ON OR BEFORE EDD DATE LUMABAS SI FIRST BABY??

I gave birth to my first born 1 day before my EDD via NSD

1st born-  38 weeks sya lumabas NSD (6 years ago)

now on my 2nd and my EDD is on March 27.  Going on 36 weeks now and I'm still working, naka leave na ko starting march 7, kase any time ng 37th week eh pwede na umire, partida graveyard shift pa ko, un nga lang hinahatid na ko sa work pag uwian naman, nagji jeep pa ko at overpass sa crossing.  ang bigat bigat ko na.sana sa 38th weeks din lumabas si baby..

With my first baby, I was 37w4d.  Labor was around 14hrs.  We went to the hospital around 4am since my labor pains and contractions were 5mins apart though when we got there I was still at 3cm. Hindi na rin ako pinauwi and baby came out 6:14om that evening.  I remember then I kept praying  and talking to baby na wag muna lumabas Kasi I still have my maternity photoshoot that Saturday-- 2 days after, lumabas siya. So thankful about that hehe

This time naman, I'm praying umabot ng 38 weeks. Basta wag matapat ng apr 4-5 Kasi wala si OB niyan. I'll be on my week 37 that week.  Kung kaya pa nga umabot after apr 11 eh better cause my mom will arrive from the US to help me again with my baby on that day naman

Hi sisses, thanks for sharing! ang dami palang lumalabas before ng due date. Nalilito tuloy ako kung kelan ako magf-file ng leave. Ang layo kasi ng office ko from the hospital, at lalo namang ayoko na sa MRT ako abutan. hehe

Bigla tuloy ako napaisip.. plan ko kasi magmaternity leave starting June 16, EDD ko kasi is June 18. Narealized ko now na last week pa lang ng May possible na maglabor na ako lagi pa naman ako tagtag at naglalakad.

^ hi GMGravity. You could ask your OB about your maternity leave. Meron tayong EDD, but 3 weeks before, anytime, baka magdecide nang lumabas si baby nang hindi sya premature. That's what happened to me. My OB advised me to take the ML 3 weeks before the EDD. Nagulat na lang ako lumabas nga si baby. Na-excite.

My OB naman asked me to stop working at 38 weeks. But since I can work from home that time, I had my manager approved na I will work from home starting my 37th week since I can give birth na nga anytime that week. Filing of ML will still be on the day I give birth.

What happened though was that Monday evening when I was supposed to start working from home, eh I started to labor na hehe so the next day, Tuesday when baby came out, start na ng ML ko.

Thanks sis aquarius. Natawa na lang ako sa sarili ko para mag-file ng maternity leave na effective 3 days before ng EDD ko. Last week ng May kasi 37 weeks na ako so dapat pala nakapagfile na ako by that time.

hi EJ2526, 37 weeks and 2 days. Sakto lang na hindi premature. EDD ko dapat sa 40th week pa.

GMGravity, oo ngapala, sabagay kasi kaya rin ako inadvise na mag ML early kasi sa province ako nanganak, e sa Manila ako nagwowork. mas preferred ko nga din dati sana na a week man lang before my EDD. pero i have to travel pa. di ka naman nagcocommute nang malayo papuntang work? take care, sis! lapit na. have a safe delivery.

so mga 37 weeks kayo nag labor mga sis? hmm. ako sana 38 weeks na si baby. o kaya basta April sya lalabas. kaya lagi ko kinakausap. sabi ko lagi sa kanya na "be good to mommy baby matthieu. APril ka lalabas ah." hehe. kahit April 1 basta April.. due date ko kasi according sa last ultrasound is April 13. dati plan ko din na a week before my edd ako mag leave kasi pwede naman daw sabi ni OB. kaya lang sa mga na iinterview ko eh may nanganganak na ng 12-15 days before due date nila kaya bigla akong nagulantang. i plan pa naman na hanggang last Friday ng March ako papasok. hehe. God Bless to us mommies... im 35 weeks..

^^2 hours travel ko everyday sis. Okay narin siguro iyong last week ng May magstart ang ML ko para makapagbonding pa kami ni hubby bago lumabas si baby and makapagprepare narin ng ibang things na kailangan before manganak.

^hehe sis ang lapit na lumabas ng baby boy mo.. Iniisip ko nga now if May or June lalabas si baby kasi possible nga pala na May palang lumabas na.

i gave birth last feb.  25,2014 via nsd. my due date is march 22. as per pedia, nagfull term naman si baby. kinabahan ob ko baka preterm labor ako. Thank God, okay lahat.

Congrats sis! Almost 1 month pa sis bago ang EDD mo, kahit ako baka kabahan ako non. Buti okay naman kayo ni baby, thank God talaga.

hello po..
im on my 35th na medyo nalilito akong icalculate kasi eh.. my next check up is on march 24 lagi ko kasi nakakalimutan itanong sa ob ko kung ilan weeks na ba ako.. but my edd is on april 6 according to my first ultrasound at ust but when im on my 7th months by april 11 daw nalilito na tuloy ko.. basta im expecting my angel first week of april... gusto ko na sana lumabas siya ng end of march pero baka magkaproblem ako sa philhealth ko kasi up to march lang yung covered ko,, magagamit ko pa din ba siya kahit saktong end of march ako maglabor? and help niyo naman ako to compute kung ialan weeks na talaga ako.. according to my ultrasound last january 22, im on my 28 weeks and 2 days... so paano ko ba ito iccount? thanks po...

^ sis , withregards to your age of gestation, it is computed by 2 means: via 1)LMP (last menstrual period) using the first day of your last mens and  2) via utz results during the 1st trimester. EDD is more accurate using these two rather than the latest utz results ( done at 20 weeks onward).

Im currently 40 weeks and 3 days via LMP, and 40 weeks 2 day via UTZ (first trim). My EDD is March 15, but until now cervix is still closed so i'm doing a lot of walking (dapat  hours a day!) to open my cervix and stimulate my contractions further. We had a BPS (biophysical score) a few days ago just to make sure baby is ok, thankfully she is naman. Sana lumabas na si baby though, we're all very excited to meet her!

My edd is April 1 but i gave birth last Saturday March 15. Nung March 10 nagpa check up ako sarado pa cervix ko. Kaya nagulat ako nung maglabor ako nung saturday pagdating namin ng hospital 5cm nako. Siguro yung salabat nga ata naka tulong kaya biglang open.
