@madam cruella the vet also recommended VCO sa bald patch ng dog ko. Nagkaka itchies na kasi siya because summer na, medyo mainit na and he has sensitive skin. Baka effective din for your cat. We use VMV's Know It Oil.

Thanks @enzicey for the feedback. I watched reviews din sa Youtube. Learned that if the cat pees on silica cat litter, di mo siya isccoop out. Ikakalat mo lang siya ulit with the rest of the crystals. I find it kind of weird. Worried about the smell din.

Catsan so far so good. My cat loves it! When I poured fresh litter on her litter box, nag roll roll siya and nag hang out muna dun. That's before she peed/pooped on it.

OK na nga rin yung catsan, saka parang mas matagal din maubos.  Madalas din kasi Catsan yung available sa mga supermarkets saka hardware stores eh... pero nagttry din ako ng iba.  Ok din "Our Cat", parang Catsan din pero mas konti lang yung laman saka mas pino, tapos may different scents. Medyo mahal lang sa P220 kasi mas konti laman nya. I usually find it in Handyman stores.

Gusto ko din "Happy Cat" saka "(jiemi) Cat Litter" kasi super hard clumping saka less odor din, mas madali i-scoop ng hindi nagbbreak. Problema lang paminsan minsan lang lumilitaw tong mga brands na to sa ace hardware o rob supermarket :/

@Cat Meaw Our Cat baby powder scent is sold out in Pet Express. Mukhang mabenta nga siya because all the other scents are available pa. I saw a lot (Our Cat baby powder scent) in Dogs in the City Eastwood. They even have a large sack

1. Any good vet near the West Ave/SM North/Timog area? We used to bring my cat to Animal House New Manila but I no longer trust them

2. We usually feed her Whiskas but she will need a better diet moving forward -- what brand do you recommend? Royal?

akala ko wala na cat lovers..I was stuck pala sa thread II.

All my kitties are strays. 1 from a neighbor's house. 1 was from the forest field? Idk how to describe but we found it dying sa weeds. 1 from a pound so 3 strays in total. All indoor. 2 boys and a girl. The first cat is so.. BIG! ever since he got neutered. Actually, all 3 are big. Even the doctor was shocked at how big they are. But he has an ear infection and its so difficult to treat ugh.
Im thinking of buying ropes and wrapping it around wood as a scratchpost,has anyone tried that?

And does anyone know where to buy catnip online? My local petstore keeps running out. And cat treats too

Did it. Bought an abaca rope ( can't remember where I bought it from). I guess, I didn't make it too tight so after 2 weeks, waley na. LOL Just bought a scratching post from Pet Express.

Neutered cats tend to gain weight, as in! In my case, I play with them (like habulan, taguan - parang bata lang) so they'll have time to move around the house.

lately hindi mahilig uminom yung pusa ko so nagpa-plan kami mag DIY ng cat drinking fountain. based kasi sa articles sa internet effective for their cats, naa-attract ang pusa na uminom. for food, better ask your vet.

Nope, store talaga sya. 
They love the scratching post. Kaso minsan when they're on the sofa, sina-scratch din nila. Our sofa is brown so naisip ko baka tingin nila kahoy yun. hehe

^i don't think tingin nila kahoy yun, mukhang depende sa "feel" o material kung isa-scratch nila. dito sa amin kahit may scratching post, kinakalmot pa rin nila yung leatherette and mga boxes.

I use box para sa scratching post ni meow ko. Pero yung medyo malambot na, para masarap sa pakiramdam niya. Matalino sila. Kahit pa bilhan ng scratch post, pag may napag tripang iba, dun pa din sila. Kaya hinayaan ko si meow sa box. Yun ang fave niya eh.

Share lang, nung nawala ako ng 4mos, pagdating ko super naawa ako kay meow. As in galis all over! Napagalitan ko pa tatay ko dahil di niya inasikaso. Grabe iyak ko nun. Talagang wala na siya buhok. Sinabon ko siya gamit Dr Kauffman. Then VCO pinahid ko sa mga galis niya. I switched to Vitality for his food. After 2weeks, balik normal siya. Mapili siya sa food. Ayaw niya ng Friskies, KiteKat, Catfood At Iams. Princess at Whiskas lang bet niya. Oh well, ok na din kasi cheap ang Princess.

Wag agad buhusan ng water, I mean dapat wisik wisik muna. Yan ang style ko nung una ko siya paliguan. Basta onti onti lang hanggang wet na hair niya. Saka iwasan muna yung face niya. Baka feeling niya nalulunod siya. Hehe. Hindi ako nagka prob sa pagpapaligo.

mga sis I don't think necessary yung cat magbath po, unless long hair sila sabi ng vet no need ligo daw yung cat but if you want, once a week lang daw.. yung fur kase nila doesnt jive with water.. but of course if dumi yung cat, ligo2 din.

nainis ako sa cat kase super white niya, eh gustong lumabas..but the moment he steps out, he rolls in the dirt!!! WTF!

Anyone know a good online cat supply store.. desperately wanting to get catnip and get my cat high ^^ hindi same effect yung lemongrass..

Scratching post! This is now my dilemma with my cat. After the wedding isasama ko yun cat ko sa lilipatan namin na bahay. Worry ko bago lahat ng gamit dun and my fear is masira yun sofa namin kaka-scratch. Any other way para hindi na siya magscratch? I am thinking na maglagay ng isang box sa may sofa para dun siya maglaro. Sa bahay namin kasi ngayun halos nasira na niya yun upuan nung sofa namin na kahoy.

^ sis blackgreen, we have the SAME dilemma! I also want to take my cat with me but I'm worried na mag-scratch siya sa lahat ng furniture namin. Options ko are:

1) Buy scratching post and sprinkle catnip on it (?)
2) Regularly maintain her nail trim (papagawa ko nalang sa vet/Animal House, magastos pero worth it vs scratched furniture)
3) May nabasa ako online na there's this spray that's odorless for humans pero mabaho for cats. Have to research further kung nakakasira siya ng wood or other furniture pero might buy and spray it all over the condo! Hehe.

Dati may scratching mat yung cat ko but it was THE scratching mat. Nung nasira/tinapon, ayaw na niya ng all other posts na binili namin.

Trainable ang mgs pusa, kapag na train sila ng maaga na Hindi mag scratch SA furniture Hindi na mila gagalawin yan. SA MIL ko, kawayan ang base ng furniture's wala namang scratches, iyong SA mga alaga ko Hindi umubra kasi Hindi ko sola nabantayan noong baby pa lang
