Question po: do you need to put your expressed milk immediately sa fridge or freezer?

^ I follow the 3-3-3 rule.

Pag nasa room lang, pwede til 3 hours. Pag nasa ref pwede til 3 days, then if still not consumed, I transfer to the freezer na (til 3 months).

Pero minimum limits yan, alam ko pwede mas matagal. Conservative lang ako

^sis vainkixie, halos sabay lang tayo nag give birth right? How are you able to let baby sleep longer at night? that's so amazing! Baby feeds pa din every 2-3 hours every night for 10-15 minutes lang then will go back go sleep right away.

Anyway, yes I'll  just pump and pump and pump. Sana mag double kahit 2 oz per breast per pump para maka 4 oz. sana per pump. I won't give up! I can do this.

Regarding the expressed milk, okay lang naman pagsamahin yung mga na sa ref ko na expressed milk before I put it in the freezer right? Kahit from different days, okay lang? Or same day dapat? Para iisang storage bags lang sana.

I do not feed my baby by demand, i do parent led feeding sis. Feed every 3 hours whether asleep or awake then let my baby demand for milk after his scheduled sleep time (10pm). Medyo mahirap explain here and baka ma ot tayo. I read a book called babywise and applied it on my baby. Its a controversial topic pero well i see my son thriving. Ang weight is for a 6 month old na. I get sleep, baby sleeps, baby gains weight and with that i get extra stash pa.

I gave some of my milk kanina sa st lukes qc. Ayun tuwa naman sila they gave me lactacyd baby wash pero sana milk bags nalang. So yeah every pedia visit i'll give my extra stash. Anyone knows a milk bank who gives milk bags in exchange?

My right nipple's bleeding! Sakit usually ng paglatch ni baby pero kanina I noticed may blood na talaga. I think proper naman paglatch niya and I usually pull down her chin pag hindi pero masakit pa rin for the 1st few seconds super. Any advice?

^sis maybe you can check if may clogged duct ka, research mo symptoms. Nangyari sakin yun before, nag bleed ng konti nung natatanggal na yung clog. Or, did your nipple area get extra dry these last few days? Me kasi, nangyari din sakin yun several weeks ago after we went to the beach. Nag-dry nipples ko so medyo naging susceptible to cracks. 

Pero so far ngayon ok ok na.  Hay, ang mga Breastfeeding adventures!

3 weeks baby and pure BF kami. Dami ko natutunan doon sa Breastfeeding pinays about sa breastfeed.

aside from mga sabaw na may maraming malunggay mga sis try nyo rin yung sinabawan na shells. not sure kasi ano tawag doon pero nabibili yon sa market. yung pagniluto niyo whitish yung sabaw niya. good for milk production din yon.

tonette815 - hi sis, it's called halaan.  and yep, super effective nga yun. Pag nagluluto ako nun, hinahaluan ko rin ng malunggay leaves, kaya grabe, overflowing ang milk ko after eating. Leakage!!! LOL

Hi mommies.. please help me. My baby is now 4mon old mixed formula and breastmilk siya. Gusto ko sana ibalik cya s pure breastmilk as recomended din ng pedia nya.pero s ngayon inaayawan n nya breast ko. Umiiyak cya pg inooffer ko.at ngwawala. What will I do.dati nman hnd cya ganun.. for now express milk [textspeak!] naiibbgay ko to her at formula dahil 2-3oz [textspeak!] nkukuha ko breastmilk a day..by hand [textspeak!] kc gamit ko..please help.. kya ko pb ibalik s pure bf baby ko?
I also taking natalac for 1week now to increase my supply..mkkpagincrease ba ito kahit d cya directly ngbbf skn?

sis mukhang kailangan mo mag invest ng electric breast pump... i bought a spectra 350 from babymama.ph, ang lakas nga ng suction power nya.... bahay pa lang naman ako lagi kaya ok lang na medyo mabigat siya....

almost exclusive breastfeeding na din ako.... super minsan na lang ako nagbibigay ng formula kay baby... usually once na lang pagmadaling araw... 2 oz lang....

nakakakuha na din ako ng at least 2 oz per pump ko on both breast kaya di na kinukulang si baby.... pero kapag inabutan ako mga 6 hours na di nakakapagpump, bonggang 4 oz. yung nakukuha ko

yes sis, double electric na yung spectra 350... 7400 yung hili ko last month...

halos kaprice na lang siya ng avent manual pump...

kung di ka exclusive pumping try considering spectra cimilre m1 dun din yung kay babymama.ph kasi mabibitbit mo yun kahit saan.... yung sakin kasi nakalagay lang siya sa sa isang pwesto dito sa bahay e

@ianmenchu - sis, may plugged ducts ko ako sa right breast ko. Sakit! Tiis na lang. Sa left naman walang plugged ducts pero masakit pa rin. Sabi naman ng friends ko nawawala din daw pain eventually so hintayin ko na lang araw na yun.

Ako din feeling ko kailangan ko ng electric pump kasi hirap ako magpump. Nagagawa ko lang na makapump ng marami with the help of my husband habang nagffeed si lo sa kabila. Otherwise kapiranggot lang nakukuha ko.

Mga sis, what do you use as breast milk storage? Yung mga pouches diba single-use lang yun? So better magbottle? Any recommendations?

I use milk storage bags kasi its saves space vs milk bottles. I buy mine online so far wala naman leaks. Nabili ko kay liquidgoldph parang 6php/bag siya. I tried orange and peach from mercury too and okay din no leaks kahit na manipis yung plastic. It saves more space din sa fridge over the makapal na plastic i buy online.

Hay i dunno if its a wonder week or my son just became a fast eater pero it usually takes 30-45 minutes for him to eat when he was younger ngayon 10-15 minutes nalang, matagal na yung 20. As nagsisipa na siya when i try to latch him, he is now 11 weeks old. Pag mga 3 months old ba how fast to they feed?

I got my first aim na makapag exclusive breastfeed through pumping and now im putting my first 4oz milk sa fridge

ako sis im planning to use muna yung storage bottles, bought four sa bebeta pero I also have na milk storage bags para ma inspire a magstock ng milk.... my goal is to just have enough for a month supply kay babay sa fridge para kapag umalis or may errands, she can still have my breastmilk.

ang mahal din ng enfalac a+ a small can cost 500+ na, i think it will only last for a week or two kung pure formula fed lang si baby.

Help mga sis. Wala pa rin ako milk. 3 days na since i gave birth. Last nigh lang kami nag start ni baby. Sabi ni doc ipa suck ko lang raw kay baby hanggang mag karoon ng milk. Any tips po? Thanks

Do skin to skin as well tapos yun nga ang the best pa latch  ka lang pa latch. Drink malunggay capsules. Fenugreek helped me too. Also dont stress yourself too much.

yes sis munchkins ipa suck mo sa kanya kahit dilaan lang ni baby nakakastimulate na yan, you can pump it too pero mas ok pa try mo ipasuck kahit every 2 hours, hanngang kaya dont give formula

Latch ng latch, sis. Tsaka massage the breasts.. then drinks lots of water. And relax, try not to stress..
