AXA Philippines

What can you say about their products?  A friend of mine suggested this 5years VUL @ Php 2,500/month but you are only insured for Php 150,000.00 pero sabi niya, she is looking daw for a long term living benefit which is mukhang malaki nga ang returns..

Back when I was shopping for life insurance, AXA was the worst.
Their reps had dismal knowledge about VULs which was and still
is their main product.

Imagine asking the rep about topup charges while reading her
proposal and getting an answer that there's no charges.
I then had to point out that it says there is a topup charge right
there on her proposal tsk.

That wasn't an isolated incident btw.

I'm not sure if they have straightened out their training methods.

Speaking of AXA - sila lang ba may health insurance like I-Heal? Meron na kaya dito sa gt na may I-Heal din? Anong feedback?

^^^Buy term and invest the difference.

In that VUL, you are only insured for 150,000? Way low, that's only worth one's burial expenses. She could buy a "very basic" term insurance, monthly premium around P700-1000 if you're 27 and above; cheaper if you pay annually. Then she can invest the whole thing in a mutual fund or uitf. What we're avoiding here is the high commission fees these agents get.

Just my 2 cents worth.  ;)

If you want to have a higher death benefit, they have also a plan where you can invest in the same funds but that insures you for a higher amount, like 700,000 in the case you pay 2.5 a month. It's called Life Basix. The cheapest premium to cover is actually their Life eXentials. You pay for only 5 years 1,000 a month and you are insured for 600,000 (paid in 60 monthly amounts of 10k) as death benefit up to you are 55. If you want to continue the cover afterwards you can move to a permanent plan without health questions.

A former colleague and friend recently spoke with me about insurance. Tapos in the end of our discussion I found out that he's with AXA. Well, he talked about VUL, pero naka BTID na kasi ako eh. So, yun di na namin na discuss yung mga products nila. Pero sa recent news, #3 na ata yung AXA sa mga Insurance.

For wealth management, AXA has a single payment like Ambition X for as low as 100k then you can see the progress immediately. You can choose the funds that you would like your investment na mapunta. Depende if your a conservative or aggressive investor. Mataas ang rate of return ng AXA.

Its a VUL type insurance. Just look up VUL in google to educate
yourself. Note that if you read US based articles, they recommend
BTID which doesn't really fit in our setting.

Regarding BasiX itself, I remember deciding against it(I ultimately
got a VUL from Insular) due to its loyalty scheme bonus.

See previous posts.. they said it was expensive.
I also have a copy of the proposal(Health Max lang)
and I can confirm that its very expensive compared
to the benefits.

Hi sis florencia, AXA's Health Max is yes, quite expensive. But you should see first its benefits and coverage. Average, depending on your age, monthly payment is like 2.5k. This covers na 56 major illnesses and 18 minor. Guaranteed sum insured is 1,000,000.

Enjoy the following benefits from Health MaX:
· Guaranteed Major Critical Conditions coverage* of PHP 1,000,000 if you are diagnosed with any of the 56 specified major
critical conditions.
· Guaranteed Minor Critical Conditions coverage** of PHP 200,000 is advanced if you are diagnosed with any of the 18
specified minor critical conditions. During the life of your policy, you can claim a maximum of two (2) minor critical
conditions.
· Advanced Health Fund, in the form of guaranteed cash endowments, which you have the option to withdraw for health
expenses such as outpatient treatments and medicines equivalent to PHP 200,000 by age 70 up to PHP 500,000 if left to
accumulate, by age 85.
· Guaranteed life insurance coverage* of PHP 1,000,000 from day one of policy issuance.
· Guaranteed cash value that can be used should there be unexpected need for funds.

Aside from that, this has a cash value, and in case you didn't use it in the future, kahit live kapa, you can get it. Also, this is investment link that is earning interest din.

This solution is effective agad on Day 1. Di mo na need mag antay pa ng ilang taon to claim or use it.

Naghuhulog ako ng monthly payment sa axa worth 2,500.
Ito ba yung health max?
My agent said na yung returns dito sa investment ko is yearly, compounded, and based sa stock market yung magiging interest (dahil sa stocks daw iniinvest yung payment natin), meaning walang fixed interest rate annually. Is it true?
And also is it true na pwede ko lang sya iwithdraw after 5 years?
