sis bhey yung 500 mo at 800 ni hubby mo is yun na yung full amount nyo sis. Mas mababa yung matatanggap nyo na pension than those paying 500 in the Philippines kasi yung 500 nila may plus 1000 from their company pa, so yung total contribution nila is 1500. If they're able to contribute 10 years or 120 months, they can received atleast 5,600/month na pension, lalaki if mas matagal na silang nagcocontribute.

Whereas for you and your husband sis atleast 1,800/month lang na pension for you and 2,800/month lang din for your husband. If aabot yung contribution nyo ng 30 years then this value would go up to 3000/month for you and 4500/month for your husband.

Ok din yung gratuity such as makakatanggap ka ng 443,835 AED if you have worked for 24 years with basic salary of 20K AED. That is if you think having about Php5M when you retire is enough for you.

If that's not enough I guess maganda yung ginawa ni sis shoutingwind na magsasave din. Pero mas maganda if we also learn to invest para mas lumago pa pera na'tin and not eaten by inflation.

sis yena, interested din ako sa stock market pero dapat aralin ito diba and medyo tutok dapat.. we have savings account though onti lang ang laman magastos kasi ang may kids haha lalo na't ang mahal dito sa abu dhabi but it's ok kasi love of our lives namin sila hehe. may savings account din ang kids ko, pag may monetary gift for them, i put it in their savings as much as possible... nakakatuwa naman kayo ni hubs mo talagang may investment na sa stock market

bhey, if you're going to trade sa stock market, ayun dapat maalam ka. Pero if savings lang... like you buy stocks and leave it there until maisipan mo na ibenta, then its ok. Kahit hindi tutukan. Yung trading kasi kailangan minu minuto naka tutok ka.

yung savings naman you just leave it there...tapos pag napansin mong mataaas na, you can sell or just keep it there. yun turo ni bo sanchez. hehe

Sis Pano ang computation nyan? Kase I did a computation if for example the basic salary is 9k in 25 yrs its around 400K AED.  Siguro magkaiba ang computation ng company natin.

And I just recently open an account with BPI na pwede ko hulugan monthly.  I already have 2 savings account dito sa Dubai, one is for receiving my salary and for expenses, tapos yung isa yung hindi ko pwede galawin.  But I thought na mas maganda na sa Pinas ko na ipunin kase kapag dito may chance pa rin magalaw. 

Yung yearly ticket allowance na nakukuha ko (for me and hubby) itinatabi ko din yan lalo na this year na hindi ako uuwi para dagdag savings din. 

hirap ng life noh? you really need to be WAIS and iwas sa unneccesary gastos.  Buti nga ngayon wala na akong amor bumili ng mga damit at sapatos, and I don't like expensive bags and watches (salamat talaga at di ako mahilig dito!).

May certain rules daw kasi like the maximum you get is only 2 years total of your latest salary, so that would be about 24 years work though may mga company daw that they will extend that benefits para magstay longer sa company nila.

For easy calculation sis eto naman yung online calculator, lagay mo lang salary mo and number of working years, push CALCULATE and viola andyan na total gratuity mo. So for 9K and 25years nasa 157500.00 lang

So yun lang basis ko baka may iba pang paraan sa pagcalculate.

^Ahh ok.  That's the baseline Sis, any company should and must follow that computation, however some companies can give beyond what is required from them.

one of the computation i have encountered is this:
11 years of service = (basic pay x 12/365 x 5 (yrs of service) x 45 days) + (basic pay x 12/365 x 6 (yrs of service) x 60 days)

I noticed that hospitality industry's computation is mababa as compared to other industry.  Although some hotels provide Pension plans to their employees (asst. manager/manager and above) on top of gratuity.
