@rocky, Thanks! Nag-alangan pa yung asawa ko kung papayag siya sa alok ng taxi driver na gawin fixed rate yung biyahe from Cebu city to Danao city. In fairness, reasonable naman yung rate na binigay.

@minnie99, no may kalayuan yung Brgy. Tan-awan (whale shark watching) sa Tumalog falls & Oslob town proper (location ng Baluarte & Cuartel ruins). If you're coming from whaleshark watching, unahin niyo na yung Tumalog falls kasi mas malapit iyun, then last yung ruins. Sorry, I don't know the price ng rent ng habal-habal; hindi ko natanong sa asawa ko. I'll keep you updated.

^mura yong 500 kasi nag-try na akong mag-metered taxi from quest hotel to danao 800. tapos pick-up naman ng van thru cebu executive, 1600

@minnie99, yung rent sa habal-habal sa Oslob ay P120/pax. My separate pa na habal-habal sa Tumalog falls worth P30/pax.

Another question, sa Oslob, alam mo ba kung may place to shower and place your bags kung walang resort na pagse-stay-an? Or can you pay the resorts entrance fees para pwede ka dun mag-shower?

^ minnie99 - Though we never tried, but there are shower rooms that I saw within the Whale Shark Watching Area. These shower rooms were intended for people to wash off sunblock (in case they applied)... so not too sure if you can take showers for a different purpose. Also, maraming nearby resorts from the Whale Shark Interaction area, so mukhang puedeng mag pay lang so you can wash up.

^^yes meron sis, don kila mang calixto. hanapin mo yong mga naka-green shirt. 5 pesos lang CR then 10 pag shower tapos walang entrance fee. don din namin iniwan gamit & safe naman kasi pag sa iba as in dadaan ka lang sa kanila 100 pesos

Sa MB Sunrise View Resort, may mga separate shower rooms pa sila for guests who just came for the whaleshark watching. As for the storage of bags, may dalang sasakyan yung ibang guests (na hindi naka-check-in); I assume the left their bags inside their cars. My ample parking space doon and wala naman problems sa security.

Sisses due to plenty of beautiful beaches in Cebu it is really confusing what particular one to choose. Alin ba talaga mga sis ang maganda puntahan na clear water, fine sand, nice beachfront resorts and maganda activities among theses beaches? Moalboal, camotes island, bantayan island, badian island or malapascua? Too many beaches too little time

Went to Moalboal last week kaso dahil wala nang rooms by the time we were booking, hindi namin nagustuhan yung accommodation namin, malayo sa beach mismo (pang-divers siya kasi). I never bothered to check Basdaku pero sabi ng mga kasama ko marumi daw (yung mga tao daw sa dagat naghuhugas ng pinggan at meron pa raw nagtapos ng leftover kanin sa tubig). I'm just telling you what they told me ha, kasi sa sobrang badtrip ko di na ako umalis sa room. Haha.

maganda virgin island sa bantayan then sa kota beach ka mag-stay para maganda beachfront. sa camotes aside sa beach may mga cave & ibang mapapasyalan. mangodlong paradise ka, maganda resort nila & bago pa. diving naman, moalboal or malapascua.

IMHO, malapascua may pinaka-fine na sand

l_neveph, in my case, I'd always go for Camotes Island. Love the secluded feeling and how quietly tranquil it is at night. As for resort choices, kokonti lang naman sobra, so whichever it is would be okay.

I_neveph Bantayan Islands and Camotes Islands have both fine sand, clear waters, nice beach fronts for beach vacation. Between the two, I prefer Bantayan Islands more. Sa virgin beach (silion island, part of Bantayan group of islands), pwede ka magsnorkeling and hawak mo ang oras.

Sa Malapascua and Moalboal, dapat marunong ka mag-dive.

^ Yep!!! Marco Polo hotel is an awesome choice. Breakfast at Café Marco is fabulous. There's shuttle service to major malls, too!!!
