Lagi sya naiyak kasi gutom then di umaalis sa 6kg weight nya since last month. This week nag mix feed na ulit kami, we tried mixed feeding kaso nahirapan sya mag poop till now. Kaya balik kaming ebf until last week. My baby will be turning 6mo 2weeks from now.

Sorry mahaba po, actually my big problem is gusto ko i ebf sana ang baby ko till gusto nya kaso sobrang kunti ng milk supply ko.I only get 2oz per hand express pag nasa work ako( nasira po kasi manual pump ko) paano po ako makaka pag padami ng supply. I am taking NATALAC, OATMEAL, UNLI WATER esp sa work. Mommies please help. Thankyou in advance :) :)

Nope, no other effects naman aside sa milk increase. Pwede pala generic? Its really expensive kasi! Imagine, 2 tabs 3 x a day. I took it for 3 months, pero gradual ang pag decrease. Like 1st month 3 x a day then 2nd month 2x and once nung 3rd month ko na. I stopped for a month and umonti talaga output ko. So I am taking it again for another month.  :)

^ mommy, have you tried power pumping? And unli-latch si baby when you're home? Just continue on making baby latch sa yo.. and perhaps power-pumping can help you din, especially pag weekend when you're home..

nag-6mos na baby mo. Nag start ka na introduce solids? I noticed kasi na when we started with solids, medyo bumaba milk consumption ni baby ko. pag ganun, baka mas mahabol mo yung breastmilk quantity na kelangan nya..

Mommy what do you mean power pumping? Wala pa syang 6mo, 2 weeks from now pa po dya mag sosolid. Pag weekends naman po di po kami maka unli latch since ako din po gumagawa sa bahay like laundry and stuff. 😔😔😔

^^ sorry sis, now ko lang nabasa post mo. Anyway, power pumping is:

Pump for 20 mins, rest 10 mins, pump 10mins, rest 10mins, pump 10mins.

Bale 1hr sya na session. It's like simulating a growth spurt or cluster feeding. Most working moms I know do this pag weekends, once in the morning paggising then once again sa hapon or gabi. Oftentimes, they also pump one boob while the baby is latched sa kabila.

As to doing chores, you might want to consider baby-wearing. Most carriers allow you to breastfeed while baby is being worn. It provides an option to multitask since you can go hands-free while baby-wearing..

Breastmilk is not a gauge to say na naging good or bad mother ka. We are more than animals. Hindi ka cow na gatasan lang. We can show our child love and affection in some ways other than breastfeeding.

Yes pwede pa dumami ang milk mo. Is your baby still latching well on you? You can do skin to skin, power pumping etc. Also google supplementary nursing system, para siyang necklace na you can put formula or breastmilk tapos attached yung tube sa nipple mo so whenever your baby latches on you hindi siya maffrustate kasi lagi siyang may nakukuha.

^^ sis, don't be sad. You did not fail as a mom. Breastfeeding is one way for us to show/express our love to our babies pero it's not the only way. And we all have different circumstances naman e. Hindi porke nag-fm e bad mother na. Cheer up, Mommy. :)

Continue mo lang pa-latch si baby. And power-pump if you can, it might work to keep your supply up.. keep yourself hydrated well.. and relax.. stress lowers breastmilk supply din..

mommies, question lang if i pump and keep the milk in the freezer pag iinumin na ba ni baby ithathaw ko yung milk diba and then ok ba gamitan ng warmer? some say kasi nawawala daw un minerals ng milk e. how long ang span ng milk na na completely thaw? i get kasi around 150ml per pumping and my baby can only consume 2oz per feeding pano kaya yun? tia

^ Mommy, what i do is i store milk in smaller quantities. At first basa 2oz per container/bag. Ngayon nasa 3-4oz per bag na pag-store ko. Para isang serving per container/bag.

Running water lang sis, or lukewarm water. Minsan nga straight from the ref iniinom nya e.

Or if frozen then ipapainom kinabukasan, sa gabi pa lang ibaba na sa ref section. Para pagdating ng morning e tunaw na. Mas mabilis na mabigay kay baby.

^ from freezer, once fully thawed, good for 24hrs pa yung milk. So before, sa gabi magbababa ako ng 3-4 bags. Then if tantya ng yaya na kukulangin, magbababa sya ng 2 bags ng tanghali or hapon.

You may store your bags na naka-flat sa freezer para mas tipid sa space. Yung 2-3oz na flat, super-nipis lang nun. Very space-saving.

What i do now is nasa ref yung for immediate consumption (within 5-7 days), sa bottles/containers nakalagay. then the rest nasa freezer na, naka-storage bag stored flat.

Hi mommies! I just gave birth last April 1 to my identical twins and I'm really trying my best to breastfeed them. Nothing beat mother's milk talaga. :)

Bottle feeding kami for about 2 days na siguro. Extra challenging since dalawa sila, sometimes sabay pa manghingi ng milk. But kinakaya naman. 😃

Happy breastfeeding mommies!

^ congrats on your twins! For inspiration, check out @mamachows on Instagram. She has been exclusively breastfeeding her twins for over 10 months na. :)

^^^ yes, you may still offer sa next feeding. Just smell/taste before giving to baby, to make sure na hindi nag-spoil (esp if medyo matagal na since the last feeding).
