What I find weird in Atty. Fortun's letter is he said na there was a breach of contract then later he said he's resigning. I'm not a law expert of any sort pero di ba if there is a breach of contract, eh di the contract can be terminated na so there's no need to resign. By resigning kasi para ngang he confirms the suspicions of our sisses here na he's doing it kasi nadadamay na personal life nya. Just my two cents

Mahilig talaga sa mga "Me Against the World Cases" ang Fortun brothers. siguro they welcome the challenge. Di ba si Sigfrid Fortun yung sa Ampatuan case. IMO, mas grabe yun. Pag naiisip ko yun bumabaliktad pa din sikmura ko, much more kung ikaw ang lawyer. Buti nagresign na si Raymond as CL's lawyer. Buti pa magconcentrate na lang sya sa photography at sa iba pa nyang clients.

But really, itong mga lawyers na ito, kapag nilapitan ng mga goons, paano ba sila humindi.  Puede naman sila mag oo muna then tsaka pabayaan nalang ang kaso otherwise baka sila mismo eh ipa-bugbog or ipapatay.

Seriously CL and DC does not have credibility at any point. I feel glad Atty. Fortun decided to resign. Sabi ng brother ko when he was asked daw if he lost confidence on his clients, he replied "i lost confidence in myself to defend them". Meaning alam nya din na walang panalo ang kaso na to. He just said it indirectly.

MANILA -- Model Deniece Cornejo, who has accused actor-host Vhong Navarro of rape, has denied that she is an escort.

In a statement sent to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, which was published on Tuesday, Cornejo cleared speculations that she is a call girl after Malaysian Greg Binunus said in his affidavit submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation, that he met Cornejo in a bar.

Binunus used to rent Cornejo's condominium unit in Taguig City where the mauling incident happened.

Cornejo said she met the Malaysian through a customer who bought goods from her.

“I met Mr. Greg through a girl who purchased goods from me. She happened to work at a piano bar. She gave Mr. Greg my number, hoping that he would purchase goods from me in order for her to get a commission,” said Cornejo, who runs an online fashion store.

She said it just happened that she was also looking for a condo unit near Makati area.

“During my meeting with Mr. Greg, he also discussed his other projects. He mentioned that he was opening a Southeast Asian restaurant … in the Fort and asked me to be an endorser and [to also] help him [in] branding and management since I am a hospitality management student,” she said.

Cornejo also noted that Binunus left the condo unit because of robbing incident.

In a previous interview, Cornejo also claimed that her unit was robbed right after the mauling incident.

“I then decided to stay in that unit [on] a short-term basis while looking for a more accessible place in exchange for helping him in his business,” Cornejo said.

In the statement to the newspaper, Cornejo also explained why she bought a laptop computer, which emerged after the NBI sent a subpoena to a computer store in Quezon City where she bought the gadget after the alleged rape attempt by Navarro.

She said the laptop is for her research on rape.

“This is why I bought this laptop, in order to do my research on the matter aside from continuing to do my creative work in fashion and design. I find it hard to believe that buying a laptop with a video-editing software has anything to do with me being raped,” Cornejo said.

eh diba sinabi nga nung manager nung piano bar na nagwork talaga siya don? tapos ngayon nagdeny na naman siya. about the laptop, kailangan talaga bumili ng bagong laptop para magresearch about rape? at bakit niya kailangan magresearch? para malaman niya kung paano ba dapat ang kilos ng isang rape victim? edi inamin din niya na talagang video editing software yung binili niya, unlike sa sinabi ni Atty. Fortun before na photo editing lang.
