^Hi Sis, ganyan yung mga term insurance na natanggap kong proposals, like sa Philam and Pru Life, 10 yrs to pay pero covered ka pa din until old age.

Eto lang nakita ko Sis:

A whole life insurance contract has level premiums, pays dividends, and cash value is guaranteed by the insurance company. A universal life insurance contract (UL), or variable universal life insurance contract (VUL) does not have minimum cash value guarantees in the same way that whole life does.

Hi sis!

If sa mga term insurance ba, kahit ofw possible? Pipirma kalang sa pinas ng policy, then kapag nag back to work kana abroad magagamit parin sya.

And may question ako sis, hope you can enlighten me.
May pagkakaiba ba ang whole life insurance sa VUL?

Ang hanap kasi namin sis na insurance is like ganto, I dont know if meron eh :(

For example we will pay for a 5 or 10 year policy for both life & health insurance, then after ma complete ang payment, we are already insured until age 60-70++ or so.. Pero pure insurance sya, walang investments. It doesn't matter kahit walang fund value, as long as protected kami as we age? Meron bang ganyan sis?
Hello sis, term insurance is possible for OFW's as long as hindi restricted yung country of residence.

We have 2 forms of whole life insurance sis,  one is Traditional and another is VUL. Whole life sila kasi it will insure you practically till the rest of your life, unless you reach beyond 100 years old which is possible na nowadays. Baka yung hanap mo is a traditional insurance na payable like 5 years/10 yrs/20 yrs then insured ka na till 100. Yes may ganun, maaaring lagyan ng rider.

Traditional insurance is not purely protection sis, may  cash value eto once na magdecide ka na i-surrender at a certain time.

^OMG thank goodness sis D4thAngel!!! Thank you for explaining it very well.

Hehe! Anyways sis, for traditional, example 5 or 10 years to pay, what if in the middle of payment let say on the 3rd year of (5 year policy) or on the 7th year of (10 year policy) eh hindi mo na kayang ituloy? As in nawalan ka bigla ng work or nagkaroon ng financial problem, what will happen? Ma forfeit ba lahat ng hinulog? Ma stop ang protection? Pwedeng bawiin ang nahulog or pweding ituloy kapag capable kana ulit? or depende sa insurance company ang rules?

Salamat sis and God bless you! :)

Aside from that, pwede pa utangan yung account mo in case the need arises.

^that is kung nag mature na yung policy mo sis.

Sis D4thAngel, correct me if I am wrong, ang alam ko naman, insurance could either be a traditional insurance or vul. Then, traditional insurance could either be whole life which is yung usually until age 100 or technically for your entire life, and term life which is yung renewable naman every certain number of years.

Pero most of the time premium loan yan unless pinapili ka ng ibang options.

Hi, may I ask if hindi talaga nakikita yung daily/monthly losses/gains kapag VUL? May nakita kasi akong comment sa facebook group about VUL na naiinis sya kasi 20k [textspeak!] losses nya. Annual report na kaya yun pag may ganun? Thank you!

Sis, nasa MyAxa app, everyday may update dun. Your friend will appreciate VUL in the long run. I hope the financial advisor has explained that VUL will depend on the performance of stock market (if she had chosen equity investment), long term and what is guaranteed is the replacement of income should the insured person gets sick or would pass away. Initially, may mga premium charges yan, just like any other insurance company. Focus on the benefit muna, why in the first place she availed an investment with insurance.

If I were you, before you sit down and listen to the financial advisor about their products, be 100% sure that you are willing to lose money. I had a bad experience with Axa, good thing I was able to pull out because of the cooling off period. I lose 2,600 from my 15k in just 2 months. But then, because this is luke stock investment cum insurance. It is volatile and subject to market price. However, my Axa Health Max initial payment will not be returned because only variable products or those insurance-investment have cooling-off period. Traditional insurance do not have. So good bye money! 😒

Investing via an insurance plan serves a selfless purpose. Kung purely investment lang, you can shop for other investment vehicles around, may stock market trading, mutual funds, uitf.  Any investment will expose you to risk, pwedeng manalo or matalo. But if you want guaranteed income, go to banks and open a savings or time deposit account.

When investing via insurance plan, please be mindful of the insurance charges. You are not only paying the fund manager (who have qualified expertise in managing your investment, who is also present in mutual fund companies as well), but you are also funding an insurance basket which refers to the premium charge. Parang paluwagan, kung sino ang unang mag pass-away, his family will get the benefit, kung sino ang unang magkasakit, he will get the benefit. Besides, ang bulk ng premium charges will be present during the early years of the contract lang, kaya you are encouraged long-term goal. With variable plans,  benefits ang guaranteed, not the income.

Variable products has cooling off period, while traditional products has guaranteed cash surrender values. If an advisor has explained the product clearly, and client has understood it well, there will be no regrets.

It is just based on my own personal experience with Axa. I am not an aggressive risk taker and so I prefer more the savings, time deposit and real estate investment. To each on his own. Though, I am still planning on getting a life or health insurance in the near future but I will solidify my finances first.

Hi,

I took AXA axelerator and my premium is 32,500 quarterly. Signed all docs abroad and  sent via LBC. 2 yrs nko ngbabayad and my term is 10 yrs. I just came across one message here that says to be wary of signing abroad otherwise, it is void. Should I really worry ? Also, been reading premiums bakit yung sa iba 5 yrs lang and parang ang laki yata ng binabayaran ko? I'm guilty of not fully reviewing the policy because pinepressure ako ng officemate ko na magsign na agad. Friend nia kasi yung agent. ughhh. Please enlighten me.  Thanks!

Hi sis, re Axa Global Health Access- basically it's a health insurance with HMO features.  Cashless transactions with network hospitals (Asian, St.Lukes, Makati Med, etc...), or reimbursements up to P100M annual coverage.

Has anyone ever tried using their AXA Global Health card for emergencies and hospitalization? Wala naman pong problema getting pre-approved before admitting? Unlike HMOs kasi like Maxicare or Medicard, it seems AXA doesn't have representatives in major hospitals so I am a bit worried na naghihingalo ka na, for example, eh hindi pa ma-pre approve yung insurance mo at hindi ka mabigyan ng room. Would appreciate hearing from someone who has actually used their AXA. Thanks!!  :)

Please go to any Axa branch when you come home. Ipa-regularize mo. If what you have is Axelerator,  you have option to stop after 5 years, mag-fill up ka ng Premium Holiday form. But better kung ituloy mo beyond 5 years, samantalahin mo na wala ka nang premium charge.  Yung iba nagto-top up pa.

May Axa products na  available to OFW's but with residency restrictions. Online purchase  yun and approved by Insurance Comm. But you need to do sa Axa Phils website mismo. Dun ka magfill-up ng details and payment via credit card.

No charges sis.

Mga sisses, baka meron sa inyo nag-avail ng Axa Global Health Access (P100M  medical insurance/hmo), may enhancements this August  like reimbursible vits/supplements chargeable to Annual Executive Check up, family of 3 already gets a discount, Covid coverage, etc...  Talk to your FA's.
