Hallooo ladies! I just want to share my very first time homemade wax and it was my very 1st time din to experienced waxing.
I never had my waxing in any salon in Phils. and here abroad, so what I did basa basa lang ako dito sa thread then I watched youtube on how to make a body wax paste, the procedures on how to apply the wax and how to pull out the hair and everything.
The result was very successful and not painful!  :)
Here's my procedures on how to make sugar wax:
1. Place 2 cups of white sugar, 1/4 cup of lemon/lime juice & 1/4 cup of water in the pan on the stove in a low heat. Heat slowly up to a slow boil.
2. Stir continually until cook or becomes brown for about 20-30 minutes.
3. Take it off the heat and let it cool for about 30 minutes then put in a bowl or jar.

I take a shower first while cooling my wax. Let your skin dry before applying the wax.
In UA - Consider the length of hair before waxing, the length should be 1/8 or 1/4 inch. Dry your underarms. To soak up excess moisture from the skin, you can also apply talcum powder. Don't wet your skin after waxing, that's why you need to take a shower first. Hindi naman malagkit ang pakiramdam after so don't worry. hehe...  ;D

I waxed my UA first, hanggang sa naaliw ako kaya pati both arms ko, naaliw ako lalo kaya pati both legs ko above the knee, buti na lang naubos ko yung wax kundi baka magbikini wax na rin ako. haha... I used gauze and unused cloth as my strips, kakatuwa lang.

After waxing, my skin is sooo smooth maaliwalas feeling ko e pumuti ako, I don't have any bruised, burnt or anything. Actually I did this 1 week ago and until now ang aliwalas pa rin ng skin ko.

Now I proved na kaya ko mag DIY, I can maintain it na by myself. wala pang gastos! happy me!
Sorry napahaba... I hope you ladies try to do DIY, fulfilling din, promise!  :) :) :) :)

yes sis burberi try to do DIY, dito kasi abroad mahal magpa wax sayang ang $ tapos not sure pa kung magagaling or marurunong sila. kung oorder naman ako amazon or ebay ng wax and everything, mahal din plus shipping fee e. nanood muna ko sa youtube ng iba't ibang video about waxing before ko sinubukan.

sa strips sis pwde na din unused cloths tapos gupit gupitin mo lang, may nabasa pa nga ako mas maganda daw gamitin e denim jeans. wala kasi ako unused denim jeans now kaya gauze and unused punda ng unan ko, hehe... i'm happy to help sis! :)

Coffee - For Dry skin and has whitening
Green Tea - For Sensitive Skin
Honey - For normal Skin

i've tried bare&Body sugar wax pero better tong sugar queen (Coffee) dito ko lang din nalaman to sa isang sis naten mas madali i knead and sama talaga hanggang roots saken nga since i'm using placenta soap kahit kaka scrub ko lang after ko mag Sugaring pumuti yung part na tapos na sumama pati dead skin used it yesterday for my legs, arms UA and Brazilian t'was perfect!  :)

^ thanks sis. :) I'll be ordering Sugar Queen Cold Wax. I think it's better for Brazilian compared to using strips. Na try mo din [textspeak!] Honey? Same quality lang ba sa Coffee? :)

First time ko nag DIY UA waxing last weekend. Di naman pala mahirap, tagal akong nag procrastinate nito kase na-ooverwhelm ako sa thought. :)) I used Glam Works Cold Wax.

Maganda reviews ng Nanny Rose, but it works better if used hot.

^ honey? sa sugar queen hindi pa pero sa bare body honey gamit ko dun. mas ok talaga sya kasi di sumasama yung skin masyado kahit di na lagyan ng powder prior. For me mahirap mag hot wax sa brazilian haha mas ok padin yung sugar paste. Feeling ko nga superwoman ako cause i've done my down there a couple of times na and sobrang rewarding yung feeling after.

Nagpa BW ako yday sa Let's Face It. Last pa nung buntis ako.. Same pa din, kayang kaya. Diba dapat wag basain for 24 hrs. Pero hindi ko kaya hindi maligo paguwi lalo at may baby ako. Haha

Sabi ng attendant may mga guys din na nagpapaBW, yung iba kasama gf/asawa sa loob.

I tried pink parlour and lay bare, mas less painful for me yung lay bare or maybe I got used to waxing already because I had a few sessions with pink parlour before I tried it at lay bare.  I only do it once or twice a year lang though or when I plan to go to the beach.  Maybe that's why may pain pa rin every time I get a brazilian.

Do you guys know any promo for waxing?  I'm not brave enough yet to do it DIY but I don't want to spend so much din on those things kaya I wait for promos lang. :)

First time ko magpa Brazilian and kinaya ko naman. Actually masarap na masakit. Yung sensation na sakit na tinutukoy ko eh dun sa soft part parang yung sakit sa ibang part pag nagpapatattoo. Happy naman ako. Just searched for post-waxing care and doing my best na masunod lahat yun.

Got my Sugar Queen Coffee Wax. What do you girls do after waxing? Is it okay ba to wipe the area with water? I just did, super lagkit kase ng feeling eh. Then I applied Aloe Vera soothing gel.

I used to have my BW done at Laybare, supeeeer sakit yung sa cl*t na part wahahaha. In fairness naman sa sugar wax, di siya masyadong mahapdi compared to strip wax and yung sa Laybare. Sa hairs lang talaga sya kumakapit. Try ko ulit pag tumubo na yung hairs hehe.
