. I'm paranoid pa naman kaya yesterday nagpunta ako sa nearby lying-in just to have my baby checked. Ayun okay naman siya.

Any thoughts on this? Other details pala, this is my first pregnancy and my placenta is anterior and as of last UTZ eh breech siya.

It could be because your placenta is anterior - meaning it's located at the front as opposed to posterior, towards your back.

With my daughter, my placenta was anterior and when I read up on it the only thing mentioned was that you may feel less movement in your belly as your placenta acts as a cushion to your baby's movements. I recall at 22/23 weeks I felt some movement with my daughter but nothing really strong or "defined", more like ripples or waves.

With my second baby, my placenta is located posterior and I started feeling movement at 18 weeks and at 22/23 weeks he's so llikot! I feel each and every move that he makes.

Don't worry though, once the baby gets larger you will feel a lot more movement, whether anterior or posterior located placenta. Come your third trimester your OB will ask you to monitor movements and report any decrease in movement.

Ang active na ni Baby ko. Grabe palikot na sya ng palikot. Siksik sa ribs talaga.
Lageng matigas yung tyan ko. Nakakanerbyos feeling ko lalabas na sya.
Kase minsan sumasakit down there, feel na feel ko din sa puson.

okay lang yan sis elarose, mga 20 weeks or later ko pa ata naramdaman baby ko na lumikot e. Baka babae ang baby mo kaya ganun.. Usually daw pag lalake super likot sa tyan e. Madalas din manigas nag tyan ko sabi ni ob basta daw di every 10 mins or may routine e ok lang yun. Super likot talaga ng baby ko kaya ang bilis din ng fetal rate nya e..

ilovetigger - sis, i'm 30 weeks, too and breech din Bebe Girl namin. if your OB says okay si baby, then there's no need to worry. ang ginagawa ko ko now is I monitor her movements twice a day, 1 sa morning after breakfast and another session at night bago ako matulog. I have to record 10 movements within an hour, awa ng Diyos, less than 20mins nakaka-10 na kami. Just lay down still & hold your tummy para ma-feel mo even her faintest movement. If you have a pregnancy app like Baby Center or What To Expect, meron silang kick counter.

Kaya pala wala kaming mabili na tetanus shot sa drugstores is because DOH pulled it out from the drugstores & mga hospitals na lang ang pwedend magbigay nito. And it should be free of charge. Bagong policy lang yata ito ng DOH, even my OB didn't know about this until nung nagpa-inject ako. So I'm not sure if hospitals has the same procedure. Better check with your OB or pharmacy.

NGayon lang ako gumamit sis ng Maternity panties... Niregaluhan kasi ako ng tita ko e - dapat daw maternity panties na ginagamit ko. Ayun bumili pa ako ng additional saka bra extenders. Or dapat ba nursing bra na gamit ko - yung walang wire daw?

Mas comfortable nga yung maternity panty  saka iwas din daw sa stretchmarks..

Handwash lang ba mga clothes ng baby nyo? O pwede naman washing machine? Delicate washing na lang. Para di masyado iwawave?

^ 3 lang yun maternity panties ko (from Mothercare).  Na-realize ko same lang sya sa mga low-rise ko kaya di ko na dinagdagan. I think any panty will do na below the belly and thick yun sides para di masyado mag dig in sa skin.

Just get maternity bras for now, sis. Wala syang wire and has thicker straps. Super comfy! Nung bumili ako nung 2nd tri ko, naisip ko dapat 1st tri pa lang bumili na ko. Sarap isuot! Nabili ko sa Mothercare was on sale so around 300-400 lang sya. Sana may sale din pag bumili na ko ng nursing bra.

Wow Thank you sis sa advise... Macheck nga ang mother care... Binili ko kasi 5 pcs na maternity eh plus yung gift pa saking 3.. Sa soen at sogo lang naman... Mejo masikip na kasi sakin yung mga regular panties ko kahit low rise pa sila e... matry nga yang maternity bra kahit dalawa haha!

^ push mo yan, sis hun_nie08! 2 lang yun maternity bras ko but i actually need at least 4 kasi kahit sa bahay lang, i want to wear it. Now nagtitiis ako sa bigger sized underwire bras i bought nung first tri ko. Di ko naisip na may cheaper brands nga naman pala like Sogo and Soen hehe. Oh well, 10 weeks to go na lang naman.

Sis Len0523, i want to handwash yun baby clothes kasi parang ang delicate nila hihi. Saka ang konti lang ng binili ko, i can't afford na mag-shrink or something.

Sis Len0523  oo nga at 31 weeks IE na agad.. nag check up ako yesterday eh nag IE na si OB..  ayun breech pa rin daw. Though nakakapa na daw nya pero hindi pa daw talaga head ni baby yun.

Every 2 weeks na check up namin, im not sure lang kung IE na ba yun every meeting?

Regarding naman sa maternity undies, i only have 5 maternity panty (sogo brand lang) costs 70 pesos lang ata each and 2 na bra (sogo lang din)
bought those nung mga 20 weeks pa lang ako.. lalo yung bra kasi medyo malusog talaga sya 
And may konting milk na ko as early as 5 months ko medyo nababasa na yung damit ko pero as in konti lang.

And then, Sa damit naman ni baby.. handwash lang sya lahat ni hubby.

Waahh! Sipag naman ni hubby mo. Haha. I talked to mine last night, and I said it really needs to be handwash not machine wash, and he said, he will to figure out daw in our washing machine in such a way na hindi madadamage yung mga damit ni baby. Kase may choices naman dun kung normal wash, delicate, bleaching, quick wash etc. So fingers-crossed sana hindi madadamage. Yung mga tie-sides ni baby. 

Sabi nung OB ko pag daw nagstart na yung every two weeks, IE na daw yun. Kaya lang last time, ibang OB naman nirefer saken so uncomfortable talaga ako kaya back out ako.

Wait na lang sa OB na out of the country.

Any suggestions kung ano pa ang pwede ipabili sa US? For now ang alam ko lang maganda ipabili sa US is [textspeak!] Avent na bottles. If you have time, please help me think of baby stuff na pwede ipabili. TIA!

You may want to consider buying your sterilizer too (check for voltage though), playard, etc.

Hi sis...expensive naman ng tetanus vaccine... I got mine at free sa health center, then my OB-Gyne also advise it lessen the expenses.. Same lang naman daw yun sa mga hospital or other clinics and reliable din daw ang mga center kasi iniinspect din sila..lalo na ang mga vaccine./...just sharing
