No, what you have sounds like a VUL.
Its probably the newer Life BasiX or the older
AXA Honey.

But seeing that you mentioned about a restriction
on redemption/withdrawal then you probably have
the Life BasiX.

And no its not true. You can choose to withdraw
from your funds but you will be paying a penalty.
The penalty goes down as you near the 5th year
which disappears after the 5th year.

sis CASELL

health max has sun insured of 1million. you can use twice the 20% amounting to 200,000 each (400,000 twice) for minor illness and the 600,000 for major illness. major covers 56 illnesses and 18minor illness. ito yung pinakamalking coverage sa health insurance. other insurances starting to copy this na ngayon. then, if hindi mo naman sya nagamit, at the age of 70, you can get 20% of the money, age 75 15%, age 80, 10% and age 85 5%. Aside here sa guarnteed amount, meron kapa dividends depending on the stock market.

got this  for my husband payable until 65 years old  he is 43 years old...mahal na talaga sa edad nya and monthly n lang mode of payment para magaan sya, kaya ko kinuha dahil sa health insurance ako nag invest....sabi nya iponin ko n lang same lang kasi yung face amount at kung iipunin ko until 65 years old n siya, then sabi ko mahirap mag ipon ng monthly for that kasi laging magagastos unlike ito force to pay ka talaga and ang inisip ko kasi yung insured sya habang working pa sya and paano kung biglang nagkasakit(critical illness) may family history sila ng cancer(uncles, aunts and grandparents died of cancer) priority ko na lang ang health dahil mahal magkasakit...prior to this meron  na kasing money tree from Philam so ok na yun top up na lang for retirements or kids education....

^yes sis i super agree. you'll never know what will happen. at least insured and secured kana. saka you can get the sum insured kahit di pa tapos ang payment incase kaylanganin. Hindi mo yun magagawa kung mag iipon ka lang sa bank or sa sarili mo.

And great you get from AXA. Your in good hands. :)

Hi I have a lifebasix na wealth equity found. I'm paying roughly around 15k a year for it with sum insured of 400k. if i do decide to get or add healthmax for add'l health coverage, pwede ba e incorporate yun sa existing ko na lifebasix? Hope someone can help.. thanks

Hi, Axelarator is basically a VUL din po, 5 years to pay, and focus more on investment. years 1-3, premium is divided, a portion goes to insurance and the rest goes to investment. pagdating ng year 4 and 5, all premium goes to investment na po, so mas mabilis ang growth ng money.

Sis, Healthmax is a separate plan po. Pero kung di ka pa naka 1yr sa policy mo, pwede ka pa mag attach ng rider. Ask mo si FA mo about Care (Daily Hospital Income) and Shield (Critical Illness) na riders.

^^D4thAngel Sis, regarding axelarator -- since mabilis ang growth, can it be considered as good type on investment rather than insurance?

Hi sis, if you are looking for an investment with insurance rather than insurance with investment, Axelerator could be one of the answers.  Kung kumuha ka, you will notice - hindi kalakihan ang insurance coverage mo dyan pero malaki ang monthly mo. Kasi ang focus mo would be investment growth rather than protection.

Just availed online of AXA's Savings Exentials..Started with P1,500 monthly payment..Not bad na rin considering na 5 years lang babayaran then guaranteed na may makukuha ka after 20 years. :) pandagdag sa college ni baby. :)

Quote saken ng Axa for 54yr non smoker:

1) FlexiProtect (term w/ CIB)- 2M death, 1M illness

33thou for the first year then nadadagdagan yearly. walang mababalik sayo kasi nga term insurance siya. hanggat gusto mo insured ka, kailangan mo magbayad.advantage ay mura.

2)HealthMax- 1M death OR illness. pag naka claim ka na sa illness, wala ka ng makukuha sa death.

80thou yearly until age 65. so 12years ka magbabayad then covered until 100years old. bibigyan ka ng 200t pag dating mo ng 70yrs old (pero baka diaper nalang mabili mo by that time dahil sa inflation)

question: may investment part ba ang HealthMax? sabi kasi sa previous posts may makukuha pa depende sa takbo ng market...

From what I understand from the Healthmax policy of my kids, Healthmax has Cash Surrender Value starting on year 3 of policy. Yung investment returns will start at age 70 should policy holder opted not to advance funds (which is 20% of Sum Insured). So kung 1M ang coverage, 200k ang pwede i-advance at age 70, pag hindi kinuha it will earn pa. Say age 80 lang nag-start mag-claim ng advance health fund, policy holder will be getting 200k plus interest, and another 150k.

I've got honey with AXA but i'm thinking of withdrawing it na lang because my account is currently flagged as "orphan". My agent is no longer with the firm, and I dont think may nag aasikaso pa sakin, as in more on payment na lang and that's it. I have this feeling na, after kong mag avail sa kanila wala ng further service na nangyayari. I dont even know what's happening with my plan anymore, except when I check the value of the investment portion online. Eh I think the investment is slowly growing and better kung sa ibang companyinstrument na lang siya naka invest.

Anyone who has the same status? or anyone who knows how can I get a different agent?

sa pagka intindi ko sis:

magbabayad ka neto hanggang 65 years old ka.
makaka claim ka ng face amount (yung amount na kinuha mo for insurance) either pag namatay, or nagkasakit
pag patak ng 70 years old, sigurado may makukuha kang 200t, 75yr=350thou and so on...

ang ayaw ko dito, ang mahal ng babayaran mo yearly kasi nga may balik na pera sayo. kasi kung iisipin, magkano nalang ba halaga niyang 200t pag tanda natin. baka diaper nalang mabili niyan. LOL!

You may opt to pay Healthmax for 20 yrs or until 65 yrs old(if 21yrs old and up), whatever suits your budget. Sa kids ko age 9 and 5, 15k annual for 20 yrs, 1M coverage. My sister who is 30yrs old was quoted 25k annual for 20yrs, or 18k annual if she pays until age 65, P1M coverage as well.

Sis, in my opinion continue mo lang plan. Sayang naman naumpisahan mo na. Ganun din naman kung switch ka sa ibang investment instruments, magu-umpisa ka ulet and you will withdraw your investments with lower returns.  Do fund switching. Equity Funds of Axa is doing well. If that is a 10-yr plan, di mo talaga maa-appreciate growth ng investment within 10years dahil for the first few years, hindi naman lahat ng premium mo naka-invest.  Technically nagbayad ka ng protection, na if something would happen, a guaranteed amount will be given to your family regardless of market performance. Check mo sa policy mo yung proposal mo, nandun ang projection of returns.
