^ naku sis, ganyan din ako nung minsan magkalumps.. todo hot compress talaga, tsaka massage ng breast, then pump.. kinagabihan na bago nawala yung akin.. kakatakot din pala..
Me time din na sumakit ang likod ko. Sabi nung helper ko, dahil sa milk din daw yun, madami di lumabas, minsan daw the lumps e hindi lang sa boobie itself, aabot daw sa side or kahit sa me sa bandang back na.. nung sya daw kasi, when she stopped breastfeeding her son, ayun super-sakit daw back nya at nagkalumps sya sa sides and back.. balik na ako now sa weekly body massage home-service session so di ko na ulit na-feel yun sakit sa back..
Re malunggay supplement, I started on my 35th week yata yun, as suggested by a bfeeding friend. Once a day lang muna nun, 2 capsules. When I gave birth, ginawa ko na twice a day, 2 capsules at a time.
Two things I realized on how to have a successful breastfeeding journey: 1) we must believe that we are able to provide nourishment for our baby, kahit wala tayo nakikitang flowing milk sa simula, sige lang. Basta me wiwi si baby, me nakukuha sya sa atin.. wag agad ma-discourage; 2) support group is very important. Especially yung mga kasama sa bahay (husband, helpers, etc) o yung mga madalas mo makausap/makasama (immediate family, in-laws, close friends, etc).
Nakakapagod kasi talaga sa simula kaya we need the support of those around us. First two weeks ang pinaka-challenging sa akin. Puyat, pagod, etc. But after that, ok na ako. Naka-adjust na somehow..
