May minimum amount of premium din ba sa AXA Flexiprotect tulad sa Manulife?

Example:
YRT - 12k minimum sa Manulife.

Hello, any AXA Global Health Insurance Owner/Holder here? As in yung HMO like Maxicare ganon? We are based abroad kasi and we travel so we need an international Medicare.

Hi sis, re Axa Global Health Access- basically it's a health insurance with HMO features.  Cashless transactions with network hospitals (Asian, St.Lukes, Makati Med, etc...), or reimbursements up to P100M annual coverage. You may opt to get treatment outside PH since it also has network hospitals out there. This is available to Ph residents with 100days max stay abroad per year. To give you an idea, annual premium for a 45yr old is P65,280. If client has existing HMO from other companies and declares that first P200k will be charge to that hmo, he gets 40% discount on his annual premium. A family of 4 (with minor kids) gets another 15% discount. Once approved, it's renewable till 99 years old.

^Thank you so much, that's very informative and helpful. D4thAngel

I've talked to an AXA Agent here sa Qatar upon learning na mukang impossible kami mag submit ng application sa Pinas, since we basically stay there lang a month yearly. Sayang.

However, dito ang proposal sakin is nasa 80,000 (with Dental routine procedures) International (w/o US) and nasa 37,000 Php Regional (Qatar, Pinas, UAE etc) but dental is not covered. Yun pa naman sana habol ko.

Hi Sis,

With regards kasi sa applications kailangan talagang sa Pilipinas ginagawa unless okay kayo mag send ng applications thru LBC (for example). Kailan yung balik nyo dito sa Pinas? :)

Or else di kami elligible. So maski isign namin Contract dito and ipa LBC or DHL, balewala rin.

Diyan na ba kayo sa abroad for good or are you planning to go home ba? Kung hospitalization kuha na lang kayo kung nasan country kayo. Kung investment, maganda tumingin sa Pilipinas. Going back kung sa hospitalization, mas best kung nasang bansa ka talaga.  Bakit? Kasi kung magkasakit ka (where you are right now), baka di ka rin makauwi dahil sa medical condition.

^Yes I agree, kaya AXA sana kasi global (international coverage) pero upon learning na sobra taas ng premium, mas advisable nga talaga ata kumuha nalang local, tutal 1 whole year naman kami andito, and umuuwe lang Pinas ng 1 month for our vacation.

Pero sa whole life insurance na kukuhain namin sa Philam and Pru Life/Insular, dyan talaga kami mag sign.

Ah that's good. Have you considered VULs din as an investment? :)

poetrytoprose Yes, pero meron daw VUL aspect yung kukuhain namin sa Philam Life and sa Pru Life UK, though sa totoo lang newbie pa kami talaga so we still have a lot to learn.

Anong mai-advise mo sakin with regards sa VUL?

Mga sis, be warned against signing abroad ha. Within Phils lang ang pag-sign ng contract or otherwise void yan.  Online purchase is safe kasi authorized ni Insurance Commission.

Kasi it's basically getting yourself protected and at the same time investing kung gusto mo mawala yung hassle with finding insurance and investment. ALTHOUGH, mahal siya ha.

Kung may patience ka naman to take care of many accounts I suggest avail yourself with a term insurance then get an investment (MF or stocks or purely investment driven products).

Yes, don't sign contracts na nasa abroad kayo. All documentation and contract signing should be done in the philippines.

Oops, i overlooked sis, my apology. May iba iba kasing variant ang Global Health Access.  Yung na-offer sa inyo is a different package. Yes hindi eligible kung more than 100days  wala sa Pinas. Mababale wala, sayang naman. Baka akala ni advisor, vacation mode kayo dyan sis. :)

Hi sis!

If sa mga term insurance ba, kahit ofw possible? Pipirma kalang sa pinas ng policy, then kapag nag back to work kana abroad magagamit parin sya.

And may question ako sis, hope you can enlighten me.
May pagkakaiba ba ang whole life insurance sa VUL?

Ang hanap kasi namin sis na insurance is like ganto, I dont know if meron eh :(

For example we will pay for a 5 or 10 year policy for both life & health insurance, then after ma complete ang payment, we are already insured until age 60-70++ or so.. Pero pure insurance sya, walang investments. It doesn't matter kahit walang fund value, as long as protected kami as we age? Meron bang ganyan sis?
