Mga sis, baka naman hindi talaga hungry si baby but since umiiyak siya kala nyo gutom siya. Kasi napaka-impossible naman na every hour need mag-feed ng baby since growth spurts just last a few days.

I just pump once a day during my first feed in the morning. In one breast i can get 3-4 oz. If ever dumami ng todo ang stash ko i'll donate kasi baby still latches to me directly and she is very efficient. In 5-7 mins kaya niyang i-drain ang isang breast. Kala ko nga nung una tamad lang siyang uminom but okay ang output niya. Nakukuha din niya yung hind milk kasi mustardly yellow pa rin ang poop niya and in a day 3-5 times ang poop niya.

Hi mga sis, my lo is now 2.5 months, we feed by demand or for 2-3 hrs. Tanong ko lang kung hangang ilan months ganon ang pagfeed kay baby? Lalo na at night, di ba as they get older pede na sila matulog ng mas mahaba. Less na yung paggising sa gabi to feed. I suppose they will drink more before they sleep at night, lalo na pag bottlefed nakikita natin yung consumption ni baby. Ganun nga ba? Pano pag direct latch, mas matagal yung feeding time?

Mine started sleeping 12 hours at night without feeding at 15 weeks old, i was feeding 5x a day then. But i dont feed by demand instead i do a parent led schedule. Now at 7 months, i feed 4 times a day (plus 2 solids) nalang and he sleeps 11-12 hours at night.

Wow! 12hrs straight? Sarap naman nun. I wanted to try yung parent led schedule pero di ko kaya tiisin si baby. Btw sis, yung last feeding nya at night, direct latch yun or bottlefed? If bottle, how much ang tina-take nya?

Direct latch sis. Pero na try ko na mag bottle, he took about 7- 8 oz. Take note im already giving solids now. With Parent led feeding you still feed your baby when they are hungry even if its out of schedule. I highly recommend you read a copy of Babywise then decide if it fits you.

If you feed by demand, your baby will eventually sleep through the night din naman, about 6-8 hours at 3 months (if your lucky). Usually baby girls sleep through earlier than baby boys.

^^Thanks sis. I was wondering din kase kung pano and kelan dapat simulan ang pag-eextend ng sleep ni baby. Right now, we still wake her up at night evey 3 hrs for feeding. At 3 months, dapat ba habaan ko na yung oras before ko sya gisingin or dapat ba kung kelan sya magising dun na lang kame magfeed? Sorry kung medyo ot.

Also, do you still pump every 3 hrs kahit longer na yung interval ng feeding time ni baby? Or nakakapag-keep up naman yung supply kahit mas madalang na magfeed/pump?

I fed every 3 hours round the clock until my baby was 4 weeks old. Nung ng 5 weeks na siya i chose a bedtime (9pm) then id feed him when he wakes up on his own after 9pm.

I used to pump before i sleep and a little before my baby wakes up. Thats when i was able to build my stash. Nung okay na stash ko, i stopped pumping when he was sleeping. Eventually my body was able to adjust with my baby sleeping 12 hours at night. I dont get painful and leaking boobs when i wake up anymore.

By a year old most nutrition daw ng baby should be coming from solids and milk intake should be mga 300ml/day nalang baka kaya your body is making little milk nalang kasi konti nalang consumption ni baby kasi mostly solids na siya?

Ahh, I see.. Since about 7 weeks si lo ko, she's already sleeping from around 6pm-6am, but we wake her up every 3 hrs to feed. Pwede pala hintayin ko na syang hintayin ng gumising kung gutom. Thanks sis!  :)

I'm a working mom.  :) downside lang is its super expensive, I think Php30.00 ++ per tab.  ;D

^^ sis, ako i was taking it 2-3 times a day. then gradual yung pagstop.

Kung namamahalan kayo sa motilium, you can take generic naman. i think mga Php10- Php12 per piece yung generic.

mga sis, how long ang breastfeeding session nyo?  madalas ko mabasa dapat daw 30-45 mins, at least 15 mins each breast. si baby kasi usually nakaka-isang breast lang siya then mga 10 mins lang, ayaw na niya. she feeds every 2 hours, minsan every 1.5 hours. basta i feed by demand. pero iniisip ko baka di enough yung nadedede niya every feeding. pag pinipilit ko naman, ayaw na nya talaga at umiiyak na.

also, sabi ng pedia niya and nabasa ko din na pag sunken yung bumbunan niya, she's dehyrated and needs to feed. eh kaya lang ayaw pa din niya dumedede. worry ko lang baka madehydrate na siya.

how old is your baby? Pang newborn lang yung 30-45 minutes per session sis.

My son is now 8 months old and although I do not time his sessions like before, feeling ko he does 10 minutes max for both breast na ha. For our last feeding of the day, he does 20- 30 minutes pero madaming comfort sucking yun.
